The restaurant is a bright and clean farm charm. Really love the decor. Simple but clean. We order kale tonic and watermelon wake up both are bright refreshing taste. I wished the wake watermelon have more stronger ginger in it hence the wake-up. The service is just right in good pace. For Brunch we ordered 2 for you which it half sandwich and half salad or soup of your choice. I choose roast beef harverties with chicken chop avocado and Chipotle steak hash. We didn't end up eating here. We wouldn't have even if the hostess had been better, because we were not willing to wait 45 minutes or more to be seated. We've eaten at other First Watch locations and I'd guess the food is probably pretty good. That's kind of why we headed here in the first place. So, we had already parked and walked in and had a pretty good sense we wouldn't stay. But the hostess took two different groups out of line and put them on the list before acknowledging us. Then when I pointed it out, rather than apologizing she was rude and dismissive. Oh, we are just trying to speed up the process. Really? It's important to speed up a process where the next step is me waiting for 45 minutes for a table? Makes no sense to me. A friend and I needed to meet to go over some event planning, so we decided to check out First Watch, as neither of us had been able to visit since it opened. The inside is just as beautiful as the outside, and it's very spacious and bright. Our waitress was very attentive, and she made she we had enough time to explore the menu before ordering. The vast majority of the menu items prominently feature meat, so that could be limiting for those who avoid those proteins. (Yes, you could order without it, but the pricing is reflective of having meat with the dishes.) I tried the smoked salmon benedict, and it was delicious. The lemon hollandaise was very bright without being overly heavy. The side salad was also fantastic. While we were finishing our breakfast meeting, our waitress brought the check and explained the multiple ways we could pay. She made sure to note there was no rush for us to leave, although we did keep an eye on available tables to be sure groups weren't waiting to be seated. While I would certainly visit again if invited for a meal, the heavy focus on meat for the majority of dishes rather than as a side add-on is a limitation depending on dietary needs and personal preferences. read more

Tried this new restaurant (located where the old Red Robin was) and had a delightful breakfast. Plenty of interesting choices on the menu but went with my favorite "Classic Eggs Benedict ". The poached eggs were huge and cooked perfectly, not over nor undercooked. Sauce was outstanding and I ordered a side of grits with syrup and butter. Had a friendly waitress named Elke who was on top of things. The manager, Mark, stopped by for a visit and thanked me for trying them out. What more could I ask for? I have been to this First Watch location twice since it opened and both experiences have been wonderful so far. Both visits had minimal wait and there's freshly brewed coffee in the waiting area so it wasn't too bad. For entrees, we have tried the Biscuits and Turkey Sausage with Eggs, Salmon Benedict, and Multigrain Pancakes (with real maple syrup). Everything is hot and delicious when it gets to the table. The servers are nice and checks in every now and then. The coffee is amazing especially when freshly made. The prices are reasonable and the ambiance is casual. I'm just glad that there's an additional option for weekday brunch in our area. I can't wait to be back! read more

It seems to be a favorite among the locals, which is always a good sign. The food is a little pricey, but the quality and flavor made it worth it. Party of 4 on a Thursday for lunch, crowded yet seated quickly in a clean booth. Everyone was pleased with the drink orders- regular coffee and morning meditation. Food included ricotta pancakes, Belgian waffle and am super foods bowl. The turkey sausage was a little tough, asked for a replacement and they were still a bit overcooked but better. They do not have the full menu at this location yet. It was beautifully decorated but at times difficult to converse in the booth from all the noise, not sure if this is a design flaw or especially noisy customers that day. read more

