This is a great spot to satisfy that sushi, beef or steak craving. One of my favorites here is their Aguachile steak which is savory and rich full of flavors. I visited Xevichez for the first time, my usual go-to sushi place was closing for the evening! I sat at the bar and my chef was Kevin (I learned his name through the girl at the bar next to me that was speaking very highly of him throughout my entire visit, with slightly aggressive undertones). I ordered the albacore, yellowtail, and octopus sushi and lobster hand roll, paired with a Sapporo on draft. Kevin was very hospitable, knowledgeable, personable, and professional through the entire visit, it was in fact the best seat in the house (as mentioned by the girl next to me). The sushi was excellent, the fish tasted very fresh. What piqued my interest (and why I will be returning) was the flavors! From what I gathered their target demographic is the Hispanic population (from the name) and the flavors were very indicative and rooted in cultural Hispanic dishes, with lots of zest, tang, and spice. Plenty of parking in plaza. Outside of the restaurant was very bare and may be confusing about if you're in the right place. The inside of the restaurant was very spacious and clean. The music wasn't too loud for a bar, allowing you to have a conversation. The staff were really friendly and check on us a few times without being too much. Didn't like that the menu (physical and digital) doesn't include the price. Just assumed everything was $20. Got the Dynamite Shrimp, Tiger Roll, Dragon Roll, and Rainbow Roll. The Dynamite Shrimp was really good, reminded me of the Walnut Shrimp dish. Would reorder the Dynamite Shrimp again. Not a fan of the Tiger Roll, the sauce tasted too much like the cheese from nacho cheese. The Dragon Roll was too sweet and made up of tiny shrimps. It was alright and fun to eat. This spot caught me a little off guard. The concept--Hispanic‑inspired sushi--sounds creative, but the execution didn't quite land. We stopped in after a nearby concert on a Saturday night. We are older (almost 40-almost 50) and the crowd here late night was definitely younger than us. Right when we got there, A guy was getting kicked out by security. My husband used to own a bar, so we have seen it all haha. We decided to stay. We ordered a few drinks and edamame. We enjoyed the Yuzutini. The kamikazee was really good. The bartender looked like Bad Bunny (I don't remember his name), but we thanked him for being young and knowing how to make a kamikazee haha. A lot of younger bartenders make them wrong. We only stayed about an hour but we had a good time. I enjoyed the music playing, but late night is definitely for a younger crowd. read more

I rarely leave reviews, but this place really needs to work on its service and management. The food is mediocre at best, and it always takes forever to get our drinks and meals. The only good thing about the night is the live music (on Thursdays), but even that starts super late -- around 10 PM, which is way too late for most people during the week. To make things worse, my friend had to stand for nearly an hour because there weren't enough chairs at our table once someone else joined us. I asked for a manager, and he said, "I'm the manager." When I told him we needed a bigger table (he clearly saw my friend standing there), but he just said "BRB" and never came back to fix the problem or offer any kind of solution. Thankfully, our waitress noticed and kindly brought a chair herself -- she was the only person who seemed to care. Between the long waits, bad food, and poor management, I definitely wouldn't recommend this place. The only reason I keep coming back is for the live music -- but unfortunately, I have to prepare myself to deal with bad service every time. read more

This restaurant is HUGE. The inside was very clean and the atmosphere was welcoming with music playing in the background. The service was great - our server was very attentive. Some of vegetables in the tempura appetizer were uncooked (raw vegetables with fried batter). I mentioned it to the server for the next guest and she did offer to bring another batch but it was lunch and didn't have much time. The yellow tail at this location is so yummy. The drinks are also delicious. You gotta be careful because they really they put they pour heavy. I'm here for it. The service is nice. We always have excellent servers. The ambience is nice. The food was really good however I did a pick up order for a Friday around 3/4pm. It took almost an hour for one single roll. There were maybe 20 people tops in the large restaurant, and employees were kinda just standing around. I preordered so I could stop on my way to pick up my boyfriend from work, but it took so long, I had to leave and ended up late to pick him up, then still had to drive back to get my food; which then was kinda soggy and weird. It was good and I'm sure fresh it would have been great. But an hour for a roll when they're not even that busy is a bit insane. I looked forward to this place but won't be back again. read more

