After the first round of meat came we realized the portions were much too small for a party of 6. The ratio of meat to person was ridiculous. It was barely enough for 4 ppl. We're the other 2 people just suppose to watch? And while they do have buzzers to let the servers know when a party needs help, they don't seem to care. We rang the buzzer multiple times and it didn't make a difference. We were practically invisible. No server ever came until we asked to speak to the manager/owner. Who came out but was of no help. K BOB was the place, me and my husband stopped by when we craved for Korean BBQ. Side dishes were tasty and so was all-you-can-eat meat. Their meat was different from all other bbq places we have been to. It wasn't flat but it actually had meat flavor. They also give you an option to choose side items like kimchi fried rice, dumplings, fried shrimps and etc We ordered fried shrimps and they were super fresh:) The lady owner was sweet and friendly as well. First thing I noticed was how solid of a layout with the sauce bar and side condiments readily available the center of the dining area. Really appreciated the appropriate plating and dishes for condiments, side dishes, and sauces. Like the tray with two sauce holders; little details matter. Rice and miso soup is constantly stocked in the same area too with whatever utensils you'd want to use. Service to get seated was quick and the price was fair given the area was middle of nowhere and unexpected location really. Coming from the bay area, this was quite the pleasant surprise to come across. The meat quality was great and unlimited variety of appetizers was a bonuses. A hidden gem in the AV that is worth checking out! One of the BEST places to eat in the AV and for a very reasonable price. We have been back with family and friends with all of them loving the experience and wanting to return in the future. FOOD: Great food here! Given the minimal competition in the area, they didn't necessarily need to offer such quality for the price. But they did! I wouldn't say this compares to the Korean BBQ's down in LA, but it's close. The meats are marinated well and there's a decent selection to choose from. Some of the meat options do have a bit more fat than I'd like, but it's only a minor inconvenience. The included bar and side dishes (if you get the AYCE) are surprisingly good for being unlimited as well! The fried rices, for example, are even cooked fresh to order, and are very tasty! CUSTOMER SERVICE: Always friendly people! I haven't had a problem with anybody here. The staff seem proud and happy to work where they do! PRICING: Great value here! All of the AYCE tiers come with the buffet and unlimited side dishes, which makes for a really good deal. Never been to this place before but I've Gotta to say it was pretty damn good. The food was delicious and the fact that you get to cook it at your table is a very interesting. The only thing I did not care for was the rules are kind of strict, you were not allowed to take food home any food that you do not eat you get charged $$, So if you decide to go and make sure that you eat all that you have. I went with a group of friends and there was a total of six of us the the bill was close to $250. Highly recommend if you want to try a bunch of different food. I didn't get his name but he seemed like the manager... he was very accommodating with the heaters and 2 stoves for our party of 6. There was only one other party on the other side of the store (outside). He and the busgirl were attentive and quick with service. The manager helped my mom set up a barrier with the fire of their stove because the wind was blowing it, and he also provided complimentary hot tea. So if your with a party of 3 and all 3 want beef bulgogi. Make sure you order 3 orders of it. The salad bar is exquisite Great to be exact. The waitress was an older lady. She was nice. My boyfriend and I decided to give this place a try since we were heading home from Barstow. We got there around 5pm and it was so empty. I wasn't sure if they were open yet but they were. It's very clean inside. We did AYCE bbq and buffet. I definitely love the concept. Unfortunately, they didn't have sushi available at the time but everything was delicious. It's nice that Lancaster has something like this. It's a convenient location if you don't want make the drive to LA. However, LA has a ton of kbbq.
