They caught our attention as they were giving out free samples in the food court. I liked it and decided to get the chicken shawarma wrap combo meal. The wrap itself was pretty good, nicely toasted and a good amount of chicken inside. I personally found it a little bit dry for my taste but nothing an extra side of garlic sauce didn't fix. Their fries were delicious, perfectly soft and crunchy and they had a texture to it that really added to the taste. Very nice service and relatively quick, plus you can customize the food to your liking. I'd recommend trying them out!

Chicken Wrap - A partially eaten chicken wrap with a toasted, slightly browned tortilla exterior. The filling includes chopped vegetables, chicken pieces, and a creamy sauce, visible where the wrap has been bitten into. The wrap is resting on a piece of parchment paper, with some filling spilling out. The image emphasizes the texture of the tortilla and the ingredients inside.

Delicious chicken wrap! Great value and quick service. If you picture doesn't do entice you, the food taste WAY better than it looks!

QR Code - The image features a pita bread partially wrapped in aluminum foil and a white paper bag with a green logo and QR code from SemSem Mediterranean. The logo includes the business name and a stylized image of food, suggesting Mediterranean cuisine. The setting appears to be a casual dining or takeout environment.

Always looking for new shawarma places near me. Was happy to find one in the mall while shopping. A healthier option compared to the others, it was on point with taste and quality of meat. Would definitely eat from here again.

Chicken Hummus tomatoes and some other things in the wrap - Two pieces of grilled quesadilla are placed on crinkled aluminum foil on a white table. In the background, there is a white drink container and some food items, including a dish with sauce and toppings. A person's hand holding a sandwich or wrap is partially visible in the upper right corner.

I noticed this place because they were giving samples of a new wrap that they made and it was so good!! So me and my friend got the wrap they were advertising. The workers there are really nice and they were getting quite a bit of business as we were there too, even Uber eats orders. The wrap left me full, so it is very filling. My friend also tried their falafel and said it was good as well. And the price was amazing!!

Protein bowl. But I also ordered the steak and chicken bowl. - A close-up of a salad bowl featuring shredded chicken, chopped cabbage, purple cabbage, and a generous amount of creamy dressing. The salad appears fresh and is served in a disposable bowl, with a black utensil partially visible.

I was Intrigued by the Mediterranean look of the food but the taste knocked me off my high horse from thinking I knew what it was. WOW! I had the steak and chicken bowl and let me tell you, it was fresh and amazing in taste. It consisted of not only red onions diced up but of chicken and steak. I wouldn't think that combination would work but it does. Tomatoes were friesh and I believe it had some sort of fluffed up rice. Very good in texture but very good in look also. The guy who served me my plate was meticulous in how he made it and for being a fast paced area, he took his time in how it was presented. When I asked him why he did it this way seeing as this is a fast paced mall, he simply said: If you like the presentation, the taste will bring you back since we eat with our eyes first. Wow, that was the right answer. He made sure I had not only my cutlery (plastic set of course) but that I had any condiment that would enhance the flavor. How thoughtful of him to think outside of the box for someone who is new to this restaurant/kiosk at the end of the mall. I was happy as well as content with the food and I have already gone back 4 times. Never disappointed. Try them out and you will see.

Total $15.60 for single bowl and an 11.5% tax rate.. - The receipt is from SemSem Mediterranean located at Chicago Ridge Mall, Illinois. It shows a purchase of one shawarma bowl costing $13.99, with a subtotal of $13.99, tax at 11.5% amounting to $1.61, and a total of $15.60. The receipt includes cashier details, date and time of purchase, and payment method. It also provides a Clover ID, payment ID, and a link to the privacy policy.

The food is totally overpriced and not worth it!! Service is okay as one of the two times i've gone (as i think every restaurant should get a second chance) i got a nice servicing sir. Although the second time a girl took my order and was rolling her eyes when i asked for the spicy rice, not sure why. If you don't have a budget and can spend $16 on a single bowl with 80% rice and 20% chicken go for it!

So we have to go into Chicago twice a month (work thing), and I always make sure to stop for shwarma. I once lived in Ottawa, Ontario, the capital of Canada, which was more of a patchwork quilt than melting pot. Near the center of the city was an open market for goods from around the world surrounded by culinary restaurants from all the world's options. My favorite place to go was a Lebanonees place who had the upright skewers of beef, chicken, and something else. I was dubious at first but tried it with the garlic sauce and pickles to go with my steak shwarma. It was love at first taste. I had never tasted anything so delicious in my life. Since moving back from Canada decades ago, I've searched for that perfect shwarma that excites my pallet like the one in Ottawa. All I had found was cheap imitations or something that wasn't even a shwarma, until I found SemSem. They always wear gloves from what I've seen, the food is as authentic as that Lebanese restaurant 20 years ago, and the wonderful woman who's always behind the counter putting the food together. She remembered us I think by our 3rd visit, and you don't need to see her mouth to know she's truly happy to see you and smiling a genuine smile. She's always fast moving and every movement in the making of the shwarma wrap is practiced'm, fast, and perfect every time. If ever you want amazing Mediterranean food, go here, you won't find anything better closer than Canada, and the wonderful woman who works up front (who's name I've forgotten) will certainly brighten your day. But don't forget the baklava, one of the best I've ever had and definitely the best in over a decade. But seriously, check them out, amazing food, amazing people, amazing place, and all tucked into a tiny place next to the movie theater entrance.

I ordered, paid for the order, then my wrap was being prepared. I see the worker putting the finishing touches on my wrap, crisping it on the grill.. so I wait to be handed my order. While waiting, someone else comes in.. orders and pays, customizes their bowl.. receives their bowl ....and then is given an extra bowl that a customer didn't pick up and was told it was to make up for the "wait".. meanwhile, the worker who made my wrap has long disappeared and my order has been sitting on the grill. That person who came in after me, has now left. I only received my order a few minutes after that. Btw there were no other people in line waiting. Just me, standing there for over 15 minutes waiting on an order that was done. Also, the way I was talked to was not okay when I was asked was 'said bowl' my order. So unfortunately, this came across as racially motivated, since I was treated as less of a priority. And it's really rare that I feel that way but... this was a weirdly rude experience. Will not be returning. Thank you for my meal.
