Wow. Been here twice so far and it's really good. They have a great self serve salad bar with all the typical kimchi and yummy treats. Instead of serving you small portions you can get exactly what you like and as much as you want. There menu is huge and we always get the cook it yourself because we love to try new things. The cooked for you is just is good if you don't want to cook. The waiters are awesome and change your grills and drinks frequently. Lunch specials are amazing and it's a huge place so the smoke is not even close to overwhelming. Great staff, great food, and really nice place. My new favorite Korean restaurant for sure. read more

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Antelope Valley. The prime brisket is always fresh, and sometimes it is a pink snowstorm of marbling. The beef bulgogi is always outstanding. The pork belly, spicy or non-, is also delicious. My one miss was the octopus- tough and somewhat fishy. The beef radish soup is another unconditional winner. The mandu dumplings are delicate and savory. Personal favorite condiment: their spicy mayo. On request you receive sesame oil (Kadoya brand) which is good enough to drink all on its own. The tabletop grills are meticulously clean, and the granite tabletops are a nice touch. I've been here half a dozen times, and this restaurant has proven to me a rare and excellent quality: It has been consistent in being this good. Unconditionally recommended. read more

I will never go to this Korean bbq again the service is terrible and the employees ignore you the owner said that's why he has buttons to click for service, that would be nice if his employees would look at customers instead of just walking by and ignoring them.My family and I waited 1 hr before we got our meat. First of all, the patio looked as if hundreds of people stepped in mud & tracked it in which should have been enough for my boyfriend & I to walk out. But we wanted to try a new place. We were seated right away & the server explained the menu. The pricing is bizarre & it's way overpriced for the taste of the food. We ordered the thin pork belly which was just okay & the bulgolgi which was absolutely disgusting. The seasoning & texture was so bad, I couldn't even swallow it. They charge half price for all children under 7 regardless of them eating or not. House rules listed above the tables reflect that children 4 and under are free. These rules are outdated and do not apply. Unfair to be charged $119 without tip for 2 adults and a 3 year old who ate rice/ 5 year old who did not eat at all. Came here on a Friday night. Tried to call to see if they were open because we had a power outage and we lived close. No answer but I think it affected their phone line. We ended up going to checking it out. It is a large place and caught me by surprise. They seemed understaff on Friday as our server was running everywhere. She tried to help us as best as she could. The salad bar was empty especially for Friday. There were barely any sushi pieces. They don't have the typical sauce of oil and salt and pepper to dip your meat. Or no rice paper. Went to K-Bob yesterday (holiday) after not being there for quite awhile! The food was delicious, the waitress was exceptional, very friendly and attentive! My only complaint was they charge $19 for the buffet because of the holiday! Why? There was no special dishes, like sushi, which I know they have had in the past! So what warranted the higher price? This was me and my husband's first time coming to this restaurant and we will DEFINITELY be back. The interior decor was inviting and clean which is what caught our attention at first. They have AYCE options and an open buffet bar with soups, sauces and veggies; free to get food items to personalize your eating experience. All of the servers were attentive and so friendly, and there is a "call" button on the wall of your table that alerts the servers you need assistance if you need them a moment they are not around. No purple or weird looking meat here no no no!!! The pork belly is delicious, my favorite being the marinated pork belly . The buffet options are outstanding!!! I never write reviews for Restaurants I visit. I just feel like I need to write this to get the point across & warn people not to waste their money at this establishment. I went to K-Bob with high hopes considering it had outstanding reviews. After experiencing it myself, I can say that this is the WORST restaurant I've ever eaten at . A few days ago I headed to K-Bob with a close friend of mine whom isn't from the states. We are both active duty military and I wanted him to have a good Korean BBQ experience in America. We entered the establishment and there was no one to greet us and finally after 5 minutes a young girl approached and quickly explained the menu. We chose the buffet option thinking it was the best choice. We picked what meat we wanted and went to the "buffet line" to select our side dishes. The choices were little to none and they were not labeled, I mind you. I glanced around the restaurant and noticed there was hardly anyone in there. Maybe 3 tables of people including my friend & I; which seemed a bit alarming since it was the "dinner rush" and this was the "spot" in town to get Korean BBQ. My sides I selected were horrible and I'm not even sure what they were . The meat was mediocre, nothing worth complaining over, until the end we ordered pork belly strips . We were served frozen pork y'all . And anyone who knows anything about grilling knows not to grill frozen meat. So we put it on the grill anyway and the meat started to melt and water went everywhere taking what little flavor it had. (By the way this place had no soy sauce or ponzu Sauce or seasoning at the table) once the meat kind of started to cook it turned a horrible grey/white color. We flagged the waiter down and explained we were upset and not satisfied and she said we could get a discount if we spoke to the manager . He came out and talked to us . We were cordial and he was quick to get offended and angry and lied and said the meat was fresh. He starting stirring the meat on our grill and ignored all our concerns and urged us to keep eating, and turned off the grill and walked off in anger . The meat wasn't cooked yet either since it was frozen . At that point it had been grilling for 6 minutes and everyone who likes Korean bbq knows the max you grill something for 4 minutes . We got up and followed the manger telling him we didn't want to pay for this after our poor experience, poor service , and being served bad meat. AND the fact he urged us to keep eating even though our food wasn't done cooking yet. We remained calm and polite but this man child wanted to keep arguing , stepping closer to us , and being condescending. He sarcastically claimed he was sorry, which he was not , and wouldn't give us a discount due to our disappointment. So I went ahead and asked if they offered military discount and he barked at me "no I'm not giving you people a discount of any kind ." Morale of the story is I think these people write their own reviews lol. But I have never been treated so badly somewhere, or yelled at by a manager for no reason . And we weren't compensated at all. If you want some good Korean BBQ just go to Santa Clarita even though it's a bit of a drive. Don't waste your hard earned money on a sad excuse of a restaurant such as this one. read more