I stopped around 11:15am on a Friday. The restaurant was full except outdoor seating and breakfast bar. The restaurant was clean and bright. The hostess directed me to the breakfast bar. It has about 10 mid-back stools and pretty comfortable. My server was pleasant and prompt. I ordered off the seasonal summer menu; million dollar breakfast sandwich w/t a hot honey drizzle, potatoes and Watermelon wake-up juice. My food was fresh, well prepared, large portions, and arrived in about 10-15 minutes! It was yummy. Stopped in at the new First Watch the first Monday they were open (March 2, 2026). Apparently they conducted a soft opening over the weekend. I was seated at a table and I ordered the Farmhouse Hash, as well as a couple side dishes: A biscuit with sausage gravy and a side of bacon - plus coffee. The coffee came up first - decent coffee for a restaurant. I requested real Half n' Half for my coffee (not the room temp. chemical creamers that are already on the table). They were happy to bring some out! The food came out about 10 minutes later. I added the appropriate amounts of black pepper and hot sauce to the hash and the sausage gravy. Evetything was tasty! I could not eat the whole thing - and so took the rest to go for later. When it's time to pay your bill - you have options. You can either scan the QR code on the bill and pay @ your table using your smart phone - or you can go to the register and pay there. Both options support Apple Pay. Service was excellent! What a disaster. I placed an online order at 8:40 AM, and it was supposed to be ready at 8:51 AM. When I arrived, the front host turned his back to me and didn't acknowledge me until I spoke up and asked, "Can you help me with my order?" After looking into it, I was told that my order had been given to someone else. Mistakes happen, but what was most frustrating was the complete lack of communication and customer service afterward. No one apologized for the mistake, no one told me how long it would take to remake my order, and I was left standing there wondering what was going on. When customers place orders ahead of time, they expect them to be ready and handled professionally. Unfortunately, this experience was anything but professional. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Second time going. Everything blew me away. My hubby and I are foodies and we tried to do a lunch date every Friday. Been married for 20 years. We had an amazing amazing turkey and biscuit gravy and Barbacoa tacos. Service was exceptional. Ysmael was our server and he told us so much history about the Resturant and the owners and all the food. That's basically Farm table. We started with the bloody Mary, which comes with bacon. Went to the test open months ago and today 6/28 was our first time back since. Place is very very busy so hard to accept the 60 min wait list that is pretty common there. Food was great, server (Lindsay) was great. There was a kitchen mix up, and server was very willing to make it right at all costs, but I declined her offers as it wasnt a major deal. Im pretty easy going, and her offers were above and beyond. It was appreciated without me even having to ask, even though I didnt accept. It's been years since my wife and I have eaten at a First Watch, pre-COVID at the Fairfax Fair City mall location with my parents. It was good then. So we were excited to see that First Watch was replacing that awful Red Robin on Liberia. We've gotten take-out twice, we got breakfast last week and we got some lunch today. Both experiences were great. It's awesome to finally have a nice breakfast/brunch/lunch restaurant here in Manasses. And one that isn't just a bunch of frozen, Sysco bullshit. Today, they were slammed and I hope it stays that way. I do wish there were more ways to customize our order in the iOS app. It's crazy that you can't get an omelet without meat! Also, make the the chia seed pudding in the AM Superfoods Bowls should be it's own line item. Also, when ordering items and removing the protein, it would be nice if the price reflected the removal. Paying full price for a salad, without chicken, isn't great. read more

I went there on Monday March 09,2026. I had a promotional email for a free coffee, which they didn't honor. Also, I didn't get a dedicated server. Random people came to me and served the breakfast order. I asked for a glass of water and a different person got it for me. The table was wobbly on one leg, so water kept splashing my food. Every time I moved, water splashed. Then I looked around and realized I was the only one having a bad time. I barely touched my food. I decided to leave, but before I was asked about my experience. Obviously I said it was terrible.​ It was a surprise to me that the girl at rhe cashier laughed at me. Its easier if they just say that only welcome certain cultures and backgrounds. I consider it unfair to rate a restaurant on the third day it is open but since we were waiting a long time for the owners to complete the renovation from the old Red Robin into the new First Watch we had to satisfy our curiosity about this new restaurant. Despite its newness it is clear that the restaurant has devoted itself to being ready for paying customers and the staff and food were up to the competitive environment in the Liberia Avenue restaurant corridor of Manassas. The breakfast menu was our choice and I can summarize it by saying it seems quirky. Not quirky in a bad way but quirky in a good way. It's tough to make bacon special but they have million dollar bacon which is bacon plus. Pancakes are pancakes but theirs are a little different and a little better. French toast is French toast but their fruit and flavored sauces are a little better. The staff are friendly and enthusiastic and most important: well trained and able to answer questions about the uniqueness of the offerings. Nicholas took good care of us. The prices are in line with other restaurants in our area. The waiters take orders using a pen and paper and payment can be done on a phone or if you prefer a cashier at the door will check you out No electronic games disguised as ordering machines or cash registers. The lost star was for coffee which was disappointing. A breakfast place is known for its coffee. read more
