I went here to get myself ready for graduation... my hair was great. That was in 2015 HOWEVER, In July 2018... I went to get my face waxed and received a scratched on my face because the girl didn't do it right and it was so obvious. Then my hair ... i was done like at 11 and it was a mess by 4 pm.. I was really dissatisfied, they have nice staff but the work is not really worth the price. read more

irís is the only one that knows how to cut hair . Avoid the other ladies. I paid 20 dollars for my haircut. I honestly don't like my hair but I got over it. They need to hire people that actually know, or just teach them right. The lady that cut my hair had to be helped by the salon owner.(iris) I even showed her pictures of what I wanted . DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. I took my son to get a hair cut this weekend and I told one of the lady's that works there how I wanted my son's hair to be. Instead, the lady put a teenager (boy) to cut my son's hair and the reason why I didn't say anything it was because I thought that the boy knew what he was doing. To make matters worse, I went outside to my car to get my wallet, and as soon as I walked outside my son told me when I got back in that the lady was telling the (boy) that he was messing up the hair cut. Did I pay for The messed up hair cut they did to my son, YES. Did I get an apology NO. The owner of this establishment was there and didn't do anything about it. I have been going to Iris Beauty salon for about 5 years, however, after these last visits I do not think I will be returning. In January 2018, I went for a trim and hair color and the hair color did not result well. My top half was one color and the bottom half of my hair was a darker color. I brushed it off thinking it was a one time event. Then, I returned in May 2018, and it happened again with the hair color except it was worse and she knew it and said any more coloring would damage my hair. I left thinking I will stick to just getting a haircut. Well, I returned this month for a trim and to get some bangs and it didn't turn out well. I asked for side swept bangs and she cut straight down bangs. I showed Iris the picture and she said okay, so I will not be returning and do not recommend unless you want to be surprised after your haircut or color. read more
