This review goes to the "eyebrow Lady" that everyone so calls. Upon arriving there was someone on the chair & someone else waiting for their turn. Not even done with the client on the chair someone called and asked to come in! Well the person came skipped. Then she lets some else come sit on that chair . That she never once cleaned Sit on it . I was their for a total of 45 min maybe even more , didn't even do my eyebrows because their was more people in front of me. I don't understand why they make you sing in if there no going to follow the sign in list . She so inconsiderate about peoples time. read more

I went in Saturday and set an appointment because the number on Google and help is disconnected. I arrive 10 mins early for my appt Sunday/Mother's day. I loved my pedicure and nails. When it came time to pay their card reader would not read my card so i sent the money via Paypal. Monday morning i woke up to a broken nail. I always get long coffin nails and I've NEVER one break the next day. Never. So I go baxk to the shop because again the number is disconnected. She was busy so I agreed to set an appt for Tuesday so that i wouldn't have to wait. Then I get a text saying they want an additional $2.68 because PayPal charged a fee. Reluctantly I said I'd pay it when i returned Tuesday for my appt. Tuesday i arrived and she was busy. I waited until 11:30. 30 mins past my appt before i decided to leave. this was the worst set of nails I've ever had done. I accept that people make little mistakes here and there so i wouldn't consider myself an extremely picky person but I left there so disappointed and with all of my fingers feeling like they went through TRAUMA. the lady used the least amount of product she could that my nails are see through. my fingers felt like they were on fire from chemicals. I requested black and she put red bc she thought it was better. she let a droplet of clear coat cure underneath my nail. she grinded my healthy nails down so thin that she almost went though to skin. she put an unnecessary amount of pressure on the electric file for some reason it felt like she was going to start a fire. and has the nerve to charge $37!!! if I could give a -100 review I would. i'm in sooooo much pain. i'm taking them off right now. this is why juliet nails is the very last place i'd ever go to. she was filing so hard the sides of my fingers are shredded!!! The plastic liners in the pedicure chairs are used over and over.. the state investigated and found this to be TRUE. but they only got a ticket. . I am writing a review based on twice coming here. First time was a week night. Fairly empty, 10 min wait. The woman who did my nails, older lady short hair, sits at desk 2 lacks attention to detail and I felt she rushed it. Soppy work at the sides of the nails were she didn't cover completely. 2 days later a nail cracked down the middle. Second time, today, I went in and there was more of a 30 min wait. When more people started coming in a lady (pedicure lady?) who had been standing around decided she wanted to give it a try, I guess. I'm not sure she is a manicurist. She handed me off to the lady everyone wants an appt with when it came time to apply powder. This woman proceeded to rush to finish as she had an appointment who was already waiting 20 mins. When she asked me to wash my nails another woman completed them. Again, from a distance they look just OK but you can see flaws in them. I will not be returning. read more

I love this place :) The ladies here are all so friendly and they have such a great selection to choose from with their nails! You can tell them exactly how you want your nails done. I like this place because it has really modern designs that suit my taste and normal nail painting is fairly affordable. Definitely recommend if you're in the neighborhood! read more

