I can't recall the last time we were greeted so warmly!! The entire staff here is top notch!! They're attentive and extremely hospitable!! Sometimes you dine at a place cuz the food is soooo good!! Sometimes you dine at a place cuz the service is sooooo good!! Rarely do you find a spot that offers you both!! Jus Joes has captured my business for good and I encourage all of you to drop by and check this place out for breakfast or lunch!! I recently tried Jus' Jo's for the first time. Food is 5 stars for breakfast, but for the overall entire experience I give a 3. The service was very friendly. We came on a Sunday and it was about a 30 minute wait - but this is standard in Fresno/Clovis for a weekend breakfast. We waited 10-15 minutes more than originally told. Inside it is VERY loud and you can hardly hear yourself think - this is a buzz killer for me. I can handle it for dinner spots, but in the morning, the last thing I want is an extraordinarily loud environment just as I'm starting my day. Like I mentioned, the food was really good, some of the best I've had around. They use real eggs which a lot of the breakfast spots don't (they tend to use pre-mix for scrambled). The iced coffee was overly sweet and probably wouldn't order that if I were to go back (it's a pre-mix so there's no having them change it). Overall a decent experience, but I think I'd rather go to a quieter spot for my French Toast and Hashbrowns. read more

Came to Fresno to see Book Of Mormon and on the way home the next day we stopped at Jus' Jo's for breakfast. Yelp was right, this place is awesome. My chili verde breakfast burrito was huge and definitely the best chili verde I've ever had. Hubs had fluffy egg whites, perfectly crisp bacon, hashbrowns and pancakes. Angie, the owner, was caring and attentive as she checked on customers, the waitress and busboys were friendly and efficient. It is a small place, and busy for a Monday at 9:30, but our wait for a table was short and our food came out promptly. The noise level is as expected for a busy diner but totally tolerable and yes, the tables are close and cozy, but your dining neighbors are likely to be just as friendly as Angie and her staff. To those "1-star Moms" out there who bashed Angie and her restaurant for asking you and your messy toddlers to leave...yes, restaurants need to provide good customer service but YOU need to be a good customer as well. It sounds like you, and your friends, are part of the "new parents" who like to let their children express themselves and don't want to damage their little egos by actually disciplining them. I sat next to a 1-year old at Jus' Jo's today and he was cranky and antsy but there wasnt one drop food on the floor and his parents took turns holding him instead of letting him run around the restaurant. I applaud Angie for standing up for her customers, and her staff, by not allowing pooly parented children to ruin the dining experience of others. I wish more owners would have the courage to do the same. I go here at least twice a months ne each time the cinnamon rolls are a must have. They are made in house and just super delicious. The food is always amazing as well, you can tell that they only use high quality ingredients which I am more then willing to pay for. So sorry guys. Very average. I met my Mother in Fresno for an early Mother's Day weekend. We decided to have Sunday breakfast at Jus' Joe's because that's what all the yelpers were saying! Yelpers here and there left reviews on other breakfast joint's pages stating: "Alright food, but Jus' Joe's is better", Jus' Joe's = "Yeah! All of it! You'll love it. Definitely Two Thumbs Up!", "I highly recommend Jus Jo's" I unfortunately did not have an outstanding experience. After waiting our turn to be seated, the host gestured in a direction that there were some open tables. I filled in the blank and said "Oh, our table is ready?". We sat down and then after some time, I started to look around to see why we had not been given a menu. The host then realized that we did not have menus and scurried over with glasses of water and menus. It seemed like our waitress was less than concerned of our needs, only asked in passing if everything was ok (as a speed of 5 footsteps per second). Food was average - but came out quick. Maybe I got my hopes up. I was really looking forward to the best breakfast in my life, but instead, you could mistake the building for a biker bar, and have compared the food to Denny's. It's neither fair to me nor Jus' Jo's about the star system. Here's what happened to me. Today is May 22, 2022. My Group of five was in town for a convention that ended this weekend. I was looking for a great breakfast place and found Jus' Jo's as it was close to our hotel. I read the Yelp reviews and was curious as there were a ton of positive reviews and a few idiotic negative reviews to which the owner snarkily responded. I love that. We waited to eat all together so we could experience the bad or good service and the bad or good food. We were really looking forward to visiting. Well we pulled up and to our utter shock and surprise Jus' Jo's was CLOSED. The inside was dark and the doors locked tight. There was a yellow sign in the window of the door with tiny writing saying that it was employee appreciation week. Needless to say that we were genuinely disappointed, but we get it. Maybe one day we'll get to experience Jus' Jo' exceptional or disappointing service and food. read more

