I hate to leave 3 stars but I gotta be honest..The chicken leg was very overcooked and dry but the wing wasnt dry. All I had to start was the leg however when I cut up the thigh it was kind of juicy. The sauce was on the bottom of the chicken in the container so it did not cover the chicken the way I thought it would, with it being barbecue chicken and all. The baked beans however 5 stars, the beans were really good. The macaroni and cheese was OK. I did get the peach cobbler which was amazing. They have chicken sausage on the menu so I will give this place another try with the chicken sausage. read more

Friendly place. They can improve on a few things. Good portion or ribs, the ribs are big so 5 stars in that. The ribs are well seasoned and rubbed well, however they taste like they've been left on the bbq too long or the smoke of the charcoal bbq has infiltrated the meat. The rub tastes good, the sauce is hella good but then the Smokey bbq is overpowering the meat. The chicken, kind of dry but seasoned well. The mac and cheese are delicious, however I can tell they were microwaved and not fresh, because a few chunks of it were still in chunks, verses new Mac and cheese you don't get clumps stuck together. The baked beans, some parts were cold ish and some warm, so I'm thinking it was microwaved?? Unsure but again, great tasting. If they can get their foods to be fresher they'd make a killing. We will be back because it does taste good, just a few improvements needed. read more

Now yall know I had to hit this review with a fresh 5 stars because the FOOD IS BUSSIN! I haven't had anything this good in a really long time my sister and I got really curious because we wanted some ribs or some sort of soul food and came across this place on Yelp. Immediately fell in love the moment I tasted it. The flavors are there for sure. I will say I was dissatisfied because the meals are supposed to come with Bread and two sauces on the side and we didn't receive that at all but it's not a big deal. Now that peach cobbler has me in a choke hold forreal! I didn't get it but my sister did and so I tried it and omg I fell in love immediately! When I tell you I'm going back for more I mean it. Customer service was great, ambiance was nice and clean. Didn't see a BBQ outside so not sure if I'm tasting liquid smoke but other than that the taste of the ribs and sausage were ok. But the sausage was burnt and hard and they drenched everything with BBQ sauce. It almost seem like we got the last batch of the day. I think they have potential. We got there about 4 hours after they opened and they were already sold out of the tritip and brisket. Potato salad was really good and so is the mac and cheese. I tried the greens but didn't finish, it was VERY salty (you couldn't eat it by itself, tried to eat it with rice but it was still very, very salty). So happy to have a real BBQ place finally. The hot links were everything you'd expect. The mac and cheese was really good as were the baked beans and potato salad. Ribs were very meaty. I coulda done with some sweeter sauce after a while but that's probably just because everything I had was spicy so it just became overpowering after a while. Pretty good portion sizes for the price considering the current market. If I have to spend $50 to feed two people at least its good food and not McDonalds or Subway which cost just as much right now. So after seeing all the posts about Leeka's Rib Crib decided to check it out today. Drove from Palmdale out to Lancaster. Waited about 20 minutes outside for them to open. Tried calling there phone are not working., As we're sitting there waiting for them to open we see the exterminator guy going in and out of the restaurant several times. (RED FLAG) A customer trying to open the door. The Exterminator guy told her that they were closed today. A few minutes later someone puts up a sign they will be closed today. I really think it was disrespectful for them not to notify the customers who were Waiting for them to open 11:30 that they would be closed. One lady was waiting over 30 minutes. read more

When I drive from Palmdale to a restaurant in Lancaster I'm hoping the food will be exceptional. I ordered the ribs with greens and baked beans.. I would've gotten macaroni and cheese, but they ran out. That's why I'm giving them a four star rating. You should never run out of your signature side dish. Overall, the food was very good. First of the reviews and pictures are a lie. I ordered the rib dinner thinking it was going to be delicious but it was the complete opposite. My ribs were stone cold? How does that happen. The Mac and cheese was crumbling like it was wax. And the baked beans and peach cobbler was as if it was microwaved. The outside was tub it was in was warm but the inside cold? I spent 50 dollars here and I threw away all the food. Took a bite of each and tried it again and I just couldn't swallow. 1 star because the girl in the counter was nice. Very disappointed. Nice char on the ribs, while the meat was still juicy enough to fall off the bone. I like the owner asked if I wanted the sauce on the ribs or on the side; that was courteous to think that a customer might need to go somewhere professional after eating. The macaroni and cheese was delicious and the greens were crisp and not too salty, but still flavorful and not drowning in juice. The ribs were a decent size, and my eyes were actually bigger than my stomach when I ordered, so I couldn't eat everything in one sitting. Even eating the rest later, it was still amazing. I truly feel like I have been ripped off and scammed. Beef hot links were hot, but I had to finish cooking them, hard to get raw sausage taste out of your mouth. The Ambiance is not much to look at it's a takeout joint. My family ordered the 4 rib dinner with macaroni & cheese, potato salad and added the peach cobbler. We also ordered the links lunch special with greens on the side. Both meats was drenched with a heavy liquid smoked sauce. The mac & cheese and greens was okay. I will not be ordering the above mentioned items again. With that being said let me tell what they did excel in their potato salad and peach cobbler was everything and more. Just know you'll wait about 30+ minutes. The service was friendly but it seemed like a lot of chaos, tomfoolery and disorganization going on.
