The best chicken shawarma I've had! Hands down. My wife nearly lost her mind when she tried my dish so mad at herself for not getting the same. It was juicy, delicious, perfectly prepared. I got it with a salad on the side, which was ideal for me. We also had the Lebanese hummus which was a bit different than the 'traditional' one we usually get but very good in, obviously, a different way. The staff was helpful and on top of things. Kabob Q is another place for this cuisine in Willowbrook. Has fairly good portions on the various preparations such as bowls. The prices aren't bad as long as you don't order a lot. Came while driving by and thought to stop here because we had never been here. It has a kind of interesting concept as it's like it's two restaurants in one. These are connected to each other and pretty much are the same place. On the one side is this with the Middle Eastern food. The other side has pizza. It offers toppings such as falafel. We wanted actual Middle Eastern food so we chose the Kabob Q side. Cleanliness is an issue. Tables weren't cleaned off and it smelled like old trash. Both of us got a Falafel Bowl. It's $7.99 and comes with fries, rice, or salad. This also has the choice of 4 toppings. Among the ones we chose were vegetables that sounded good on it. These included cucumbers and olives. Certainly we could get back here. It has pretty big portions. The place is kind of dirty, and the food isn't as good as other places, and it makes sense that prices are as low as they are here because it's not as high of a quality. read more

*3.5 stars* although I will say that the chicken kebob meat itself is probably a solid 4 stars. We also waited about 25 mins for the kebob to be cooked, but some might like that it was definitely super fresh. Overall, the toppings were underwhelming - hummus, tomatoes, onions, parsley, gardiniera, lettuce and some other unmemorable ones. I really like the staff there and they had a great selection of middle eastern sodas, including a Vimto that my husband chugged down like a 6 year old :) My less picky husband said he would give this place a solid 4. It probably means it's a decent place. I proceeded to go the bathroom and wash up prior to ordering. I kid you not. There were EASILY 8 dead, large cockroaches in the light fixture. There was no mistake in what they were. I looked around like, "Is this a hidden camera show?!" I left. I hate, hate putting small business down. I quietly told the clerk and he shrugged. Chicken Shawarma wrap was not good at all. Their chicken is coated by a mix made by chef according to cashier as I did ask. My wrap was full of that coating with very little chicken. We were looking for something healthier to eat on a Friday night and we found this place. You are greeted immediately with Super friendly service. They are happy you came. Especially if it's your first time here. They made recommendations. I got the Steak and Chicken shawarma combo Bowl with rice. That came with topping options along with the sauces on the respective meats. I got giardiniera, Lebanese hummus, onions and the hot green sauce. It was really good. Reminded me of the halal food we get in nyc. We also got the combo Kabob special--chicken and steak and that was also really good. And we also got fg Falafel ala carte. Then we got a thing of this stuff they call Basbouseh. A dessert which is like a honey almond cake. I can see why it's two $s for price bc it's about $10 per and they don't fill it up with rice. But I was pretty full after my bowl. And the only other thing is that we got each of the three items not all together. Kind of funny. First cake my bowl. Then came the kabob combo. Good food. Awful service. This evening ordered on line and paid by credit card. got email acknowledgement that order received and being processed. however, no indication of pick up time, etc. After 1/2 hour, called to check on order. On hold 7 min. Called second time. told they were checking on it; on hold over 4 min (I was using a stopwatch, so not exagerrating). Called a third time; after a hold, I was told they never received my order. Tho I had a confirmation, an order number and my credit charge posted. When I asked further, i was told I needed to talk with a manager; on hold 7 minutes, then disconnected. A member of our party the went to the establishment with receipt in hand. told they didn't have order And no manager on site. apparently they never checked the computer tablet, nor did they get any signal an on line order was there. No apologies and no accommodation for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, we have tried them in the past and once again, arrived to pick up our food (a phone order at that time) at the designated time, and nothing prepared. My friend and I came after seeing a video on TikTok advertising this restaurant with high expectations. We're currently fasting for the month of Ramadan so we arrived 20 min earlier than our time to break fast. The man at the register who appeared as the owner told us the manaeesh (pizzas) won't be ready for dinner time so we ordered gyros instead. I kid you not, it took 50 mins for our order to be ready and the restaurant only had three other customers there at the time. No apology for taking so long and he KNEW we were fasting. They also forgot to give us a side we ordered so we had to ask for a refund and as we were eating we saw the owner leave with bags of food, got in his Benz and left. It makes sense now why it took so long because he was probably cooking food to take home! I wouldn't recommend this place due to the service and the food was just mediocre. This place popped up as a recommended local spot for me and the photos looked pretty good, so we decided to check it out. The place was pretty clean and quiet, no background music even. Just got the worst meal ever from GrubHub and it was from this restaurant. I had to call Grubhub to get a refund for the Gyros. Ordered two, only got one. The 4 falafels were so overcooked they were inedible and greasy. Had to throw it out. Look at how dark and overcooked, look how greasy the bag is. To top it all off, the guy at the restaurant told us, not to order the Gyros anymore that to order the schwarma. "It's better", he said. What? The one Gyros we did get hardly had any meat on it and it was the preformed meat you get in the Gyros Kits at your grocery store. Finally, the baklava was the same kind you get from Costco, but it was hard, old and stale. Called GrubHub and they are issuing a refund for $5.99 for the missing Gyros. They tried to call Kabob Q about the almost burnt falafel, but after several calls, no one picked up the phone. Will never go here again. The owner just contacted me and was very apologetic. He now knows there are issues. Hopefully, he will fix the quality and service and get it back to where it was. read more

Food is good but too expensive. One wrap and three dinners for appx $75, no drinks and they want you to check at box at checkout to leave a tip, even for takeout orders. I don't think we'll be a repeat customer. Could also be a little cleaner. read more
