I needed to update my review because the prices have become quite high. They used to have a little salsa/sauce bar where you could pick your hot sauce, and pickled items like pickles/onions/etc., but now you have to pay PER item and it escalates quickly. Lately a meal is costing me like 26.00 here and for that price I could literally go out to dinner. It makes it hard to justify coming in lately. TO clarify on the sides, pickles are 1.69 plus 2 small hot sauces at .69 each is another 1.38, plus turnips for 1.39 if you choose. So, yes it adds up. And I've never had to pay for salsa or hot sauce at any other restaurant.

The red sauce was a wonderful blend of mint, cilantro, fresh ground tomato and herbs that gives additional flavor to the already excellent tender melt in your mouth lamb. I really love the flavor of their foods and especially the freshness. The staff are friendly and they seem to have a good grasp on how to efficiently manage a restaurant. Some days are busier than others, but I'm usually in and out if there when I call in my take out order. The dinning area is always clean which is a good sign for kitchen cleanliness.

This is a very tasty meat and I highly recommend this. -mamounia bel eshta 5 - a Syrian dessert. The mamounia is a warm semolina pudding with pistachios and cinnamon. The eshta is a thick, clotted cream with pistachios that you eat along with the mamounia. I ate it separately. There is salty cheese and bread that you eat with them. There's no wrong way to eat it. You can use the bread to put some of the eshta or salted cheese in it. Alternate between sweet and salty.
