First time visiting and the customer service was great! Helped us with the menu and even gave us a taste of the meats we were thinking of ordering: the food is fresh and made on the grill while you wait. The flavor and food were amazing. The amount of food you get and pita is way worth the price for great food: ate until full and had enough left over for work lunch the next day. Will be adding to our favorite foodie spot list! read more

The Best Shawerma - 2. Shish Kabab 5. Combination Plate - Middle Eastern Near Me - Burbank, Illinois

The service was amazing! The food was ok, the rice, falafel, chicken and sauces were great! The lamb unfortunately was dry and flavorless as well as the minced beef... definitely not made to order. Other than that I do recommend this place read more

Food is amazing here. Definitely the best shawarma. Service was quick and easy. The restaurant is a bit small, it's more of a pick up and go type of deal. But definitely worth it. read more

I've been coming to this place for years and it never fails. Ive always had the chicken shawarma sandwich, it's simple and delicious! The price itself is also great and it comes with a can of pop, around 8$. The service is also good, very kind people! It can get packed in there at times, the inside is small but there is an outside area you can eat at. Also, cash only. Highly recommend. read more

Pushing customers to buy more. Owner come out and talk to server in their language in front of customer. And the most importantly, only half of meat than before.... Pbly owner changed... So I'm over here. read more

The food OMG its a mistake gooo !! Im the person that once in a while I would love something outside of my routine and this is once a while -they never fail mee ! I love their rice and hummus !!! read more

This is a whole in the wall joint that has seen better days physically. One of those places that make you question all the sanitation laws but the food is so fire, you forget? Combo plate, shawarma sandwich, and the fries. The fries are perfectly crispy, tossed into a paper bag and seasoned from a jar that maybe has never been wiped clean but is full of absolute magic. The service was friendly, I could see being a regular if we lived closer. Make sure to bring cash! read more

One word AMAZING! This place is worth it. I had the shish kebab platter which came with a very generous helping of meat, salad, two pitas and rice. The meat was so tender and delicious and had such a great flavor. They cook it in front of you and they are extremely friendly. The cooks are very friendly and the girl that was working the counter was awesome. They were very quick and efficient. My fiancé really enjoyed the chicken Shawarma platter. It was cooked perfectly and very delicious. This place is definitely worth checking out. I believe we spent somewhere close to $28. Make sure you bring cash, they do not take card. read more

This was our first time there on a recommendation from a friend. The owner was very nice and we had a nice conversation with him while he was cooking our food. We had shawarma, falafel and hummus. Still the best shawarma imo. So good. Plenty of meat. Very filling. Always leave satisfied. Just wish they were open on Sundays.

People there were really kind and the food was amazing!!! Very nice and calm super fast and the food was so fresh

A restaurant has to be really cocky to name themselves the best shawarma but this restaurant backs it up!!! Really good and flavorful meat!! Truly some of the best I've had. This is one of those hole in the wall places that have amazing food! I have looked at old photos of the menu and I will say that the prices have gone up. Still reasonable but aren't as cheap as they were before. Still very good food! I got the combination platter which cost $16 and it can feed 2 people or 1 hungry person. There are little chairs to sit outside but most people just get the food to go. read more

Meat was a little dry but had decent flavor. Service was excellent as the person serving us polite and attentative although he combined the beef and chicken into two sandwiches when I had asked for one chicken and one beef sandwich. Prices were reasonable so I will be back again. read more

Came to find this place as I flew into Midway for work and was craving Shawarma. Clearly family owned and the gentleman that helped me made me a small sandwich to try while I waited for my order. I ordered Chicken Shawarma Entree and "small" order of Hummus, Jerusalem Salad. Spices were all perfect and Pita was fresh and delicious! I can't identify all the sauces but I ate them all! Waiting for next year to be back and eat here again! read more

The Best Shawerma - Chicken Shawerma Entree with rice, Hummos, Jerusalem salad, pita. - Middle Eastern Near Me - Burbank, Illinois

Omg! This was the best find in Chicago! The combination plate is the truth! I highly recommend it! The hummus is Devine! Highly recommend this place. read more

AMAZING food!!! Seriosuly the best I have had in a long time! If in the area at all, this is a must stop!!