My nails were nicely done. I got a mani/pedi with a neutral color. Theresa was detail oriented and got into my big toe the way I like, lol. The polish was smooth and my cuticles were very neat. *eyebrow wax review* I've been getting my eyebrows waxed on and off here since I was 14 years old. I've obviously had my eyebrows waxed at other places but no one compares to Juliet's wax lady. I've paid significantly more money at other places only to leave with worse eyebrows than the ones I came in with. Juliet's Nails is consistently good. My eyebrows are not typical Latina eyebrows,(which is why I do not thread them) they are thin and have no shape. The waxing lady here knows how to work magic with my eyebrows so they have some shape. When I get them waxed at other places I usually end up with a pencil line for eyebrows. After 14 years I've learned my lesson to only get my eyebrows waxed at Juliet Nails. Went here last night to get my nails done and they look excellent! I showed them a picture of the colors I wanted my nails and they went through great length to find the true match for me. I had on shellac and she took it off and since they didn't have the color I wanted, she used powder which was fine with me as long as they didn't put on fake nails. Everything turned out great! They shaped my nails the way I wanted and painted a pretty little flower on for me. (See picture) I also got my eyebrows waxed with Lucy and my eyebrows has never looked better! I was actually scared to have it waxed bc I normally get it threaded but it was amazing. I will never go anywhere else to get my eyebrows done again. Pass on this place. I asked for a towel to cover my legs because I was wearing a dress. The receptionist gave me a towel that was clearly dirty and used. I told the girl that I could tell that it was dirty she said that it was ok because she only used the towel on one other person. The girl caught an an attitude, as did I. The lady who used to do eyebrows and her sister moved to signature nail spa on Yale and 21st, I happened to walk in one day and see her. My eyes lite up when I saw her. I have been getting my eyebrows done by her since I've been getting my eyebrows done. She knows me and knows how much I love her. She is a God send. I rarely post a review, but I feel like I had to make this post! Let me just start by saying I have been coming to this place for many years and had a terrible experience a couple of times but always came back because it was convenient since it was very close to my house. Today I decided it would be my last time coming to this place. It is very unsanitary when it comes to pedicures. I realize that the scrubs, file, and callus remover are rinsed with water that the previous customer used then put back in their box to use for other customers. I understand they're trying to cut costs, but if they care about customers, they should adequately disinfect the tools. Also, their employees need to be more professional; you don't get the same service as everyone. Some would give you less even if you pay more. Sometimes they don't ask what services you want. They just do whatever they want. I don't mind paying for the prices if the service and hygiene are met. If management reads this, please improve hygiene and train workers properly to give better service. Those boxes they have are so dirty and need to be kept more organized and clean. Today will be my last day coming to this place. I hope they can improve their service. I have nothing against the staff. I think some of them are nice. I thank them for their service as these ladies work hard. It just needs a lot of improvement but mainly proper hygiene. read more

I try to void this place altogether but since Helens was extremely packed I went to Juliets. As soon as I got there I was immediately attended as there was no wait. I sat in one persons chair when she finally put her phone down she started working on my nails until someone else came and I was switched to another chair. Lady #2 never spoke which is fine but she repeatedly literally pushed away my hands and pulled them towards her. Once as my hand had already entered the dryer she jerked it out to check if there was polish was on the cuticle. Then shellac color is red one day later on my left hand I had a very visible chip on the index finger and on the right hand the clear is chipping on the index finger and a dark pink shade somehow formed on my middle finger. read more

I brought my mom here for a quick nail do as it was the day of my cousins sweet 16 and she decided she wanted her nails done last minute. We walked in maybe 9:30-10 am. They attended fast but the man I was assigned to has little experience and it shows. Do not get your nails done here unless you make an appointment with one of the experienced women. I started way before my mom and she ended up finished before I did, and she got diamonds! The man cut me so many times and he proceeded to clean my hands with alcohol after! I've literally gone here on and off for over 15 years and it is hit or miss depending on what you are having done and who is doing it. Many of the really great ladies are gone or have started their own nail salons ( Helen's) and there are too many new faces to remember. I will say that 2 of the times I have gone in the last year and paid cash with larger bills and had numerous services done, they tried to short change me by 10 and 20 dollars. The first time I caught it they tried to play the "I don't speak English well and got confused" card. I know better, but I let it slide. A few times down the road it happened again with a different lady and I can't see that "mistake" happening twice by coincidence. I have to wonder how many people they do that to that simply aren't paying attention.....myself included. This place is definitely not the same as it was when it was Julie ' s salon, but they do a pretty good inexpensive pedicure and great eyebrows (as long as you specify what you want or they will be super thin).....just count your change! read more

I try avoiding this place as much as possible, but sometimes if I have no other options I will drop in. My last experience was HORRIBLE, the employees are unprofessional and the salon is FILTHY. I was getting a pedicure and noticed roaches crawling around the ladies work area/ cart. It was disgusting! Not Sanitized at all. Ive been told Lucy does the best eyebrows but I have to disagree.
