Food was great. We tried chirachi bowl.. not on menu by the way but host and hostess made it happen. Mario our sushi chef whom always goes above and beyond to insure that the food and service is the best it can be. Mario should be head sushi master in my opinion. This was his first time making this work of art and it was awesome. Two thumbs up Mario for stepping up to plate. HOMERUN!! Thanks yoshi team. Se ya soon.
Yoshi Sushi was a delicious experience! They do offer All You CaN Eat, which is good to know, although on our first visit here we decided to come during their happy hour. When we walked in we were told to choose where we wanted to be seated. The place is spacious and clean, very welcoming. We ordered the Monster and Lexus rolls along with the Yoshi Combo lunch special. They have multiple lunch and dinner specials. All the food was delicious and tasted fresh. The food was shared between my wife and I, and we both felt satisfied. I wanted to try another roll, but I realized my eyes were becoming bigger than my stomach, and decided we'll have to return.

So we started off visiting them when they were doing their soft lunch and to be quite honest, we were not impressed with the food. However, the service was 10 out of 10! So glad we went back again to try them one more time. Now that they have their full menu and bar open. Service is still a 10 out of 10. They treat their customers like true guests and make you feel so incredibly welcomed. We tried four items off the menu yesterday: 1. UFO appetizer - this was delicious. Very generous portion. Great for sharing and very creamy. Wonderful flavor. 2. Cherry blossom - this it's not something we usually would order, but we pleasantly surprised. This role had a really nice to fresh flavor. My only suggestion would be a sauce on the role something light and citrusy with a company it perfectly. 3. Crazy horse - this roll is so big. It could honestly be two rolls in one. What we liked about it was it had a real crab in it. We are not fans of imitation crab. 4. Sashimi salad - this was delicious. I will probably order this every time I come back. The dressing on the salad was lovely. Plenty of fresh fish and wonderful flavor. Be mindful that this comes with the dressing on it. So if you think you may not eat it, I'll ask for it on the side. I love it when you walk in. You also have the opportunity to sit wherever you'd like. The staff works very well together and making sure that you're taking care of. And it is a lovely, clean, fresh, vibrant environment. * small note the rolls are very large with a wonderful balance of rice to fish. Just be mindful to order less than you normally would on your first visit Looking forward to our next visit!
First time here and definitely not last! They have plenty of options to chose from snd the best is that in the brings they have happy hr until closing time. The portions are generous for being a happy hr menu, they were fast and super friendly. They worked fast to get us seated even when it was busy. The place is spacious and they have an area which I am sure you can reserve if want a private gathering for a special celebration. Highly recommended and will be coming back!
I visited the Grand opening of a new sushi restaurant in Palmdale, Yoshi Sushi. This restaurant is located in a very busy shopping center, and so it may be difficult to find. But it is right across from Target and is next to Baskin N Robbin's ice cream. The restaurant has a very wide open dining area. It also has a separate dining area for large groups. As you enter into the restaurant, you will notice the sit down sushi bar. The staff greeted us and we were instructed to sit anywhere we liked. Luckily for us it was Happy Hour! Their Sushi menu had a good selection. We opted for the Lexus, Palmdale and Rainbow rolls. We liked the Lexus and Palmdale because these rolls had shrimp tempura in the center and it gave just the right amount of crunchy. What I did find to be unfortunate was the fact the seats had no cushions. So become prepared.
It's good, however can be better. Had light kick not strong but spiced blend. Con; Size! This is a very large size. Priority was packed in avocado and meat. Concerning when full mouth is overly consumed you can't taste the layers. Near the end however you can tell the separation of seaweed to rice. Layers are an art but that was one big avocado and packed minced fish.
We've got our food over an hour ago, and the waitress hasn't checked on us ONCE. I had to stop her twice to ask for refills. When I asked for lemon, she asked if I wanted wedges or slices, when I asked for wedges, she said "OK well it's going to be a few minutes since I have to cut them" umm ok? And then get this- they CHARGED me for them!!!!! We we're here for almost and hour and a half and not a single check in. I even had to ask for the bill myself.
So glad there's finally an AYCE sushi place again in the AV! It's a little bit different from a normal all you can eat sushi but still totally worth it! So the way it works is you get two rounds off all you can eat. But even though it's only two rounds you can order as much as you want in each round as long as you finish all your food. There are about 5 rolls that are considered specialty rolls and you can only order one per person in the first round and the mussels you can only get two orders per person. Everything else you can order as much as you want! The quality of the seafood is really fresh and tasty. They give really large portions of fish and not too much rice on the nigiri which is good. Watch out for the rolls though, they'll creep up on you and you'll be full before you know it! The rules are tasty but you get full pretty quick. The restaurant itself is pretty nice, it's in the old Harbour Sushi location. The one thing I really like about this place though is that they don't force everyone at the table to do AYCE which is prefect since my wife and daughter only eat about a roll each while I can eat way more. If you want to do AYCE for about $40 try this place out! Totally worth it!
STAY AWAY!!!!!!!! I came here yesterday for the first time, only to be served with really bad food poisoning. I got a roll with yellowtail in it. At first, I thought maybe the combination of the ingredients made it taste different? Nope!!! They served me really bad fish! I WILL NEVER step foot in here again nor will I ever refer this place to anyone! One star because the staff was exceptionally nice. Otherwise, most definitely doesn't deserve any stars.
My chicka and I went for a much needed girls day out for catching up. We did the all you can eat. And let me tell you we got our fill! The service was quick, kind, and impeccable. The rolls were fresh and literally swimming on our plate. We loved all our rolls. We did have 1 roll that came out really really hard to chew I simply sent it back and the server explained it was no problem. I really did try to eat it but I didn't want to break a tooth. It was fried and I think it sat a little too long while I enjoys my other roll. My time here was so much fun and I will be back with my hubby who too can eat some sushi! The restaurant itself was very clean and calm even during the lunch rush the ambiance was relaxing. Not too loud. :)
Glad to have this new spot open and near home. I want to be selfish and people not finding out about it, so I don't have to wait to be seated!! It's delicious food, everything feels and tastes fresh. Great presentation in each plate. Quick and cordial service from everyone in the restaurant. This will be our "sushi go-to place" every time we are craving it.