Get there early and get there hungry! Best breakfasts in the area, and the service is always very friendly. The place isn't big, maybe 15 tables and booths max. The line can stretch into the parking lot weekend mornings, but if you call ahead they're more than happy to put your name on the waiting list. Doing this we've never waited more than 10 minutes for a table once we arrived. They have a standard menu of eggs, omelets, pancakes, etc., as well as a specials menu that changes weekly. They also serve lo-carb bread and are more than happy to substitute a huge fresh fruit salad for fried potatoes or hash browns. If you're fortunate enough to go there when the eggs Benedict are the special you are a lucky soul indeed. I've told them a number of times that they should add them to the regular menu. The only downside is that it is quite small, and the tables are packed in there. When it's heaving with folks, which it always is when I'm there, it can be hard to maneuver through the tables to get to your spot. But it most definitely is worth every effort. read more

Second time coming here and the first time was great. The food is good but today the waitress was rude. We came in not knowing what time they closed. I had a short time to look at the menu and when asked I asked her for more time she said they were going to close soon so I needed to hurry. I randomly picked something, and as we were waiting more people walked in and were seated. The vibe was off so I cancelled our orders paid for the drinks and left. The manager asked what was wrong & I told her I felt her waitress was rude in rushing us. She said her cooks had to close the kitchen soon that's why but they would not rush us out of the restaurant. Holy Yum! Before our trip to Yosemite, we stopped here to pick up some fuel for the soul. Good thing we did, because this place is perfect! Cozy, home-town feel - when you walk in you're immediately welcomed by some real good local folk. Dining area gets full quick, so come early for breakfast and brunch. Portions are HUGE and all dishes come with toast or biscuits. Bottomless cups of coffee and affordable pricing made this one of the best breakfast spots I visited while I was in CA. My buddy, who may I add is 6' 5" and 300lbs, couldn't get himself to finish the huge ham-steak breakfast. I don't blame him because with the biscuits and gravy, and 2 other sides he had, it was a sizable portion. I made my own breakfast and got a combination of a veggie omelet and grandma's surprise omelet. What's nice is that they have no problem adjusting orders and accommodating your creations. Bad experience. I've been here a handful of times and it had always been a good experience because of the customer service and decent food. This last time Me and a friend went on a week day to eat breakfast and catch up. We had been there about an hour when we were asked to leave by the owner because they were busy and needed our seats. When we went to pay I noticed that there were only two groups waiting. I understand they are on the smaller side but I've been to much smaller places for much longer and have never been treated like an inconvenience. Unfortunately no matter how nice you are it can't fix a bad experience. Won't be back. When I went to read some yelp reviews I noticed that this has happened to others. This is my favorite breakfast place when I'm in Fresno. Friendly service, large portions of well cooked food, and a pleasant environment. Now if you walk in starving, you'll stay that way for a bit because they are always busy and it takes a good 15-20 mins to get your food after you order, but once you do you'll decide the wait was worth it. They cook an amazing ham steak that's not salty like most, their biscuits and gravy is worth coming for all by itself and if you get in there on a Sunday they usually have a top notch eggs Benedict on special. When I lived in Fresno from 2005-2010, this was go to place for me and my coworkers especially after a long day of work. Though there was always a wait that can vary depending on day and time of day, it was always worth the wait and the staff is fantastic. Driving down streets of chain restaurants, we were glad to find this local joint. Upon entering, we already sensed the homey vibe from the diner decor and laughing staff. I tried the Jo's Omelette cause hey, if it's named after the restaurant, it jus' gotta be good. You also get a side of hash/tators and biscuit/toast. The omelette was egg-cellent with plenty of melted cheese and sausage bits. Hash browns were made thin and crispy. Toast was slathered in melted butter, which I should've asked to put on the side. Portions were hearty and affordable. We had enough to take home for breakfast the next day. It also provided enough energy for our Fresno State tour in 100+ degree weather. Stopped by here because I've been wanting to try out a new breakfast spot for the longest time. I was impressed! I ordered the Brent Burrito (mild chorizo, eggs, potatoes, cheese, onions, bell peppers and other seasonings) and it was delicious. The flavors were great, although the potatoes were slightly undercooked and it was a tad bit on the salty side. The pinto beans & cheese, sour cream, sliced avocado, and salsa on the side were a really nice touch and complimented the burrito well. The burrito itself is HUGE and they definitely don't skimp on the ingredients, so I appreciated that! I also had a slice of French toast on the side which was great and cooked perfectly. I added a bowl of seasonal fruit for my youngster, which was fresh. It consisted of cantaloupe, watermelon, grapes, and honeydew melons. My hub had the tri tip steak combo done medium well and he had no complaints there and the meat was cooked perfectly. It also came with eggs and the joe's potatoes. The strawberry lemonade he ordered was also tasty, although you can tell there was lots of syrup in it. Pretty sweet. The pricing is fair and reasonable. No complaints there. The service is the main reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. When we arrived we were greeted and everything but instead of the host walking us to our seat, he just vaguely pointed and was like "Yeah there's a booth in the corner over there." Uh, ok. There were like 3 booths in the corner that were empty. So that kind of caught me off guard. We walked over there and just sat at whichever one we wanted. He comes over and I ask for a high chair and he says "oh yeah we have high chairs but you can't use it at this table." So I kind of stared blankly at him and said "Oh. Ok then." Umm...HELLO??! I was expecting him to accommodate us and move us to a table where we COULD have a high chair. But nope. He walks away and our waitress, Tanya (who was fantastic, by the way) comes over and chats with us, and we moved to a different table. Our drinks were refilled promptly, the food was hot and tasty, we never had to ask for anything, she checked on us frequently but not so much that it was annoying, and she brought our tab when it was obvious that it was the time to do so. Not too early, and not too late. Thumbs up for Tanya! There is country style decor here, and it has a cozy and home-like feel. Found this place via yelp, while driving back to LA from San Panchito. WARNING! This is a very popular place so be prepared to wait to be seated. My partner had the Belgian waffle combo and I had the Strawberry Pancake combo. The waffle was okay, your typical cakey-kind of waffle, we both like our waffles with a bit of outer crunch. Sausage was good, bacon was thick sliced and well cooked. I like my bacon crispy, my guy likes it chewy, the bacon here was in between, with crispy ends but some chew in the center. Before ordering my pancakes I asked if the strawberry pancakes are topped with fresh strawberries and our server explained that the berries are "fresh frozen in a syrup," she also said they had fresh berries, but it would cost a $1 extra. I opted for the fresh berries. However, when my order arrived the berries did not look FRESH, they looked like processed berries, kind of opaque and not a vibrant red. I was considering sending my order back when I decided to taste the berries, I must admit that although they do look like they had been sitting inside of some sort of syrup or preservative, they did not taste like it. The berries were actually good, not frozen, but not fresh, were lightly sweet and had a good texture. The pancakes are served crowned with light whip cream, perfectly pre-buttered and combined with the berries it was pure perfection. I didn't even need syrup and I ALWAYS have to have my pancakes with syrup. The staff is friendly and professional. They kept our coffee consistently refreshed. Btw: the coffee is good and piping hot. The interior is a bit rustic and is decorated with some interesting, adorable and funny signs all throughout the establishment. The restroom was very clean also, which to me is a must and says a lot about a restaurant. Overall, we recommend this place and would return if in the area again. read more

