I think it's one lady there that she knows how to do nails with someone in the chair at the time that I walked in and the lady that ended up doing my nails was completely rude. I kept making request. She kept acting like she heard me and still doing what she wanted to do. My real natural nails were long and thick and I allowed her to give me a new set which is just overlay and cut down and she filed my nails to literally smithereens And then was rude and kicked me out I wouldn't step foot in this building. If it was the last nail salon on earth, I would just chew my nails off at that point that's how annoying how frustrating and how terrible the service was. I went in to get a pedicure and a design on my nails and she told me she didn't have time for the design I asked for on my nails. Then lied and stated that she didn't know how to do design when I came in before and she was doing a design on someone nails. All I wanted was a couple of lines on my nails and I got turned around for it ... understood it was 2 people working but I can in like everyone else with a service and for a place that gives service to lie and tell me she can't complete a service is insane and not professional at all. I don't understand why nail shops think they can tell you how to do your nails when you're paying for WHAT YOU WANT. I came in for a soak off, I had an acrylic overlay on my natural nails. The lady began cutting my nails with force. I wish I would've stopped her when I saw the nail clippers but I thought they were for the 3D nail design I had. She cut my nails super short, with the acrylic still on my nails. And then I had my hands dipped in acetone, instead of individually soaked to minimum harm to the skin. She wanted me to keep my fingers in the acetone longer but I told her no, since my skin was hurting. I am still just in disbelief that was my first experience here. read more

ant to start off by saying I love the nails...the lady was so sweet and she made sure that I was happy with my nails every step of the way.. However, I also received a pedicure, the lady was very rough during the service at one point she used a tool that essentially poked me around my cuticle area I guess when I spoke up about it, she just looked and kept going I told her to stop whatever it was because I didn't like it and the cherry on top. So my first warning sign should have been the fact that the place was totally empty. But still I gave them a chance and I must say that I am nothing short of disappointed. I went in for a shellac, pedicure, and eyebrow wax. About 10 minutes into my pedicure, I noticed hair all over the floor around the pedicure chairs. Quickly I re-evaluated my decision to have waxing services. While the young lady doing my manicure was nice, she was very rushed. (Which I do not understand as the place had no other customers). I had to ask her to clean under my nails before painting them! Not to mention, twice, I had to ask her to file my nail edges which where clearly split from her removing my previous shellac. While I was getting my services, another nail tech was doing her own pedicure and returned the used cuticle trimmer to the rolling stand used to house the equipment and such. . . Let's give her the benefit of the doubt and hope she sanitizes it after I leave. On the verge of sounding beside myself, I was not offered one beverage and had to request water-- maybe I'm just spoiled by my previous salon :) I love the color, but the paint job leaves much to be desired. Made an appt for 145 pm, and was taken in 30 minutes late. They mentioned it was going to be a little, but no update as to time. Next, I got burned from the water being too hot for my gel pedicure. I asked the lady to make it cooler and she laughed at me. Quite a comforting response. So I refused to put my feet in. It was still not cool enough. So I asked her again to make it cooler and then drained all the water. She asked me what color I wanted and I said white, however was not given a choice of colors. The first time I've not been given a choice of colors and I've been getting my nails done for over 12 years. The whole service was rushed from the gel paint and carelessly touching my painted toes on the lamp, in addition to being rough from the foot scrub to the pumice compounded by adding the scrubbing on burnt feet. Worst pedicure of my life. Should've listened to the other low star reviews however we had a layover in Houston and got a massage nearby so decided try this based on convenience. read more

I decided to get my nails done here regardless of the 3 star rating. I believe in giving benefit of the doubt. I was greeted & was attended to within 10min. I got SNS dip powder as I'm used to getting it all the time. She began filing my nails & they were uneven, I had to ask her to make sure they were all the same size. Once she put the final coat & let my nails fully dry, my nails had bubbles on 3 of my fingernails/ each hand. I asked her to fix them. Once she did fix them we let them dry again, once dry the bubbles were still present. This process was repeated 3 times on each hand. I decided to let it go & just leave as I had been there for quite a while and she had started a pedicure on someone else so I was no longer her concern. First time at orchid nail , what an amazing experience! Ended up with the deluxe manicure pedicure, which consisted of milk and honey moisturizer, hot stone massage, and paraffin wax! Started off okay. The place was pretty empty and the ladies seemed nice. I was getting a pedicure. It was very relaxing then I asked for a shellac on my hands. Another lady showed up and began doing my hands at the same time as my feet. The lady doing my hands began to cut my cuticles and cut a chunk of my skin off. I was bleeding super bad. She started to panic and put this blue liquid on my cut but it didn't stop the bleeding so she went to grab glue. I took my hand back and said it's okay I'll hold a tissue on my cut because I didn't want my hand to get infected from glue. She was very apologetic and nervous the rest of the time. Anyways I didn't make a huge deal but my overall shellac is sloppy, my finger was cut and my toes were rushed. I won't be returning back to that salon after today. read more

