It was my first time at this salon and I'll definitely be coming back thanks to Kimiko!! She did an amazing job on my hair. She saw my sample pictures and heard how I wanted my hair done and did just that! I'll definitely be coming back to her when I need to get touched up again!

Such a lovely experience! My husband and I were having a short "staycation" here in The Woodlands…read morecelebrating a birthday, an anniversary, and a night away from the 4yr and 6mo kiddos! The husband booked a massage and mani/pedi for myself (who has time for those anymore!?) and I am so glad he did!! My massage was with Lidia and she was simply wonderful! I told her my shoulders and upper back were bothering me (something fierce) and she made sure throughout the massage that the pressure was good and that I was comfortable. I'm pretty sure I fell asleep once or twice! My mani/pedi was nothing short of perfect! Andrea was kind, funny, and personable (and extremely skilled!). I know it was the end of her day but she took the time to make sure I had everything I needed and that I was satisfied. In no way did I feel rushed at all. Even later in the week when one of my nails messed up, I came by the spa and she fixed the one I messed up and checked the others and made them look like I had just gotten my nails done that day! She makes a very delicate and meticulous job look so easy, and that takes skill. The whole spa is quaint and relaxing. There was a small miscommunication when I first arrived so I did not really get to enjoy the "quiet area" but that was not the fault of anyone! The ladies at the front desk were running like a well-oiled machine. While I was waiting I heard one take a call from someone with a very specific request for her and some friends. It did not sound like it was going to be possible but as soon as she got off the phone she started making some calls and made it happen! That is service! If you are visiting The Woods anytime soon and are staying around Market Street/Waterway I highly recommend stopping by the Spa at the Waterway!

While both techs were…read moreextremely warm, the actual service I was paying for lacked any real technique or care, or expertise. The eyebrow tech literally waxed, and that was all, didn't cut the hair, or pluck remaining hairs. The gel manicure was so amateurish I couldn't believe I paid $96. It will surely peel off within the week. Go elsewhere for these services.

Don't blink as you drive by, because this unassuming place on the feeder road of I-45 is a little…read morediamond in the rough. So whoever their exterior designer is should be fired because the place looks like a house. Make that a house on the side of America's worst and deadliest freeway. Which means a house i would never even think of entering. But that's where the criticism ends. First, the reason we came: I think this may be the only place in the Woodlands that serves hojicha. And it's not just hojicha. It's like imperial grade hojicha. Like the tea is even Imported from Kyoto and is referenced as "ceremonial" grade. In fact all their products are high quality like that. Organic and "clean" is the word they kept using. I don't know what means but I like it. You get one milk with it and and you can add flavored syrup for a quarter. it was Suggested to get maple honey, their most popular syrup, to enhance the roasted nuttiness. But why get that when they have White chocolate, which was also a recommended syrup. There's a roaming dog that greeted us as we entered. So nice and calm. Looks like a labordoodle maybe. Very well behaved. A gentleman maybe the owner came out of the room marked "private" and greeted us. They also have different types of therapies like sauna, red light, flowpresso, bed vibration, etc. Limited parking in front and back. But enough for the number of customers in there when we went on a Friday afternoon. Small patio outside. Goods and snacks for sale too. I decided to get the chicken avocado sandwich as well. The sandwich is on sourdough bread and was tasty. It comes with chips which were even tastier. Think Popeyes chicken transformed into a chip. No joke. I eat at Popeyes a couple times a week further dow I-45 so I consider myself a fried chicken aficionado and I recognize that get-in-my-tummy-now flavor anywhere. To wash it all down we also got a cookie. Now the cookies are pricey. One row is made in store by them and the other row is what's listed on the menu as Galindo brand. It was $5 for one of their home baked ones and it wasn't very big. It said "gf" sweet tooth cookie so I thought maybe the owners girlfriend that made it or something. But in reality "gf" means gluten free. Well duh. Makes more sense I suppose. It was good. I don't know if it's $5 good, but if I had disposable income this would definitely be the place I'd buy my cookies from. They also got free water to drink. From two coolers nonetheless. The one they recommended as super refreshing had a 7x advanced filtration system with things like advanced osmosis, activated oxygen, alkaline and electrolytes treatment, etc. Not gonna like though, this palate of mine just ain't refined enough to tell the difference from water from the hose which as a kid I always found most refreshing after running around all day outside. Fried chicken? Ok. But water? Nope. Unless it's got a pack of grape Kool-Aid poured in it. Go give this place a try. It's like a little oasis in the jungle of I-45.

It was my first time trying it, and I was honestly blown away by how good the customer service was. The staff is warm, attentive, and actually seems happy you're there -- which is rare these days. The food was fresh and you can tell they really lean into using local ingredients. Everything tasted clean and well‑made, not just thrown together. And the coffee... top notch. Smooth, bold, and clearly crafted by people who care about what they're serving. You can feel the difference between "just another coffee shop" and a place that takes pride in the details. The vibe is perfect for hanging out -- comfortable seating, relaxed atmosphere, and enough space to actually talk without yelling over noise. Our group ended up staying longer than planned because it was just that easy to settle in. This spot is officially in my rotation now. I'll be stopping by often.