Mmm mmm good. One of the best choices of breakfast in Clovis. A warm comfortable atmosphere with friendly attentive service. I like the fact that you can see over the counter and into the kitchen, seeing the cooks in action. Knowing that your food is being prepared in an open clean environment is a bonus to any dinning experience. The prices are fair for the portions that you receive, and they have some really great specials. My favorite thing about Jus' Jo's is that they serve Fresno State Jalapeno Sausage. Which is made right down the street by the students. As far as I know this is the only place that serves it for breakfast (you can buy it at Rue and Gwen Farmers Market at the college). But today I tried the biscuit sandwich and a side of hash-browns, which I split with my boyfriend since we knew it would be a large portion of food. It was very good. They have a decent gravy and some tasty fluffy biscuits. Our friend ordered the Club Sandwich which he said was good but could use some work. All the components were there but the construction just didn't bring it together. And he specifically told me to say that the fries were nice and crispy with good size amount. Defiantly one of the top three choices for breakfast in Clovis. Nice people, good surrounding, and delicious filing food for a reasonable price. If you get there before 11am there are some really good specials from $4 to $6. Give it a try if you are in the area before they close at 2pm. read more

They were so great with all of the kids/babies there also... food was amazing, I love the biscuits and gravy, and my goodness...the cinnamon rolls are awesome!! There is so much good to say about Jus' Jo's. The waitresses are friendly and attentive, the owner is just as friendly and always comes by to make sure we are comfortable and happy with our food. The prices are more than reasonable - particularly when you consider the size portions. I eat as much as I can and still take half of it home. But none of this is why Jus' Jo's is the only place that I eat breakfast at. It is the OMG delicious food. Today I had the Spanish omelet - one of my 15 or so favorites. (Although - to be honest - every time I try something new it makes it on my favorites list) The Spanish sauce was just spicy enough without burning my mouth. The hash browns were perfect, crispy on the outside soft and flavorful on the inside. I do not get toast because I prefer to share my daughter's biscuits and gravy - which are absolutely awesome and so generously portioned that, even with both of us eating on them, we take some home. I love the peppery kick to the gravy. I know that Yelp only allows five stars - but Jus' Joe's deserves 10 stars. read more
