Food was amazing, service even better and it was our first time at a Korean BBQ and we will be back!! Yummmm!

I'm writing this because the quality of the food and serving size has progressively gone way down. We ordered the LA Rib bowl with steamed rice and had it delivered by Doordash. For $21.00, NEVER again. The rice was what you would expect from a place like this, way too much. The ribs are even a more pathetic serving for $21.00. There was hardly any meat, but no shortage of fat. Normally I wouldn't write such a negative review, but this place has gotten measurably worse in the past month. $21.00 per bowl (we ordered 2 bowls) is a scam. $42.00 for 2 people can very easily be spent elsewhere. read more

I made a reservation via Yelp, went super smooth. I even called ahead to check hours and they were very friendly. Tucked in a corner of the Lancaster Marketplace. The food.is about $40 a person and up, depending on what plan you get. Loved the BEEF BULGOGI, My hubby enjoyed the thin pork belly. The plain rice was good. Miss was good. The fried rice was.... different, kind of tasted like pop corn. The endless meat trays and sauces were fantastic Bathrooms were a but dingy but cleaned up.. Cheapest AYCE is $39.99 per person, for that price and with only 4 other tables, you'd think service will be a little faster but it's not. Our grill is just left burning because meat took forever and they bring out too little at a time, when you ask, they'll say you have to finish what's on the table, when there's literally nothing left. ‍ We ended up being in a bad mood when it shouldve been a celebration. read more

Jasmine was the server. She was great super attentive. This is Lancaster's little hidden gem! All the important stuff like the lettuce and sesame oil that a lot of spots tend to skip. And they were super friendly, even though it was just me eating by myself, most of these spots, turn their nose up when you walk in by yourself. But anyways, yeah, great spot hit it up. Enjoyed a celebratory dinner with hubby last night! Meat offerings for the Korean BBQ were fantastic as always, but noticed some dishes from the banchan bar were missing. The marinated fried tofu slices weren't there.. and no japchae? Not having japchae is like a burger joint that doesn't have fries or chips. I was even willing to order on the side, but sadly it's just not available. I hope the owner reconsiders. If too much is wasted on the banchan bar, maybe add it to the "K-Buffet" where it has to be ordered specifically in controlled portions? Place was neat and clean. I'll start off with the good - the service is very friendly and attentive. I have nothing bad to say about the staff at this restaurant, they took great care of us. No banchan set was preset on our table (if this was done in response to prevent inevitable waste and non-consumption of banchan items, then I understand). A number of banchan items were available in the buffet island, but variety seemed extremely limited (I suspect this may be due to the conspicuously different demographics of the customer base I saw here compared to the typical SGV/K-Town KBBQ). Which, I suppose is not a huge problem if you are coming here with the intention of solely consuming as much meat as possible before getting asked to leave. In addition to the standard fare of raw meat, the staff will also bring you cooked items (e.g. fried shrimp) to your table from the kitchen. Menu pricing seemed to be a bit on the high side for a KBBQ eatery in LA County - $39.99 for the bottom tier AYCE, $49.99 for the upper tier AYCE. As a simple and objective metric of comparison, OO-KOOK of San Gabriel (at the time of this writing) charges only $36.99 for AYCE dinner (single tier), which includes access to L.A. Galbi and Octopus (menu options which are only available at K-BOB if you pay for the upper tier AYCE option). It is unclear if the disparity in pricing is due to the differences in volume of competitive options in surrounding areas, logistical/supply chain dynamics, volume of customers, and/or other reasons. The adjacent parking lot is massive, and you should have not difficult finding space to park your vehicle. All things considered, although admittedly not the most impressive KBBQ I have been to (due to the relatively high price and limited banchan options), it's still a viable option given the relative lack of alternatives in the area, and I would be open to returning here (particularly given the outstanding service we received). read more

Tonight was the second time we've tried this restaurant, the first time being with a large group for some in a few years ago but we were in the area and decided to come back since it was decently rated but we were disappointed. The food just wasn't great and we ordered the BTS box to go that has the different meats and rice along with another bulgogi bowl and they put the wrong meats in my box. All of them had some weird "spicy" red sauce that wasn't spicy but kind of like a ketchup tomato thing and the bulgogi was not flavorful at all just seasoned with salt. The decor and avoidance is fine and the service was okay, just the food isn't great but the few times we have visited lancaster we haven't found any good Korean restaurants. I guess we are spoiled by living in OC where there are so many great ones. read more

