I got a cut and color with the stylist Parker. by far the best service I have ever received. the space is clean and professional and it's clear that Parker values her clients. I came in with a vague idea of brown with highlights and she showed me some hand selected inspiration based on my skin and eye color and my natural color so that grow out would be seamless. She walked me through each step of the process and made sure I was completely happy with the selections she made before she applied them. After it was done, she styled it beautifully and made sure to show me how to achieve the same look at home. This is by far the best hair I have ever had and I cannot wait to show it off. read more

Great experience with everyone here. I booked an appointment as a new client and I will admit I was a little nervous the stylist might not understand the cut I wanted. I had a situation that was going to make me late and they were so kind and understanding and moved an appointment back for me and even offered to change the date without penalty. Jocelyn did a great job and took the time before my shampoo to make sure she understood what I wanted. She cut my hair to my exact specifications and I love it!! I was very excited about this salon I was shopping at sprouts and decided I'm gonna go to the salon next-door I walked in and I said can I make an appointment and she hesitated at first and then she said OK can you come back in about an hour and took down my name and number and told me what would you like to do and I said a haircut and color she said OK I'll see you in an hour so I went home put my groceries away and came back for the lady that sat me down in the chair and asked me what I wanted to be done I said I would like to color my hair get rid of my grays and color it a bronze brown color highlights and get a haircut get rid of my dead ends she said OK so she looked at me and she started working on it and I assume she knew exactly what she was doing but she was hesitant and said that I don't know if your hair will take the color of bronze brown and I explain to her that I have done it before my hair is a little hard to color but it will work so she said OK we can try let's see how it goes I don't like that answer we can try it and let's see how it goes there's no guarantee I wantEd satisfaction that's why I came there I wanted my color done that's why I was there I didn't want the answer I don't know if I can do it so I didn't say anything and I just sat there letting her do her job that she supposed to be highly trained for. So she colored my hair dyed my highlights and we waited 30 to 45 mins and when she looked at it she said to someone else to come look and that person said to do something else so she went and added more color to my hair and we waited then we washed as she was washing she asked this lady again can you come look at this hair so why are they both discussing my hair and I have no idea what was going on besides her telling me that your hair didn't quite like the color so I'm gonna work on fixing that and that are you sure you haven't colored your hair recently and I said no I haven't colored my hair in a very very long time so the lady I guess told my hairstylist that add this color so I guess we will keep adding colors to my hair until they stopped and then once that was all done a few hours later I washed my hair again and then she decided to blow dry it and she cut my hair and tell me what do you think I couldn't see my highlights I couldn't see the bronze brown at all I just can't see anything but black and she said as you wash your hair you're slowly see your highlights didn't understand that but I said OK if you guys are done the shop close nobody was there but us and then I went to go pay my bill I was thinking maybe within $200 that should be done but no she charged me 300 something for haircut and color that even did not do any justice to my hair at all I wasn't happy with the bill and I wasn't happy that she charge me that much that was ridiculous and Unpleasing I paid the bill and gave her a tip because that's how I am a nice person but I didn't agree with the bill the lady who charge me said she will email me the receipt so I said OK and I smiled and went on my way without complaining nothing but I wasn't happy at all 300 something dollars for color and haircut are you kidding me. I never got my email my receipt either I think they realized that the overcharged me . I think I was played a fool . I came home style my hair I didn't see a difference couple of days later I wash my hair I still did not see a difference where was my highlights why was my color not showing I see nothing but black in the 2nd week all my grays are showing again and my hair was whacked it was so dry and brittle since the day I came home from the hairstylist I have had to mask my hair so many times to make it soft and fluffy again I don't know what that salon lady did to my hair but she ruined it so this review is for the salon if you feel that you cannot do someone's hair please be honest and don't do it Or give another example and say the best thing to do for your hair is this color and make a resolvement with the customer. I feel I should get my money back I'm very very unhappy and I made this survey later because that's how upset I am and unhappy I have been in I should get my money back that's all I know . My hair was damaged with all the color she put in etc and it took me weeks of other products to make it feel better and still today it's not 100 percent . I had tried to color my own hair silver. It turned out grey blue, and just didn't look right! As well my roots were still a light brown! Nicole worked her magic and expertise on my hair. She blended the roots in with an ashy brown and pulled some bleach and a beautiful silvery toner through the rest of my hair, and gave a great cut and style. It turned out ...nothing short of perfection!! She was professional and friendly. The owner Leif was there and made me feel acknowledged and welcome. Amazing! I was leery about trying a new place because I tend to stick to what I know but I'm certainly glad I came here. First impression - atmosphere is clean and inviting. I had Leah who is young and energetic. She genuinely wants to know you as a client and was very considerate of what I wanted. She gave me an amazing cut! Exactly what I asked for. She styled it perfectly. At the end when I explained I didn't need any product this time around, no one tried pushing anything on me past that which I VERY much appreciated. I made a last minute Christmas Eve appointment with Leah because of a mix up at another salon and it definitely worked out in my favor. I have long hair and I don't get it cut very often and I hate when it looks like it has just been cut. Leah listened to my concerns and cut my hair perfectly. She added layers and made it look fuller without losing hardly any length. On top of that, she was very friendly and made me comfortable, definitely didn't feel like it was my first time in the salon. I live in Austin and I will be for sure coming back to Leah next time I need to cut my hair. read more

The new location is fantastic. Very easy to get to, and lots of shopping around to show off your fantastic hair. All of the stylists here are amazing, although I think Emily may be the most amazing, but I'm a little biased. They have a pretty good assortment of shampoos and products as well. I don't trust anyone else in Houston with my hair. Hopefully I don't have any hair emergencies that would cause me to be a walk in, but you can do that here as well! When you set an appointment, you'll get an appointment reminder as an e-mail and a text(if you choose) which is great if you are like me and forget everything as soon as you walk out. Highly recommend. They are very worth it, and the whole place has a fun vibe that's very pleasant. I look forward to coming here every few months, even when it was in the other location. This place is beautiful, they offer snack and water in the waiting room which I rarely ever see and is a nice accommodation. They give a little gift bag for first time members which was awesome! And showed me how much they really want you as a client, I didn't feel just a number there but that they actually cared and Hailey (I'm so sorry if I got this wrong) was a wonderful woman and did a great job on my hair! Gave me the cut I wanted and as she made sure I was ok with the length of my layers before moving on and she was great to talk to. Will definitely be going back! read more

Seriously the best hair color I have had in year's! I wanted to brighten up with blonde since my hair was an accidental ombre and Emiy did an amazing job, I couldn't be happier!
