Disappointed to say the least that we didn't receive a 5-star experience like others seem to have gotten! I think part of our subpar experience was due to the fact that there were only 2 servers working a Friday morning brunch. We started out with some waters and coffees. Immediately once we received our waters I noticed that all of our plastic/acrylic cups (and at other tables) had cracks all throughout the side. I was personally a little off-put by this because bacteria can harbor in those cracks and make you sick. They need to be thrown out! We also had to ask for a new bowl of creamer because they had clearly been out all morning and had spills/ were sticky from the tables before us. Okay, moving onto the food: I was impressed by the large menu! There is so much to choose from. I was pleasantly surprised to see crepes on the menu and knew I had to get them. I do wish the crepes came with a side-- I opted to add a side of scrambled eggs with cheese and was a little disappointed I was charged $5 for two eggs and a pinch of shredded cheese at the end. The food itself was pretty darn good! The crepes were very tasty and I finished them in record time. My husband enjoyed his skillet, and the rest of our party liked their food as well. The only complaint was from the men who said their pancakes were dry and tasted more like bread than pancakes. Our server would leave without coming back for long periods of time. Again, I don't blame her because she had at least 8 other tables to tend to. Once the checks came we noticed that some members of our party were charged differently for the same items. When we tried disputing it with the server, she swiftly mentioned that she forgot to charge us for a coffee which I think was her way of saying "look, don't complain about the charges, you're getting free coffee!!". Between the service and overall state of the restaurant I can't say we will be back anytime soon. Again, the food was pretty good so may opt for to-go next time! read more

Definitely do not come to this restaurant. We were the only ones in there and the waiter acted very over friendly. I am a 15 year old girl and obviously underage. He was constantly flirting with me and ignoring my boyfriend. I caught him multiple times looking down my shirt and watching me from behind the booth. The food was not good either. The pancakes were mushy and the syrup was stale. Definitely would not recommend. Considering the waiter was in his 50's, it was a very uncomfortable experience. read more

Really comfortable diner with great food and decorations. We went for breakfast. We were greeted immediately by the friendly hostess and the owner, and seated quickly. Our server, Ryan, was pleasant and gave us plenty of time to look at the menu before ordering. The portions were plentiful, and the coffee was great- not too strong and hot enough. Many people I know like this place but it was rather below average for me. We were quickly seated, however the waiter was too friendly and it became uncomfortable. He kept making sure we remembered his name and asked each person's name which felt strange. He also kept touching everyone's hands or shoulders, in a flirty way, and continually came to the table to interrupt us mid conversation. I appreciate when waiters show attention but it felt a bit excessive. I will not be returning here. read more

Outstanding Baby Back Ribs. Falling off the bones with good flavor and just the right amount of sauce. Service was spot on. My wife had pancakes eggs and hasbrowns and she's was happy. Haven't been here for a few years as we gave up on the place after repeated disappointing visits. We kept hoping it would get better. We need a good "diner" in the area to replace Mike's that went away 15 years ago and perhaps the new owners/new management has this place on right track. In any case we will be back. I judge a diner by it's meatloaf dinner: meat, mashed potatoes, and gravy. The dinner here was a B-. Good meatloaf, but a bit off flavor. Perhaps the lack of ketchup on the top? Mashed potatoes were a bit dry. Perfect gravy. Shame the place was so empty. Only one other couple in a huge restaurant. Way too big for a diner. Very friendly owner. read more

My son and I stopped in here on this rainy night...looked really cool from outside. Inside was even better! Music, games, bar and booths, decor galore! I had the gyro and ate every bite! I came in on a Sunday with my family of 3. It was slower than I expected. We had been going to Tom's diner the past few times my partner came into town. I really couldn't bare to go back to Tom's, the food was too basic and bland. I remembered coming here years ago and I suggested we dined here instead. We all got coffees. The menu was large, something for everyone. I ordered the egg Benedict with biscuits instead of the English muffin and a side of home fries. The food met my standards. It had been a while since I had eggs Benedict (my go to breakfast order), it didn't fail to satisfy my expectations. Though the waitress accidentally brought me hash browns instead of home fries it was no big deal because I was too full off my main entree. Of course she offered to change it after it was brought up for me in her presence but I insisted she didn't because I didn't want food to go to waste. If i could leave 0 stars i would. I Went in initially after an appointment across the street. I should've just went to IHOP! The potato's were under cooked and hard. The hash does were SO dry. The turkey bacon was under cooked as well, pancakes were also dry. Left super dissatisfied!!! Low quality diner food. Had a visit across the street with an Orthopedic Surgeon about my shoulder - so afterward, I stopped in here for a late breakfast on a weekday morning. Not many diners in the restaurant around 10:30 am! I ordered the sausage gravy and biscuits with two eggs over easy and a cup of coffee and water. The food came out in short order. The sausage gravy was tasty - I augmented it as I always do with black pepper and hot sauce. The eggs were cooked perfectly. The order also came with a serving of hot, crisp hash browns - which were excellent! The coffee was meh - I drank a little of it. Service was good. Great place if you like good food but don't give one about customer service. I went in with my dad the other day to eat after a funeral we had to attend and from the moment we got there this guy who's name I think is Eric, puts on this "I don't care" "Italian guy" act. While funny at first, it got annoying when he continued to interrupt my conversations with him. It felt like the whole time we were eating there he had some kind of comment to make. When I said I was the one paying I kept getting snarky remarks about my age. Card swipes, decline??? It was a perfectly good credit card and something was wrong with their system. I went elsewhere and my card was fine. My dad had to pay that bill which wasn't the intent and he makes remarks about how I planned it to not have to pay for my lunch I check my credit card today, the restaurant payment went through and we got double charged. I was a little surprised they had two girls at the hostess desk to seat people. There are quite a few big and small booths and a dining room that's spacious and open. I was impressed with the menu as they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. I decided on the Classic Ruben, you have a choice of four from corn beef to turkey and tuna. It was very good, fresh and tasty. The food came out so quick, I was really surprised. They even have an outside patio when the weather is nice. As the name might suggest, it's a 50's style diner with a 'soda shop' feel to it. They were cranking out the milk shakes. You can order on-line and pick up curb side. They expect to have delivery real soon. I was impressed by the Shelby Cobra Roadster hanging over the bar. Ivonne told me it was moving and shaking during the earthquake in August 2011. I tried this place with my dad today and was greeted with prompt and friendly service. We each got a country fried steak and eggs platter and it was very good. The home fries could have used a bit more seasoning, perhaps some onions and peppers with them but they were still good. The gravy on the steak was satisfying and the eggs were cooked beautifully. The fluffy biscuit was a nice compliment to the savory flavors of the rest of the food. As with all this, the '50s diner asthetic and old-school rock and roll music was very nice.