Came on a weekday night. There was plenty of parking in the lot. There was no wait and the dining area was pretty empty. Happy hour was all day, everyday for take out or 3 to 5pm and 7pm to close for dine in. Got the happy hour rainbow roll for $9.75. They ask if I wanted ginger and wasabi when I placed my order. Food took about 5 minutes to be ready. Seemed like they forgot the ginger and wasabi I requested. The sushi tasted fresh and delicious. It was a great price and I would come back again. Went to Yoshi Sushi on Wednesday first time. I hadn't had Sushi in while. New owners at this location and I kinda shied away. When I walked in I was greeted and asked if I was having AYCE? Me: Nope ... I asked my waiter if the Itamae could make me something special -- I love letting chefs get creative. My waiter was super sweet and translated everything since the chef mostly spoke Japanese. I told them I like lemon and spice, and the chef checked my spice level using hand gestures, which honestly made the whole thing even more fun. He made a roll with lightly cooked fatty tuna, avocado, shrimp in the middle, and just enough heat to make me happy. It was so good I basically inhaled it. Treated myself to a small pineapple sake and had a great lunch overall. I'll definitely be going back. read more

Popped in for a late lunch on a Monday so it was a lighter crowd than usual, service was fast and attentive. I ordered a salmon gone wild roll, a salmon hand roll, and smelt roe sushi. Serving size 5/5 Plating 4/5 Value 4/5 Quality 5/5 Menu variety 4.5/5 Will be back! read more

Went on a Sunday during happy hour at 7 and the vibe was great. Food was delicious and service was pretty fast. The server was really helpful. There is also an AYCE option which cost at around $40 a person. We decided to stay with the happy hour menu and it was so worth it. Rainbow rolls were my favorite but forgot to take a picture. They were so fresh! read more

Lunch on a Saturday is great here. Lots of seating. I ordered the two item AV special with the Heart Attack roll and the fried monkey brains. It was very generous. He had the Salmon gone wild and loved it. We could have easily shared the special and been happy as well. read more

Hands-down the best sushi experience we've had in the Palmdale area! My wife and I visited Yoshi Sushi (off 10th St West) for the first time, and we didn't mention we were first-timers until the end -- but our server, Nolan, treated us like regulars from the start. He gave us a warm welcome, walked us through the menu with clarity, and even gave a brief background on the restaurant which made the experience feel even more personal and thoughtful. The service was top-notch, and Nolan's attention to detail, knowledge of the menu, and friendly attitude made the entire visit truly enjoyable. The food? Absolutely fresh and flavorful -- everything we ordered exceeded expectations. This visit easily puts Yoshi Sushi at the top of our list for sushi in the area, and we'll absolutely be returning soon. Thank you, Nolan, for making our first experience such a great one -- your service made all the difference! read more

Service? Fantastic. Parking? Free (always the best flavor). The sushi and rolls were fresh, colorful, and plated like they knew they were about to star in a food magazine. Miso soup and salad did their jobs well, and the rolls packed enough punch to make me forget how quickly I inhaled them. Now, the kids' plate... let's just say those two little rice balls looked like they were guarding a single piece of beef that had seen better, juicier days. Still, the place is fun, the prices are fair, and the sushi alone makes it worth the trip. Bring your appetite--but maybe not your hungriest kid. read more

Quick disclosure, we found out this place just recently opened and seemed more like a soft opening. They didnt have baked or fried options...yet. So we tried their handrolls and sushi/sashimi. In just a few words, Very Fresh, and their rolls are big! They are not stingy at all with the thick cuts of sashimi. We ordered their Hawaiian roll, wild zebra, salmon roll, California rolls, salmon sashimi and yellowtail sashimi. Every option was beautifully presented and equally delicious. Their ambiance was tranquil and their service was fantastic. We found out they also have all you can eat and a Happy Hour! Looking forward to going back once they are fully up and running and the other options are available. read more

The service is excellent, the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food is very delicious and there are a lot of options available. The ambience is cozy and spacious. All You Can Eat (AYCE) sushi for $34.99. Since they're recently opened they don't have their alcohol license and they don't serve hot food. Only fresh rolls for now, but I highly recommend this spot. My husband and I ordered the AV Special. I got the one for $23 which comes with: 1) a salad or miso soup 2) chicken teriyaki, gyoza, or baked mussels (choose 2), and then 3) 2 sushi rolls from a limited menu. My husband got the $27 special which has everything in the $23 special + 1 extra roll. We walked out of there STUFFED - it's so worth the price! The service is fast and you can tell they actually care about their guests. The interior is also a huge upgrade from the previous sushi bar - it's bright, open, and modern looking. We love this place! The service is always so on top of it, and they are always so friendly and they check up on you at the right time for the right amount of times. The music selection is always great and the layout is nice. They have takoyaki now! They're so good! We ordered the (from left to right) Nixon, Jalapeño Crunch, Palmdale rolls. read more

You can order from the happy hour menu for take out all day. You can also dine in for happy hour between 3 to 5 and 7 to close. We are currently waiting for our beer and wine license but should get it sometime this month. We should have some…