I'm really happy with this Salon, the quality of their work, and their covid protocols. For covid, they have their customer waiting chairs socially distance, ans they seat theie customers socially distance as well. They also have a plexi glass between you and themselves and keep their masks on. They keep their doors open when weather permits to allow a healthy cieculation of air, ans the wuality of work...at least for what I got done was nice! You do have to tell them and be firm on what you want. Now to whatever lady got a mani and pedi for $45, she either got thr basics, or messed it up for everyone because where!?! But I'm happy with my results. Only downside I would say is I'd feel more comfortable if I knew for sure they were wiping down the bar patients arms are on as well as chairs. But they do put down plastic in the foot bowls (although they could have been doing that for covid). Besides that, good work & service. My only two qualms is that 1) I saw a white lady get asked if she wanted cuticle oil, and I had to ask so...you know...ask everyone! 2) The pedicure lady started talking in her language to her coworkers. Are you talking about my feet? Saying charge me more? Lots of salons do that, but that's a bit rude. But overall still worth going to! read more

She started removing my nails with another false nail putting it under the lifted nail. She tore my nail off and I started bleeding. I told her to just take the nails off and I would wait to get the new set after my finger heals. She tried to persuade me to get the new set anyway. I visited the salon on Sunday 9/26/2021. At the end of the service they had a electrical outage. They were unable to process payments. Immediately I was asked could I pay cash. I responded I did not have the cash. Then I was asked could I go to CVS, immediately another customer responded "Oh I don't have any cash either. She was told oh don't worry we know you , You can bring yours tomorrow. Now while this was only my third visit, maybe three times weren't enough to be trusted to come back, as the other customer. However it was never suggested she find a ATM as I. I'm perturbed mostly at fact that the woman asked me did I know "how" to get the money from the ATM. She repeated this to me twice. I throughly was insulted at the mere fact that she thought I was ignorant , as to how to use a ATM. My bank was in the area, I left and returned with $60 + a tip. CVS was without lights as well. An ATM transaction is a common transaction. I will never visit this Nail Salon again !! Poor Customer Service I was Appalled. read more

After researching nail salons in the Humble/Summerwood area, I decided to call and schedule an appointment today for a full set solar with white tips (French). I was told over the phone, the price would be $30 for polish/French, however the total was $33....no worries! The wait was only a minute or two from the time I entered the salon. I spent this time browsing over the overly used polish just to familiar myself with the selection and brands. They had a few OPI, some Orly, and an abundance of brands in which I've never heard of. As soon as the technician was done with the other client, she waved me to come over and have a seat. Before I was comfortable in the chair, I noticed that the same dirty "white" towel, with what appeared to be prior pink, red, and tan nail polish stains were on the towel from clients past...I'm sure the state board would not approve of this. Additionally two long single strands of brunette hair was on the towel. The tech I assumed saw me looking in disgust and had taken the "white" towel from the other station and placed it on top of the original dirty towel. I must admit, the tech was quick as she did a decent/good job overall. My nails look as if they could have been done better as I have had better. When the time came for me to wash/brush my nails, I noticed there were two dry bins sitting next to each other with brushes, one labeled "dirty" while the other was labeled "clean". There was NO DISINFECTANT SOLUTION in neither, something the state board I'm sure would not be thrilled about! Overall, I will continue looking for a nice nail salon unless there was an emergency. The salon in my opinion needs a major update from wall paint to flooring/tile grout cleaning, to matching color decor. As the location sits right outside a very nice master planned community, the inside of the nail salon lacks the upscale/classy decor in which one would THINK they would have as an establishment right outside a nice community. The owner should visit Sweet Escape Nail Lounge or Tipsy Nails & Spa both in Sugarland, to see how a clean and classy nail salon can look!! read more

Pedicures are always nice. Came in for a full set/mani and was so disappointed with the outcome. The techs application was horrible, she used way to much powder. She made my nails really thick and just ugly square looking. There's no contour to my nail shape whatsoever. They were not filed symmetrically and missed the top coat on the corners of my nails. She was very messy with the powder, she layed it on my cuticle. And to top it off, the full set was $40 plus an additional $10 for the mani. I could have gotten more for my money elsewhere.
