However, this spa has EVERYTHING I needed all in one place, so I decided to try again. I am glad I did, as yesterday I had a great experience. First of all, the person at the front desk (Ashley, maybe?) was very friendly when I called and when I arrived. I scheduled some waxing and hydra facial with Emily. Emily is AHMAZING, and I will return for a regular facial soon. I appreciate her knowledge of the products, and she tells you everything she is doing. Plus, she was very sweet, but not too talkative (I hate small talk and like to RELAX at the salon). Bailey gave me a haircut. As far as technique, it was ok. I wouldn't say I have found The One (I have been shopping for a regular stylist for 3 years since my long term hair stylist chose to be a stay at home mom). Overall I liked that Bailey was quiet and the end result was great. I would go back to her for a trim, but I will keep looking for my forever stylist. Which probably won't be at Salon M since there are only 3 stylists here. I liked the August discount for teachers, but according to the flyer, I should have gotten $15 off both facial abs haircut services. Ashley only gave me one discount, which is a bummer. I do like their rewards points program!!! That is a cool incentive to get you to return. You earn $1 for every $50 you spend.

However, whenever the pandemic hit, I've only been back there maybe once and nobody working there was wearing a mask. In May of this year, I got in contact with the hairdresser I used there to see if I could get an appointment to do my hair for prom. She told me she could check something when she got to work and she never got back to me. I had to find another place to go to. It was not only rude, it was pretty unprofessional. Me and my relative both have found a different place to go to.

My mom went in here wanting her hair done and it was messed up…read morethe first time two days later she went back to see how they could fix it asking for a toner, was told it was too orange and needed to be bleached again and she only agreed because the stylist promised her hair would not be damaged. My moms hair is now completely fried, and she got a chemical burn. Prior to getting her hair highlighted she got 5" cut off and now she has to get alot more off because of how damaged it is. The owner of the salon did give my mom her money back but made my mom feel like the damage was her fault because she had to high of expectations.. and that what she wanted was going to be a process. Which my mom understood and did not expect it to be 100% what she wanted but at least close enough and not brassy and damaged.
