Definitely different!! Not your typical distillery. Staff was amazing, very knowledgeable! The old fashion was delicious. If you want a nice drink and conversation at the bar this is nice.

Such an awesome experience! Pinto(mixologist) taught me so much on history of the cocktails with taste testing and comparisons! A very knowledgeable historian and cocktail maker. The place offers mixology classes including creating your own! Will be back for that class. A definite "MUST NOT MISS"

Having a blast with our teacher- Marin!

We had the best time with Marin teaching us how to make Nevada cocktails! They, of course, included Picon Punch, Rat pack Manhattan and fancy cherry cordial (can't remember the name). All were fantastic. As well, she taught us the art of making the twists and garnishes and the important glass styles. Highly recommend doing this event! Truly one of the best times we've ever had! Important note: if you enjoy Picon Punch, this is where you can purchase Amer Picon - once made by Torani, now made by Ferino Distillery!

Ferino started as a distillery and has morphed into a full bar experience with tasty craft cocktails using their own spirits. The drink menu rotates to showcase the seasonal flavors. They also offer distillery tours and tasting experiences, cocktail classes, and a Gin school. The team behind the bar have expert knowledge of the products and are always happy to tell you everything you want to know if you're looking to geek out and learn more in depth details. The decor is definitely eclectic. The main bar features a full wall mural with an old world feel to it. Then there are lots of shelves with intriguing bottles and jars that make you feel like you are in a fun cocktail laboratory. They also have a club called The Feral Hearts Society, which I am a member of. You get perks like $5 drinks, monthly drawings for free stuff, and 20% off products and 20% off drinks for people in your party.

We went to Ferino Distillery for a small birthday gathering. The ambiance was "chill." I loved the mural over the bar. Our host, Daniel, was phenomenal. We sampled great Italian spirits. My favorite was the Cannella cinnamon cordial. This family-owned and operated distillery is proudly located in the heart of Reno's Brewery District. Daniel showed us innovative spirits with ancient Italian origins. The experience is one we will not be forgetting. Thank you so much, Daniel! We had a great time.

Joe, the proprietor, was our host for the tasting and tour. Fun, compact distillery in Reno's "Brewery District" (sketch part of town, but on the upswing), Joe shared his Italian roots and passion for making the spirits that put this place on the map. Fun fact: Ferino is now the producer of the Amaro found in the potent Picon Punch. We stocked up on our favorites...the cinnamon cordial and Correto coffee liqueur. Yum! Fun time had by the 6 of us and will certainly be back.

This locally owned distillery makes several liqueurs and cordials for your enjoyment. During Tour de Brews one of the owners was bartending so we asked lots of questions. It is definitely work of passion. From the Cannella Cinnamon Cordial to the Caffe Notte coffee liqueur the creativity shows through. We were able to try several magical concoctions she made and leave with a bottle of Caffe Notte. It's a full bar so sit down and have a classic cocktail made for you or taste the locally made liqueurs. The space is large with a beautiful mural behind the bar. A perfect place for a bachelorette party I'm told. They also offer tours and classes.

I popped into Farino distillery last night for a cocktail with friends before going out to dinner. Absolutely adorable interior, the vibe is cozy yet chic. I ordered a paper plane one of my favorite cocktails. Our bartender was awesome. Really good vibes all around I'll be back! Something that is good to know is that they don't serve food. So, pro tip, bring your own pizza or take out!

I really love this distillery/place to learn about various alcohol that is made here!! Joe the owner is so personable and loves sharing his knowledge. He holds classes so folks can get hands on practice making yummy cocktails!! And bonus there a bar to order yummy cocktails!! Today I ordered The Heliotrope. So beautiful and really tasty!! A cocktail to be savored. I highly recommend this place!!

Perfect place to adventure out for a date night! The atmosphere was fun and had a speak easy type vibe! WE did the distillery tour and got some great background on the history of this place. It was awesome talking to the staff and seeing what they recommended. The history of how this all came to be was so fascinating and fun to learn about! My favorite was the coffee liquor and it will not disappoint, even if you aren't a fan of coffee!!! I highly recommend this place for a great spot to try one of a kind drinks that are only found right here at this distillery! They even have multiple microbrew spots for you to make your own gin! This is a cool spot with a near vibe! Highly recommend stopping by! Their drink suggestions will not disappoint!

The "normal" cocktails you would normally find but with a fun spin of them

Unlike any distillery tour we have ever taken as the tastings are not the normal but still fun and amazing! The place has a "hole in the wall" bar look to it when you first go in, but upon closer inspection there is a huge wall of beautiful and unusual alcohol's and aperitifs. Our tour was given by the owner and it was interesting how he told the story of how this business came to be and how with a lot of work and even more "try, try again" spirit he was able to make his dream come true. Tour or just stopping by for a cocktail is highly recommended.