We got the all you can eat cooked meat as we didn't want to cook the meat. They give you whatever and however much you want on the menu. We indulged on the shrimp tempura, chicken katsu, and chicken teriyaki. They were all good. The choices on their buffet table weren't much, we were hoping to get some fish cake which is common on other Kbbw places. Service was fast and servers checked on us often to make sure we get what we wanted. Ambiance was just okay, nothing out of the ordinary. Amazing Korean bbq! Only 4 stars because they don't have rice paper which is so heart breaking. Everything else is AMAZING and delicious. I love the pork belly and brisket the most. Servers change your grill frequently and it's easy to get a server to your table because of the convenient button at your tables. I would definitely recommend! read more

Around 330 Sunday afternoon me and my family were helped by a professional today but didn't get his name. We'll be back just because of this gentleman with a tattoo on his forearm I think he was a busser. Meanwhile we were ignored by the only waitress there. He stopped bussing just to take our order and drinks. The whole time we were there the only waitress ignored our table. Mind you it's not our first time here. Totally recommend this place. The vegetables are fresh. The pickled veggies are delicious and crisp. The meat selection is really good although a competitor has better tasting boneless short ribs. However I prefer coming here over that place on 10th street west I. Palmdale. Our server was nice, great demeanor and very attentive to our dining needs. The cleanliness of the place was great and the bathroom was spotless. She changed our grill twice, refilled our drinks and asked us if we needed help at our table (not the salad bar), !!! She totally deserved her tip and the staff cooking made sure all the ingredients were fresh and delicious tasting. I really enjoyed dining here. Only reason I will knock off 1 point is because their competitors boneless short ribs were hella tasty and here they were good but not outstanding. Tried this KBBQ place yesterday but was not impressed. The online menu offers lunch special and other options but the place did not even open until 5:00 pm when the dinner prices started. The menus in the restaurant do not show the take out options so we had to look at it online and placed order inside, there was no formal host so multiple people came to sit other customers in and did not attend us. Finally after we placed our orders we saw o. The receipt that all new prices were about $5 more than online prices. Did not get a chance to ask because again the person who took out order never came out again. After getting our order about 20 minute later we noticed my wife's bts box was wrong as it had spicy sauces on all the meats, which she never ordered. We did not want to wait another 20 plus minutes to see if our order would be corrected and decided to try the food. Meat was super salty, the sauces were the only thing that made the food better. The only thing that increased the star rating was their kimchi rice, it was tasty but also a $3 up charge. The venue was big but the space was not payed out well, the lobby looked like a better dinning area. read more

One star is over doing it.. terrible customer service, haven't been to Korean bbq in years and my partner never been before it was her first time. We had no clue there was a "call button" it was not explained to us upon arrival even though she asked us if it was our first time here. Our "server" , don't even know her name, she had brown hair in a clip and wears glasses , she works at night.. terrible service, she started off super cool and attentive by explaining how the menu works and bringing out the items of food but then after that, I don't know what happened- everything went down hill from there. She completely forgot our drinks , waited for 30 min, had to ask her where are drinks were at- we had already started eating and were thirsty by this point. She comes back w/ the drinks. We noticed a group of people come in , the servers appeared to know one of the guys, he went up to the register so we assumed he works there and was off duty... our "server" went back and forth to his / his family's table numerous times bringing them food, drinks, all kinds of stuff I would say she checked on them every 5-7 min while she blatantly walked past us countless times, did not even ask how we're doing, if we need refills on drinks, more food? Anything ! We literally sat there while she walked back and forth to her "friends" table. At this point I got sick of Waiting for a refill on my drink that I got up and filled up my own drink.. we were only asked 1x during our 1.5 hour time there if we were doing ok or if we needed anything. The second time , we we had to flag her down.... Eventually we got tired of waiting and asked another server, "Shy"? For our check (she out of all the servers there was so sweet and actually Listened to what our concerns were, great employee ! Great customer service .. she deserves a raise. :D !! The manager came by our table, he was not really much of a help. All he did was make excuses for his server and even went to check the register and had the audacity to accuse us of "lying" that we were not getting good service!! We told Him check the cameras. He said we have 15 entries on our tab which indicates to him that we were getting constant service which is not true. Keep in mind 3 out of 15 entries was our drinks LOL. So just because he saw 15 entries does not indicated the server was doing her job coming by to check in on us yet was going non-stop back and forth to her off duty friends ' table serving him and his family. Then he tried to say that our server is not our only server, all the servers here help everyone.. which doesn't make any sense because we observed other servers Sticking to their designed assigned tables. We paid for $50 all you can eat ( so that's already $100 for 2 ppl) and the server only came back to check on us 1 time..like I said the 2nd time we had to flag her down ... manager came back, he asked , why didn't we push the call button ?.. we had no Idea there was a call button because server didn't explain it to us... it was also covered by a napkin. Manager offered us 10% off for the inconvenience which is ridiculous because we paid for all you can eat $50/per person and only got 2 servings.. imagine going to an all-you-can-eat buffet and only getting 2 plates of food, that's what happened with us. Bull crap! Eventually we received our check but rest assured we will never be returning ... not worth $100+ whatsoever and mind you it was confirmed the family that was being served was in fact an off duty employee who brought in his family , the manager said that to us lol dug himself an even bigger hole.. you'd think theyd give their customers that "top tier" service but no.. will not be coming back, and if I did , I will make sure that girl is not my server. read more

