We loved it! Dad insists its the best gyro he has had in his life so far. Which I would agree. Of course we could have been starving but it was so good!! And the sweet workers there were dealing with the Christmas Fest rush and taking it like champs!

Came here on the weekend and didn't have that long of a wait. I got the gyro plate (I think that's what it was called) and it was okay. The meat was really dry and the naan bread that came along with it was also not fluffy at all and was also very dry. The salad also wasn't anything special. I think the rice was the best part of the meal since it wasn't super dry like the rest. Was fast and convenient though.

Stopped into the Armory for a quick lunch and Kabab gave me just that. The gyro was just okay (lacked seasoning) but those Greek fries were it. Even though they were a little underdone the garlic and feta boosted the flavor to new heights.

Delicious Mediterranean place, good salad with gyro meat and excellent fast service. Located at Seattle Center. Convenient for a fun snack!

I'm surprise the spot like this doesn't get a little bit more love. We came here recently when we were looking for something without tons of carbs but with a lot of flavor. Grilled meat, grilled veggies and some hummus equals a happy papa! Interestingly, they didn't have mixed Kabobs with both meat and veggies, but rather the meat skewers and veggies on the side options. The lamb, beef and chicken were all quite good and worth the higher than it should have been price. End of the day, it's worth a few more bucks to get something outside of a standard burger that tends rule these sorts of locales. Good - yep, great - nope, what we were craving - absolutely!

Purchased the falafel sandwich and it was so good and vegan friendly! Very satisfying. Friendly staff and order came out quick.

Ordered one Chicken Gyro with side of Hummus and Medium French Fries, to-go. Was served Lamb instead of Chicken, and a small cup of runny liquid "Hummus" for $2.50. Will not be dining here again. Total bill: $19.00...

I made the worst mistake by not checking Yelp reviews before ordering from here. Actually, it was my son who wanted to try their food and he ordered a combo meal that included beef and onions over rice, hummus, salad and pita bread. Everything except the salad was inedible, and lacking flavor. The meat was grisly and hard to chew. The onions were mushy and did not even taste like onions at all. Everything just didn't seem fresh. My 11 year old kept having to spit out the meat because it was really unpleasant for him that it almost made him gag. The hummus was bland and somewhat runny, the worst I have ever eaten. Goodness gracious, how are they even in business. I definitely learned my lesson not to eat somewhere without checking with my fellow Yelpers first!

Falafel platter made gluten-free without pita and salad dressing instead of tahini.

Decent Mediterranean food. The chicken kabob gyro was amazing and the babaganos was delightful. We enjoyed this while traveling to Seattle.

Terrible food - cashier rude! Greek salads should have feta cheese on them. When you ask a question you should not be treated poorly

The girl working was rude. Food was mediocre at best. Yellow rice was good but gyro meat was dry.

Ludicrously slow, average food. Left feeling annoyed that I'd wasted time and money here.

Ambiance is awesome! Lots of people so make your reservations like us. We ordered a shared appetizer - pita bread and all 6 kinds of toppings hummus, tzatziki, and all they offer. Each one of us had an entree ranging from lamb burger, chicken, mushroom and lamb kebabs - all so good. It was so tender and tasty. Enough to fill us. Love it! So good! Kebabs were served on a hot plate. Nice presentation. Service was outstanding. Good attentive service .

This is a lively place, always filled with a lot of upscale looking customers. So the atmosphere is quite loud, but fun in a buzzing way. We were seated quickly, as we had reservations. Our server Charlie, was engaging, friendly and on top of things. We ordered the shared dips---olive tapenade, eggplant, hummus, tatziki with some warm pita triangles. They're all good and a fun way to start the dinner. We each had kebabs---lamb, chicken and mushroom. All good, moist and tender all poured with a jig of ouzo on a hot skillet. The onions in the bottom get browned and crusty, so good to eat. One had a lamb burger which looked juicy and served with delicious mound of fries sprinkled with rosemary. Food here has always been awesome. Skipped dessert as we had homemade cookies to eat at our next stop.

The batinjan (eggplant) and labneh wrap here has now taken its place in my pantheon of best…read moreeggplant bites I've ever had. Yalla is a walk up window, and there are just a couple of benches right outside where you can eat, and according to other reviews you can also go to Montana Bar next door with your food. The menu is posted in a couple places right next to the ordering window, and it's pretty easy to parse. Almost everything there is what I'd consider a "portable food", meaning something you don't need a plate, fork, and knife to eat, which makes sense given that it's not a sit down restaurant. They have veggie saj, meaty saj, mezze, a few sides, and a dessert. I really like their concise menu. We tried the baba ghanoush ($9.5), which comes with saj on the side, a batinjan and labneh saj wrap ($12), and a halloumi grilled cheese (halloumi grilled inside saj, $13). As you can tell, the saj underpins everything at Yalla, and their saj is excellent. Warm, soft, flaky, and tearable, it is perfect for both dipping and wrapping and grilling. The batinjan and labneh wrap is bursting (literally) with tender grilled eggplant, a rich sauce, and tangy, creamy labneh. It is truly one of the most delicious eggplant dishes I've ever had. The halloumi grilled cheese definitely hits the spot, and is more filling than you think by looking at it. Baba ghanoush is so smooth and flavorful, and I love the pomegranate seeds on top! The folks who work there are super nice, very friendly, and food comes out quickly. Prices are very reasonable, and I will definitely be back to try some of their meaty saj! This place is going into my regular rotation, for sure.

This…read morewas exciting to me as I enjoy food from the Middle Eastern part of the world, and the entrees do look very enticing! We went on a Saturday around 2pm and it wasn't too busy at the takeout window. The restaurant is only takeout - there are benches right next to the takeout window, but there are only enough spots for 8 - 12 people (2-3 people per bench). The only other seating is at the nearby street seating offered by the neighboring bars, which I can see being restricted during peak hours. Parking can be very difficult if you plan on driving, there is only street side parking that is usually full, and nearby paid parking in lots. Service is fast, after we got our order, we only waited 5-8 minutes for our food. We got their recommended Soujouk (Beef) and Cheese Wrap for $16. The wrap is long, I would say about 13 - 14 inches long, and I can definitely seeing most people getting full after enjoying one of these. The flavors are nice and you can taste the spices from the sausage - I could taste cinnamon front and center with other earthy spices lingering in an aftertaste. The wrap is very decadent, the cheese is hearty and indulgent and that with the spiced sausage and textural difference with the cucumbers is pleasing. Do note with how indulgent this wrap is, you will accumulate a ton of oil in your wrapper as you enjoy it - a nap afterwards is in your future if you eat a whole wrap! I think that Yalla Seattle is a good stop to try these cuisines in a casual manner and the price is reasonable. There are some other items on the menu that kept my attention and I would totally revisit to try the other items offered by this restaurant.