What a great Birthday present. Thank you Donna Bates. What a fantastic afternoon at this absolutely great distillery Started with a tasting of 6 different gins with a description of the ingredients for each, so I can decide what I wanted in my gin (my gift was a gin making class). I choose my ingredients to equal 30 grams See pics for more details. Then while it was distilling, we were able to join a tour that Joe had scheduled. Great tour. Included tasting of 4 different liquers, followed by a tour of the distillery room Joe who's the owner was also a great presenter and teacher. Highly recommend you stop by and taste his unique cocktails. Once a month he has a comedian for entertainment. Sorry no food served at this venue. Just unique drinks Can't wait to come back and try a cocktail. Which, by the way change frequently

    Great, long bar!

Pro's: Nice long bar, spacious gathering area. Con's: Not sure. Go back?: Maybe More... We were here on a night where there was a bartender's competition, along the lines of Iron Chef, where barkeeps competed against each other using one same ingredient - Underburg. I had never heard of it and had fun learning about it - typically known as a digestiv so after-dinner. The local distributor is working to expose this unique flavor to the masses. The competition was fun to watch - because my friend was in it! As for the bar itself, it could be a great place to hangout. There was a spot for live entertainment in the back and, with that, it would be on the map as a fun destination. But one message to the staff...someone, please water the plants!

Located directly off of Longley Ln and adjacent to S. McCarran Blvd in a rather hidden and industrial part of Reno, this place has been offering delicious cocktails/mocktails dating back to late-2023. One of my friends whom I've known (since around 2015) is a part-time employee here as she was the one that referred and recommended me to check it out. And let me tell all of you reading this review, I am glad I did! In addition to the amazingly glowing Yelp reviews, their website, https://underworlddistillery.com/ also has a ton of insight on their business including monthly specials, public calendar of events, bottled spirits (for purchase), an ever-changing menu, and a history of how their business originated. They are also accessible on all major social medial platforms that gives you up-to-date information of present and future events. This is a woman-owned business distillery and I will say that by looking at this place from the outside, I had no idea of what was going on the inside. The inside lounge area is by far one of the most elaborate, sophisticated, and painstakingly complex interiors of a business that I have ever come across. And I say that in a good way as you are wept away in a whole different world! Think of this as being in a haunting dark mansion that represents vampires, witchcraft, ghosts, skulls (protruding from the walls), and a ton of vintage decor throughout. For the full experience, I recommend coming here after the sun sets as being here at night only elevates the dark red lighting with 1930s-inspired furniture. If Halloween was celebrated on a daily basis, then this place has it down to a tee. Which takes me to the drinks! Many of their drinks are named after vampires and other forms of witches that includes "Charybdis' Blood", "Lilith's Daiquiri", "Witch's Cosmo", and much more. Since I decided on a mocktail, I tried their "A Midsummer Nights Drink" which included fresh jalapeño, mint, lime, saline, lemonade, and a dash of jalapeño salt) around the rim of the glass). This non-alcoholic elixir was absolutely delicious with the perfect ingredients to elevate my evening. Keep in mind that they are closed on Monday but are open Tuesday through Saturday from 4:00-10:00pm and Sunday from 12:00-5:00pm. During my visit which was the night of Thursday 7/2/2026 at around 9:15pm, there was quite a few people enjoying their libations. The ambiance is very chill as the mysterious silence of this place only adds to the character. So if you're into something absolutely different from your normal distillery, do yourself a favor and definitely check out "Underworld Distillery". My rating, a unanimous five stars.

I will absolutely go back when time permits. Don't let the location fool you. This is absolutely one of the premier bars in Northern Nevada.

The tour covered the area on 4th Street between Evans and Morrill Streets. We met at the corner of Morrill and 4th Streets, immediately east of the wells overpass. This area has a very distinct and colorful history that I was not aware of. 4th Street went from being a dirt road to becoming a key industrial and commercial road, to a highway. As the road connected east and west cities, it attracted many big businesses that thrived on 4th Street in years gone by. There were even railroad tracks that came right into the area. In that small four block area of 4th Street there were slaughter houses, a commercial brewery and other industries that had attracted the railroad to that area. In fact, the Depot brewery and restaurant, was indeed a train depot and there are remnants of the vault that once was part of the train depot. The door to the vault for some strange reason is in the men's room. My feeling is that it should be on display so all who come in can see it. It is a very impressive piece of history. . We had four staff members from the Reno Historical Society that took us on the walk and explained the businesses that thrived along the 4th Street Corridor and lectured on the architecture of some of the buildings that are still there that are over a hundred fifty years old, the significance of businesses having access to the train, and the evolution and development of 4th Street from a simple dirt road to a major road linking cities east and west until Interstate 80 was built. Along the way we made three stops at 3 craft breweries the first Brewery was the pigeon Head Brewery. the second was the lead Dog Brewery, and the third and final stop was the Depot Restaurant and Brewery. I am a huge fan of the craft beers and each one of the breweries definitely had something to my taste and liking even. it was interesting to go tour the breweries and sample their beers and have an appreciation of the brewmasters' special ingredients and talents as they practice their craft and make us all happy, happy. A very special way to spend part of your Sunday, thanks to the Historic Reno Preservation Society. Check out their website for future tours. Probst!