...Such a hidden gem... If you want to take a first date or hang out with friends this place is an exceptional spot. I love this restaurant because you have the choice of ordering cooked korean food or you can cook your food on a grill in front of you. I love how you have an option. I came here one afternoon since I was in the area for work. I wanted korean food and thought I'd yelp something. Yelp took me here. 1. Food- I thought the food was pretty tasty. They have a lunch special all you can eat menu which I thought was pretty decent. Reminds of being in Koreatown (Los Angeles). I love how in the middle of the restaurant you can help yourself with several different types of korean side dishes. They also have an American salad bar if you are not that adventurous. They sell alcohol too!! 2. Service- the service was amazing. I came here during lunch. And the staff were super attentive. They were always checking up on me and other tables. 3. The ONLY downfall, the location. Before you get to this restaurant, you pass by a typical Chinese buffet. Unfortunately, not many people are familiar with "korean bbq". After waking up at 6.00am in the morning and dashing out to the Antelope Valley Poppy Reserve and a few other wild flower stops, I was quite hungry at 1.00pm. A friend who lives here recommended this place and I was glad we came here. This place was very spacious and not crammed like Korea town places and there was no hip music blaring loudly overhead. The price was comparable to K-town and the choices of meats and buffet items exceed my expectations of a non K-town bbq. I had a very enjoyable meal and the taste was authentic and good. There were also ala carte items for the smaller eater which cost less. I would consider returning if I am ever out here for the day. read more

I came here with my 2 siblings we had not seen each other for a few months. We wanted to catch up and hang out. They have never been to a Korean bbq restaurant before so I thought this was perfect. We all got the $35.99 all you can eat. It includes items from 1-14 on the menu. It also includes all you can eat appetizers and a buffet bar that has sauces, seasonings, veggies, and rice. I got a green tea and my brother and sister had a soft drink. We ordered a lot of food. After every round the servings got smaller and smaller. The first time we ordered Brisket it came with like 20 pieces of meat. The 3rd time we ordered it it came with only 6 pieces. Brisket has great. Chicken was cut too thick so took to long to cook. Bulgogi was not good quality. Many pieces were tough and inedible. We also order a to go order for our mother. Our bill came out to $147. They had a QR code on the receipt to paid on your phone. I paid and my siblings left a $30 tip We are walking to my car and one of the servers a tall, round, white boy chased us down and he held the tip that we had given and yelled "where is the rest of the money!" I was livid! I showed him the notification in my phone from the restaurant itself. He went inside to check it was true. I will never eat at this restaurant again! I have never been chased before that was absolutely terrifying and embarrassing. Why have an option to pay by phone if the servers will not review the online system first? I cannot believe we were treated this way in the antelope valley or all places! The server turned a good afternoon with family into an absolute racist nightmare. When I came home I had food poisoning. Avoid! There are better places in LA, IE, SFV, Hollywood, Korean town, and Ventura County. read more