I took my korean mom and boyfriend to go eat the other week. By the way, the whole table has to get the same package so we all went with A. So, with A you can order already cooked food from the buffet menu (fried rice, shrimp tempura, etc), get things from cold/hot buffet in the middle of the dining room (like soup, salad, rice) and order the meat you want to cook at the table. We ordered bulgogi, spicy squid, marinated squid, thin sliced pork and pork belly for meats to cook at our table. We were really excited about the bulgogi so we ended up abandoning our plan of trying everything first before ordering multiples and ended up ordering three orders to start...It was a mistake. The meat was super extremely in your face sweet. The marinated squid, I don't know what it was marinated in, but it didn't taste like anything. We asked for gochujang on the side to make it palatable and even the flavor of the gochujang was not right. The thin sliced pork and porkbelly were pretty good. (The meat doesn't come seasoned but salt and sesame oil are on the table and sauces are available at the salad bar portion of the buffet.) The banchan were either bland or okay. Seaweed salad was tasty and we got multiple servings. We didn't try the soups. For the already cooked items: the shrimp tempura were good with a really light batter. I don't remember the wings being good or bad. The kimchi fried rice was...horrible. The flavor was not good, and it had a lot of random veggies like green beans and corn?? We finished everything because they charge for leftovers and let's be real here...we were not gonna pay for those leftovers. Our server was nice and helpful. She was there when we needed her. So I have no complaints with service. But food is what we came for and none of us would go back. ALSO, there is a senior price on the menu, however, that doesn't apply to the sets. The food was absolutely amazing such great quality!!! Our server was extremely nice and very attentive with everything. I will start by saying the food was good. The beef and chicken had good flavor. The fried rice was not the best and was mushy. Everything else was not too memorable and was basic. The atmosphere was nice. The service was decent. The waiters made sure to inform me that a to go box was $9.99 per pound of food. At that moment I realized this place was a rip off. Although, the prices being blacked out on the menu should have been the first red flag. I took my 6 yr. Old niece out to eat. I asked if we could share since she wouldn't eat much and I was told kids under 7 get half off but they have to have their own plate. Again, that should have been a red flag as well. We did enjoy our food and I felt happy because my niece ate her food and she can be picky at times. Also, our order did come with a decent amount of food. I would have been happy with this place and gave it 5 stars if it weren't over priced. I mean the food is already crazy expensive and to charge for a to go box for food I paid for is insane. They literally have a scale at checkout to weigh your left overs. Mine weighted 0.6 lbs. so I was charged $6 to take my leftovers home. The place definitely was not worth the $80 I spent. The servers don't even bring you silverware and plates. You have to get up and grab PLASTIC UTENSILS and plates from the buffet. Why am I paying $80 to eat at a place with plastic utensils???? Also, each table does not come with its own sauce. You have to get up and use the sauce from the buffet. The food is good but honestly, I could've went to the Korean BBQ place in Palmdale and had a better experience. They have good food as well, better prices and more food options.