Everything was great. The Falafel were some of the best I ever had. Crispy outside, creamy inside and nicely spiced. The combo plate and shwarama plates were excellent. We got the small hummus, which was like a gallon of hummus for $10. They also gave us a free sample of the lentil soup, which led to us buying 4 more soups for dinner. Don't let the modest building fool you, the food and service are exceptional. read more

My husband has been into shawarma and we wanted to try this place. Normally I wouldn't go based on the name, but I thought I'd give it a try. It was good, not great. The service was a little slower, we waited for about 40 mins for 2 "sandwiches". We had to kind of readjust our sandwich because of the way it was layered to get a taste of everything in each bite, probably typical. But the lettuce and tomatoes didn't seem to be the freshest. The tomatoes were mushy and very bland, the lettuce was dry, just not as fresh. read more

Doesn't look like much since the place is so small, but dont underestimate it! Probably one of my new favorite places for middle eastern food. I went with the combination plate with chicken and beef. It came with rice, Arabic salad, and two pitas. It's definitely enough to split with another person or portion out for another couple meals!!! Everything was SO flavorful and seasoned just right! I will definitely be back!!! *Cash only, not good for groups, seems like take out is a good option since the place is pretty small. read more

The Best Shawerma - 5. Combination Plate - Middle Eastern Near Me - Burbank, Illinois

Based on only the steak shawarma experience, this place does not exactly live up to the name. That being said, it is good, simple and generously proportioned on the meat side. If you are looking for the most authentic Palestinian Shawerma taste, this isn't it. Still tasted good and I enjoyed it. Might go back there again in the future. Cash only place. Don't expect fanciness, the place, the food, and the staff are simple (potentially in a good way). Probably pick up only. read more

The place with the title of "best shawarma" does not have the best shawerma or anything near the best. I don't know who is giving this place great ratings. The meat isn't good. The flavor isn't good. Even the falafel was not good. But my focus is on the shawerma here because after all it is called "best shawerma". I had the beef and the meat was very chewy and lacked flavor. The only good thing here is that the prices are very budget friendly. Also they only take cash which is annoying because it's 2022 people. Come on now. read more

Hit or miss. The shawarma is flat top grilled after it is shaved off the cone. The end result is often a dried out product if it travels. Great customer service for sure! read more

Deliciously prepared Middle Eastern food. With so many great choices in the area this place is great. Parking in back. Small galley style ordering area. Be prepared to wait. The food is made to order and well worth it. Ca$h only. There is an ATM machine with a modest fee of $1.50, if you don't have cash on hand. read more

This place lives up to its name... The Best Shawerma indeed. For $5.50, you get a pita bread filled with meat, I mean stuffed, overflowing, busting at the seams goodness. The pita sandwich comes with a canned soda. Very authentic middle eastern taste. Beef shawarma- tender and uber flavorful. Ask to be cooked WELL DONE. It's stuffed with meat and veggies topped with their special sauce. MUST HAVE! Chicken shawarma - also amaze balls!!! This place is great for take outs although they have 4 stools inside the joint but be careful eating in, you'll smell like a grilled hotdog by the time you're done eating. They have 3 tables outside if you want to eat there. Fast and friendly service, cheap eats, and slamming taste! Will definitely return. read more

On my way back from South Chicago to Bolingbrook, I pass this Shawerma joint. The first few weeks I resisted, but then gave in and went for some Shawerma. I'm so so so glad I did because their Shawerma is the bomb dot com. They do this wonderful thing of sautéing the meat slightly on the flat top grill after they cut it which returns some of its moisture and juiciness to it. Got beef Shawerma for mom, and chicken Shawerma for myself. The chicken was extremely flavorful. According to mom, the beef Shawerma tastes very similar to well done steak - which was a plus in her eyes. A Shawerma sandwich, chock full of Shawerma meat and sauce (they really fill that pita up!) along with a can of soda all for $5.50. Great price, especially since I never finish the sandwich, and always have some left over for lunch the next day! My only regret? Not being able to take pics of the actual food coz I'm always eating on my home from work, and also coz it's delicious!!! read more
