I absolutely LOVE this salon but most importantly I LOVE LOVE LOVE my talented stylist, Lauryn Diaz. She is the most talented colorist I have ever met. I have had every color, platinum blonde, chocolate brown, ombré, everything and she is the BEST in the area! I started going to her at shag and am happy to drive to spring because there isn't a better colorist in the woodlands than her! She's very reasonable when it comes to cost and flexible and always willing to do whatever it takes to fit you in to her schedule. She's also committed to keeping her clients happy and takes so much pride in her work, if it's not right she fixes it to make you look and feel fabulous! I'm in my twenties and she keeps me happy while still keeping my mom who is in her sixties happy as well. She had so much range and is so talented that she has mastered classic color and can master the newest techniques as well! I'm obviously a big fun of this fabulous girl and I think you will be too! After years of neglecting my own hair thinking that I could "save" money by bleaching it and more, I decided that it was time to get pampered and get my hair done for someone really professional and I am so glad I found this salons. After reading all the reviews and looking through the official website I contacted Claudia Miranda (She is on suite 221) and she gave me an appointment. All I can say is that she is the best!! My hair obviously looked like a nightmare when I arrived and she really performed an amazing color, haircut, everything! I loved it! And by my husband's face when he came back home and saw me, it confirmed the amazing job she did since he loved it too!. She is super nice and patient, she took her time and it passed by so quickly because we had a nice chat. The place is really nice and comfy so it was a plus, no parking problems. My husband is looking forward to get an appointment so he can get a haircut too. It is really affordable and has reasonable prices. We'll be clients for life! read more

Yaned Castillo: suite #204 I got my haircut from Yaned and she was very professional and experienced. I wanted something different from my long hair. I asked her how short I could get it. She used extremely nice products for my hair and I've never seen it like this before. I got it cut, styled, and shampooed for a really good price. It was worth it! She cut my hair short but long enough for my thick hair. She recommended an inexpensive way to treat my hair because its damaged. And somehow she got it to look really shiny! The added little curls to the tips of my hair and I love it! Cosmopolitan Nail Salon: suite #220 Very friendly people! Shellac was at a good price and they massaged my hands and arms. Overall it was an amazing experience, it smelt good too! They offered us beverages and we had a good laugh. They even asked if we liked the colors and suggested different styles. Having a good nail experience as well as an attentive staff. They have a good deal too for the month of April. read more

I had been going to my stylist for over 8 years but she was injured and no longer cuts hair. When you find a good one, you hold on to them as long as possible. For some reason, people find it difficult to cut my hair. I have thick, long curly hair. Many times my hair has been butchered by some idiot with a pair of scissors. Usually they cut it noticeablly uneven or go scissor happy and cut it too short. I usually dred getting my hair cut! I found Ann Messer about 7 months ago and I'm glad I did. Ann Messer is awesome! I won't trust my hair to anyone else. I started taking my daughter also and even my mom sees her. She listens to what you want, does great work and wow is she quick. I even had her give me a keratin treatment twice now. My hair looks great and I am pleased to be a committed client. Don't ever stop cutting hair Ann! read more

I used to go to Lauryn Diaz at Shag Spa. It was super crowded and very noisy in there! Hard to relax, I started coming to Lauryn again at French quarters and I LOVE the atmosphere! She is such a great stylist and colorist! I have always been extremely happy with my hair after it leaves her hands! She really outdid herself this last time!! I have received more compliments and have felt so confident since she colored my hair about a week ago. I would recommend anyone and everyone to go see her if they want a great outcome! This girl has magic hands and she is very efficient. I get tired of waiting for 3-4 hours to get highlights, cut, and blow dry and she gets me in and out in under 2 hours for everything! I've been seeing my stylist, Lauryn Diaz, for a little over a year now. After graduating college I was SO worried about finding someone back in Spring to trust with my hair but she's been nothing short of amazing. I work a crazy schedule but she's always willing to fit me in and work with whatever ideas I give her or give her own suggestions. She's also one of those who's always willing to fix something if you're unhappy (though I've never had to actually take her up on any of those offers!) and her pricing is extremely reasonable. I love coming to this salon. Not only is it 5 minutes from my house, but I also love the fact that the salon is relatively new. It is clean, open, and decorated very nicely. The individual suites are very nice too. You don't have to hear everyone else's conversations, or several hair dryers being used at once. My hairdresser, Lindsay Gonzalez, works there and I wouldn't go to anyone else. I have followed her since she was in beauty school. I'm so happy that she has found such an awesome place to work her magic. I've been to this location million of times. Every time I go, I see Michelle Vickery in room #215. She is absolutely the sweetest and most caring hairstylist. Whenever I have set up an appointment with her she asks me specifically what I want and is incredibly honest if it's doable or not with my hair. There have been times that I decide I'm going to do my own color or minor cut and incredibly mess it up. She is a phone call away to salvation. Michelle vickery is very real and kind and I recommend her to all my friends and family consistently. She is super trained and has etiquette when being honest about my hopeful hair goals. Miss Kym is the best stylist ever. After doing hair myself it was hard to trust anyone to do my hair. I was caught in a trap of relaxing my hair breaking and shedding. Until i met Kym. She taught me about the wonders of having locs. She even gave me a book to read so that i would understand the history of having locks . Her passion for her clients is shown in the way she educates us to live a life of fulfilled beauty. I am very pleased with her charm and her cleanliness. I'm so happy that I found "Jennie Kim Nails" service at this French Quarter Salons. Jennie and Kim are very friendly, fun and professional. They always keep up with the latest products. They have variety of nail polish colors, so many to choose from. The price is very reasonable and the service is even better. They do best designs on the nails which I'm satisfied every my visits. I love the foot/leg massage that Jennie gives me :-) She is the best! Oh, and I love the decoration of this Salon, so elegant. Go and see it for yourself. Kacey Bohler at French Quarter Salons is amazing! I have fine hair that has some curl. Many stylists have no idea what to do with it. Kacey always makes it look great. She really listened to what I wanted with both the cut and color. I had issues with my last stylists' color turning brassy, but I have not had that issue with Kacey. My daughter who has very thick, very curly hair has also been to Kacey when she was in town as well as my two young grandsons. She was great with the kids and my daughter felt great when she left the salon. read more

My daughters and I love Michelle Vickery! She is able to take even a vague description of a color or style and make it! She makes my daughter's hair a gorgeous jewel red that doesn't fade, and her cut is the edgiest pixie--totally my daughter's personality and style. Really nice place. I much prefer this environment than the typical hair salon with multiple stylist jammed together. Everyone seems friendly and happy, especially the customers. Claudia in suite 221 is a great stylist and works miracles with my hair. I have multiple cow-licks and it is hard to find someone that can cut my hair so it lays down like I want it to. My last visit she talked me into a facial (not typically my thing) and now I am a convert! Very relaxing! read more

Although the stylists each have their own suite I am always greeted when I walk into the door. My stylist Lindsay from The Queen Bee Salon is always happy to see me and gives a great cut and style.