As soon as you left the entry area the ambiance changed to candle lighting and Zen-like music. I loved the fact that in the lady's lounge they had my name on my locker (nice personalized touch!). They provided a nice robe and shoes for my visit. I changed and went into the relaxation lounge which was lovely. Relaxing chairs, snacks and beverages including mimosas and champagne. Luis was my massage therapist and he arrived at the lounge on time to take me back. I booked a 50 minute Swedish massage. Luis asked if there were any problem areas that needed to be targeted. It was excellent! I like that the table was warmed before I arrived, your feet were cleaned with a warm towel at the beginning and end. I also appreciated when he went to work on my upper back he put a towel over my hair so I didn't have the oil left to deal with later. When I finished up I took a nice shower in the ladies lounge. I left feeling like a relaxed, pancake. lol If you're looking to treat yourself or a friend to a wonderful spa experience this should be your choice!

I was counting down until my massage was up if that tells you anything. My service provider seemed very checked out. The selling merchandise on check out is odd and seems to be very encouraged because those girls sure can harsh a mellow. I haven't had a massage in America in forever. But the kiddo wanted one despite my reluctance. I…read morelived in both China and Thailand and I used to get massages daily while living there. So I'm kind of critical when it comes to judging massages. And I just knew it wouldn't live up to my expectations. First off the price in America is just ridiculously high compared to overseas. But isn't everything I ask? An hour combo at $60 buys you 30 minutes foot massage and 30 minutes body massage without moving to a new spot or 30 minutes moving to one of those face down chairs for the body massage (more like neck and shoulder in the chair). Regardless it's almost the same since you are face down either way, the main difference being they would also work on your lower half if you didn't choose the chair. First off let's make no mistake. This a Chinese establishment. Like so many places in Houston. The guy up front is actually from the same Northern province in China as my dad is from. And the workers - all Chinese. The guy working the desk will interpret for them what the customer wants. Like one customer came in and didn't want the legs or arms massaged (focus time on back and shoulder). And I can see why as they spend a whole lot of time on those areas otherwise. I'd probably say the same thing if I were to come back one day. My masseuse was an older lady. The women's hands were unfortunately weak. It was late in the day so maybe that's why. Not much pressure whatsoever. The only time I felt something was when I was face down and she was using her elbow to grind it in my back. It hurt like crazy. A few times I encountered this same thing in Thailand and I always hated it. It is really the lazy man's method for giving a massage. They soak your feet in a bucket of warm water at the start of the massage. And they cover your eyes too with a towel. No music. And it was very quiet (they don't chit chat with each other). The guy at the front was a bit standoffish at first. He seemed to not like me taking photos and asked me why I was doing that. When I explained I'd be writing a review and wanted pics he seemed ok and actually got a whole lot nicer. So we got the $60 massage combo massage. And they went the full time which I know some places (or some visits) don't always do. Credit card usage has a $3 surcharge. My daughter's masseuse was waiting by the front door as we paid upfront which is usually what they do overseas too. I think it's usually to get a tip. But my masseuse was nowhere in sight so I actually had to have someone track her down so I could give her a tip which being in America I felt was the right thing to do. Actually overseas now the Americans have spoiled the Thais to where it's expected there too now. Sad to see a beautiful art polluted like that. We did $10 each on a $60 massage. And they seemed happy with that. I've included some videos of the inside and price chart. I think their hours are shifted back from what is posted on Yelp and Google Maps, seeing as folks were just coming in as it approached 9 pm. And the door actually says 10 am - 10 pm too.

We initially went to the Massage Spa across from this location, but no one was at the front desk…read more He was complaining about upper back shoulder pain. Which was preventing him from exercising and doing certain tasks. Thankfully we seen this place across the way and decided to walk in to learn our options. The owner Luke was very friendly. We asked for the couples massage 60 min, which is only $120, +$3 If you use a card to pay. That's a great deal to me. And I am pregnant, so I asked if they have someone who is experienced. He called his wife to come from their other location and she arrived within 15 min. And it was just what we needed! While waiting for his wife Lucy, Luke helped put pressure and did some stretches and neck work on my partner, Chinese Tuian. And immediately after my partner felt tremendous relief! I was amazed. Especially bc he thought I could just give him a massage at home to work out the kinks. This Chinese Tuian was like magic with specific pressure points. Then once his wife arrived we began our couples massage. Mine was relaxing as I'm unable to receive too much pressure at 8 months pregnant. One thing I did notice is the massage Lucy did on my face helped clear my sinuses! Now I'm able to breathe well again! My partner's massage therapist used hot stones, and stretched him, did deeper pressure points. And he too has left feeling so much better than when we walked in. We are happy we found this place. Luke told us they have two locations and have been here for 15 years. We will definitely be back and highly recommend!
