The dry and thin BBQ Chicken (A)
    Gilbert S.

First time trying this place. It was hard to communicate when placing the phone order. Had to re place my order when I arrived. Bought a kids bbq chicken plate a Rib plate and a 3 meat combo plate. The ribs are decent but the chicken and other meat ordered was just horrible. Meat tasted dry and burnt and the chicken was dry and paper thin. Couldn't even enjoy my food. Place is as every other location plenty of seating and parking. I don't think I would come back

I expected this place to be not very good but I gave it a shot and I'm glad I did, it was delicious. I ordered the CC rolls and they came stacked.

Food is great love it everytime the lady at the front is rude me and my boyfriend were baffled the way she was talking to paying customers.

    Chicken and Ribs Combo

Good food chill atmosphere. The Jalapeño Sushi was the bomb. Ribs and chicken are ok. They were served with white rice, macaroni salad with a mountain of shredded cabbage under the meat. I was hoping for steamed vegetables under the meat. Nope just half a box of shredded cabbage. The Macaroni Salad and Sushi were the stars of this show. I generally don't like spam but the Spam Musubi was good. The short ribs are hard to chew and the thin cuts of chicken lacked the Hawaiian Flavor. The dipping sauce was good, kind of a sweet soy teriyaki sauce mix. Had more of an Asian flavor. Was hoping for that Hawaiian flavor I got at their Palmdale Location years ago when I last went there. Definitely will go back for the Sushi.

Our favorite place to get Hawaiian food in the AV the fried spam masubi 10/10 is my favorite i love spam masubi so having it tempura fried makes it even more intriguing definitely must give it a try if you've never had it! The crab rangoon is savory and sweet you get a good amount for the price 7/10 the seared salmon roll pretty good 8/10 rating and the bbq chicken with rice & mac will honestly never disappoint here lets be honest 10/10 for me there will always be different opinions but this place is great to us service is fast and the inside is also great!

I used to love this place, but on Saturday I got food poisoning. It was the worst feeling ever . I am better but never will be ordering from here

    Hard dried up Chicken Katsu.

Ordered the chicken katsu and mahi-mahi combo. Fish was fresh and tasty, katsu wasn't. Hard dried up chicken pieces. I guess yesterday's left over chicken? Don't get the pollo katsu!

Great food, great service, great people here. My go to is the Cc burger or the bbq beef and short rib. Poke bowl here is also very good.

Got the mixed platter with extra sauce and a Smash Burger with potato wedges. The mix platter was pretty good, yellow rice, flavorful chicken and some lamb. The hot sauce has like a Smokey flavor or something, I'll probably ask for it on the side next time but overall it was good. The burger was bomb, the meat had a bit of crisp on it, and the flavors were perfect. Also got the Superman and it was sweet af, I couldn't do it lol but I can see why people like the fruit punch/lemonade mix. Service was outstanding, everyone was nice and attentive. The guy let me try their secret sauce that was also good. It's a small spot so standing room only, order ahead and pick it up, they get packed during rush.

This bright restaurant certainly fit that description! We were impressed by the Hawaiian feel and decor right from the start. We were welcomed so warmly by the young manager and his staff. He explained the menu and some of the options and also that Thursday was a discount day if you ordered a dish that featured chicken as the main protein, because it was Thursday. My partner chose a chicken bowl on a bed of coconut rice (12.99) and I chose the combination chicken breast and shredded luau pork plate (17.99) also with coconut rice, and a delightful mix of sautéed broccoli florets, diced zucchini, onion, and finally shredded carrots. There were four accompanying sauces to sample. I liked a combination of the spicy teriyaki with the pineapple teriyaki. The Sriracha was too hot for me because I'm a wimp when it comes to hot things, and I just didn't love their peanut sauce very much. I think the recipe could be reworked. But I liked that they offered peanut sauce as an option! They also served us a tasty Hawaiian style macaroni salad made with cavatappi pasta. Portions were large, and I love their presentation for dining in, especially the angled bowls. Even their take-home was in high-quality reusable plastic containers , showing the care they gave for even the smaller details. Dessert options include an individual pineapple upside down cake (4.99) and choice of large size chocolate chunk or salted caramel cookies (2.99). There was a serve yourself drink station. Because my partner had the chicken protein he was gifted a free drink. They have locations also in Simi Valley and in Ventura city. The Palmdale location has been opened already for 17 years! We plan to come back here again for certain the next time we're in Palmdale. Plenty of free parking as it's part of a large shopping area, but easily seen from the street. So in short, this was a great find!

I've come here for years, and the food is always great!! A few of my faves, the macaroni salad, pulled pork sandwich, chicken bowl with coconut rice or noodles, Caesar salad... my husband has had a few of the seafood dishes and he's never been disappointed either. The service is always excellent, everybody is nice, so welcoming right away, and the food is always incredibly fast. I mean, I'm able to come here on a 30 minute break, get my food and eat, and still have half of my break left. The outdoor patio, and inside seating is comfortable, clean, and well kept. BLEH!!! If I could rate zero stars, I would! So I was in Lancaster for an interview, right?…read more Wondering how I would adjust to this place if I were to actually get an offer, I looked for anything that might have reminded me of something familiar. As I'm cruising down the street, I see a sign. Lancaster might just be OK after all. "Aloha Hawaiian Grill". YES!!! That's what's in order, a plate lunch! As I enter the empty establishment, I make a conscious decision to NOT choose impulsively from the menu. Approaching the counter, I ask for an extra second to think. "I'll have the Kahlua Pork", I said to the man behind the counter (owner). Who, by the way, is not from the islands at all. He's from Santa Clarita. =/ That should have been my first clue, huh? He was nice enough to bring my food to me while I sat at a table. Hhmm... My Kahlua pork was more cabbage than pork, but OK, I can deal with that, as long as it's delicious, right? Whoops, they missed on that one too. It was not good. After the salt, it was simply bland. Perhaps that was the reason for the salt. Also, if you know me and my affinity for Hawaiian food, you'll know that I save the macaroni salad for the end. Oh no you didn't!!!! This crap was nasty! I don't have ANY idea of what they had in there, but it tasted like the macaroni was stale. It had this nasty taste that I had to get a refill (Took it, I wasn't going to pay for it at this point) in order to wash that nastiness out of my mouth. DISCUS TING!!!!... and I rarely make that claim. Oh, and when I visit a Hawaiian establishment, I expect the background music to be... oh, I dunno... HAWAIIAN?!?!?!?! Donna Summer's, "Last Dance", though a timeless gem, just didn't sit too well with me. Save yourself 10 bucks and don't go here. Bad, bad , bad!!!!!!!