Came here for the first time yesterday. Our server was very helpful, attentive and informative. The place is pretty roomy inside and clean. We ordered the shrimp empanadas, crazy boy sushi roll and the shrimp noodles. The empanadas and the sushi roll were 10/10 I would definitely order them again. They were so rich in flavor. The shrimp noodles were a 3/10. It was sweet and I'm not used to my noodles being sweet so the flavor threw me off. I added some sriracha sauce which helped but I don't think I would order them again. For drinks we ordered an old fashioned, La perdida and tulum. All three were 10/10. Drinks were very savory! Friendly staff and ambiance is contemporary and wide open. It appears they cater to more alcohol sales (large bar). Nothing wrong with that, just wasn't interested at 11:30am for a drink. It was surprising they do not serve simple "iced Tea" I had to settle for water as I don't drink soda (who doesn't serve Iced tea?) Ordered App of Baked Muscles; oily and chewy. Entree of Rattlesnake Roll and Lobster Roll. Lobster roll was just ok... not bad, but not top shelf. Rattlesnake Roll was very tasty, the best of the meal. I decided to end the meal with an order of Yellowtail Sushi. It was 6/10 in quality and portion. The Ladies serving were (GiGi & Liz) outstanding and friendly. I am a little bias because I lean more toward traditional Japanese Sushi, but over all, fair prices and reasonable. This place is a cool spot in Palmdale. Mexican infused sushi. Kinda what you see in Sinaloa Mexico. Everything was good from the ambiance, service , food and price. The one thing that stood out and was a strong 9 out of 10 was the Net York Steak Agua chile. Only thing I wished it was a little medium rare and not well done. The table was a little sticky. This place is a COMPLETE SCAM!! Take my advice and ALWAYS check your bank account before leaving the restaurant. Always ask and keep your receipt. The day I went I was charged for 2 different bills , they charges me $200 plus my bill. Thankfully I checked my account before leaving because I saw when they grabbed my card since I had an open tab. I told the manager, he said I would get my money back a few days passed and I hadn't had my money back , I had to go back there in person again. I arrived to the restaurant around 3pm on Valentine's Day and the restaurant wasn't packed and the ambiance had an open floor plan and they had mariachi music playing which was appropriate for a Japanese/mexican restaurant. I ordered a coke, two spicy tuna handrolls and an order of the (3)shrimp tacos. The food was good, not amazing but tasty and affordably priced. The service was okay at the best. I did have to wait a while for refills and a 15 minute wait for sushi (which I found weird sitting at the sushi bar), but not ridiculously long of a wait. I did have to wait 20 minutes to finally get my bill after requesting it 3 times. All in all, the food was average, the prices were what is to be expected; total bill was $40 read more

Today, my coworkers and I met up for lunch to do our Secret Santa gift exchange. Our server was sweet, but different people kept coming back to the table. I'm not sure if they were other servers or runners, but I felt like we were relaying the same messages to them and they still weren't able to communicate with one another as to what we requested, or needed. They do have a Happy Hour that starts at 2 o'clock, but we weren't informed of that when we arrived at 1:30pm. I thought the food was overpriced for what they offered. This place has a big club vibe and the music was played quite loudly- even for lunchtime. We had difficulty hearing all of the servers that came to our table. They had to repeat themselves because of the noise level. None of our food arrived at the same time! There would be at least 15 to 20 minute intervals between one person being served versus another person being server. The restaurant WAS NOT FULL. I deliberately counted how many people besides us were there and it was a total of 12 people, including a couple of guys at the bar. When we were about to pay, there was no one in sight. It took us at least 15 to 20 minutes to get someone's attention to pay our bills. It still took another 20 to 30 minutes to figure out how we were going to pay because they already added the gratuity to our party of 7 people. I don't recall anyone saying "Thanks for coming" or "Thank you," or "Happy Holidays" when we left. They seemed to be too busy prepping for dinner service instead of paying attention to anyone there for lunch. I won't be back. read more
