    Zatar, Falafel Bowl

Falafel Bowl is so good my fav. So yummy. The Zatar is perfection. 10/10. Yummy! :) the Falafel Bowl is my go to. It has everything I need to get me going. The Zatar is delicious the spices are so good and fresh and the olive oil is really flavorful and quality. The Falafel bowl has a variety of flavors and textures and blends perfectly together in a bowl. The Falafels are the topping on the cake. So good.

The steak shawarma was very underwhelming on the website it promises a flavorful steak/Perfectly seasoned and it was neither of those things it literally tasted like noting to me.

We dine here to celebrate our classmate & friend birthday. The food was excellent. Everyone had a different meal and Amina and her staff were absolutely great. If you are in the area stop in to enjoy some delicious Mediterranean food.

Sunday, I had the pleasure of eating a late lunch here. The outdoor patio scene was perfect for catching up with old friends. The right kind of intimate but open airy setting. The waterfall in the background made the scene so picturesque. The food was okay, nothing above average. It was a bit lukewarm, not hot like I prefer it. I also wish they had more drink options like diet or zero sugar. The staff was welcoming, but one waitress in particular was a little too obsessive. She kept interrupting our quality time, trying to provide samples of some kind of lemonade. After about the third visit to our table, I became annoyed. I also wish they provided table servicing for guest dining in. The overall beauty of the restaurant was astonishing. I just loved the indoor piano and how all the staff were wearing either Hijab or Taqiyah. I will certainly dine here again.

Very good food. Went here for the first time and got a platter that was big enough to split. The space was clean and fast service.

The salad and hummus came out within a few minutes and the food itself was actually very good. No water given at this time. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. We waited almost an hour for our main entrée, had to ask for the water again, and the Nutella shake we ordered was never served at all. Our server was not attentive throughout the night. One more thing to watch out for -- a 15% tip was automatically added to the bill, so make sure to check before paying. The food was enjoyable, but the poor service really affected the overall experience.

Pot of Arabian coffee was fresh. The meat in the mixed grill was alright. The waitress was ditzy and not too attentive. When the waitress wasn't anywhere to be found I asked the bus boy for two to go boxes, he gave me a mean look and didn't speak. The waitress didn't serve water for my guest and I. Also she didn't ask if we wanted any dessert. I found better restaurants with much better service in the area that's where I will dine at in the future. Also the waitress didn't offer my guest and I any water or asked us if we'd like any dessert.

We came on a Saturday night around 7 pm and we were able to find parking immediately. To be clear, the parking area is kind of tight and cramped. If you can't find parking here, you can try seeing if parking is available in the neighborhood or next door. Inside Al Manakeesh, they have a plentiful amount of tables. You order at the front, receive a pager, and wait for your food. They have additional drinks in the back. They are known for making Middle Eastern flatbread pizzas and kaaks (bagel). Customer service was great. They were very efficient at making the food and drinks. Everyone was nice. No one was pushy when we ordered our items. Prices were good, they were inexpensive. We ordered egg/meat/cheese, pepperoni, mixed meat bagel, sfeha with tahaina, and zaatar/akkawi cheese/cherry tomato. Honestly, everything was a 5/5. I liked that the pizzas weren't floppy and none of the ingredients slid off. The portions were huge. I also got a peach matcha. After mixing it, the peach taste was very noticeable: -The pepperoni tastes cleaner and more flavorful than the American places. For some reason, the American ones are so greasy and oily. -For the egg/meat/cheese pizza, the egg taste really stands out. -Sfeha is halal ground beef and has more flavor than regular ground beef. The tahaina helps make it pop. -The zaatar/akkawi/cherry tomato is an awesome combination. When you take that first bite, you'll immediately taste all of the ingredients. It's that prominent. -The mixed meat kaak has halal turkey, halal roast beef, halal salami, mozzarella, Mexican cheese, and their signature sauce. They give you two cups of sauces. One I think is the signature sauce and the red one is a little spicy. The portion is big enough to share between 3-4 people.

However, the service was a major letdown, specifically with the person at the register. She didn't greet us upon arrival and just stood there, which was off-putting. Her rude behavior and lack of customer service skills made the overall experience less enjoyable. While I appreciated the quality of the food, the restaurant needs to invest in better customer service training, especially for those at the front of house, to improve the dining experience for their guests. Will not be coming back here for this reason .

It was pretty good, the best part was sitting in front of their fire oven they use to freshly bake their soft pillowy bread they use for their sandwiches. The bread was definitely the best part! Usually shawarma sandwhiches are in a wrap, but these are so much better. As far as the beef, it was good, not my favorite as far as flavor wise, but still pretty good. Fries were literally exactly like McDonald's which are the best. Glad to have tried this place for sure.

I decided to park next door at the McDonald's to avoid the mayhem. I walked into Nashmi and no line to order, however they did have 19 people working on one line, and yes I counted! After seeing that, it made me really think these guys must be busy as heck! Ambiance was nice and very clean! Tables with high top seating across the windows. Would not be an ideal place to dine in with a large group so something to keep in mind. As I approached the register, I was greeted and told I would be taken care of shortly! So far so good! I decided to order the "Nashmi Chicken Combo". I was told it was a sandwich that came with chicken tenderloin, flame grilled and served in a house made bread with garlic and pickles. Combo meant it came with 2 sandwiches and 1 order of fries and a drink. However, I didn't get my drink, it was such a confusing pickup process and no communication on to grab a soda or not. I spent $14.99 so for that much food, I guess the drink can be overlooked. I received my order, walked back to the car and now the food. I don't get it. Chicken was bland, bread was good but small, the overall sandwich was just nothing special. Maybe 5 pieces of chicken total in the sandwich. All I really tasted was the garlic sauce, which was phenomenal by the way, but I came here for the protein and the chicken was just underwhelming. The fries were equivalent to McDonald's but they were good, not seasoned or salted but still tasted good. Hot sauce was average. I ate one sandwich and felt terrible that all I ate was 80% bread and 20% chicken. I don't even eat the second sandwich. Overall not sure what everyone is waiting in line for or what this hype is. This doesn't even come close to the other middle eastern shawarma shops on Harlem Ave. I can understand if you have a very weak palate or cannot tolerate too much spice or flavor but a line out the parking lot is kinda crazy for this.
