This store's staff is 75% of the time helpful, kind and happy to assist. The other 25% of the time, it's like they would rather be anywhere but there working. The quality of their clothing has gone down hill and not just a little...I mean, we have gone from jeans that would last me for years to "I think I could get the same quality at Walmart!" bad. Their corporate customer service is an absolute joke. If you have ever dealt with these script-reading-couldn't-care-less-about-the-customer fools, you know what I'm talking about. Bottom line, it's hard to find clothes that fit just right or lay just perfectly for a plus size woman and Lane Bryant used to fulfill the need in this industry that was severely lacking but much like other industries, I imagine, the cost of materials has increased, so they find ways to cut back and at the cost of customers, no less. I don't care what anyone says: you cannot buy clothes online! At least I can't. So if it's the convenience of online shopping that has affected this retailer or not, quality of the clothing and customer service is top on my list. Price is what it is. After not finding them the first time, I asked an employee for help. I had to ask two people for help before I found them. I was disappointed at the selection available. I was able to get three pairs of shoe laces for about $7.00. I almost feel forced to recommend them because they are one of the only physical shoe stores around, and I like trying on shoes before I buy them. Today, that meant absolutely nothing. I sent my daughter money through Venmo to buy items for me. When I went to return them, the store refused to refund my card or offer any kind of reasonable solution -- even after I explained that my daughter now lives in Columbia, MO and I was just trying to avoid the ridiculous hassle of shuffling money back and forth. No empathy. No flexibility. No effort. Just a cold, policy-over-people "no." What should have been a quick, human interaction turned into a frustrating, disappointing experience that left me feeling completely dismissed as a customer. I've taken my 80 year old mother in and they were beyond patient with her, the only negative was the fitting for her was WAY OFF! It caused a slow down in fitting because the size was way too small so everything hurt her feet until we found the correct size and shoe. Numerous times I've been lucky enough to be helped by Noel and he's always so polite and efficient. He offers suggestions and is able to bring out multiple shoes at once. He will walk away but check back allowing for me to try on shoes at my pace and not feel rushed. He's truly an asset and appears to lead by example for his fellow co-workers. The return policy and VIP program are definitely worth it. It's hard to grasp it at first but in the end, it's worth the price for the rewards. I've returned shoes and socks within the 90 day window and it's the easiest process and no questions are ever asked. Today there was an error on my receipt that I noticed after checkout. I called Noel to talk about it and it appears to be a computer issue that I need to fix with the corporate office. He gave me the corporate phone number and his email just in case I need further assistance after I call corporate. As we were waiting, we were not sure how long it was going to take so we decided to just buy a pair of shoes and so an evaluation some other time. We went looking for the person that greeted us and she said she still couldn't help as she is not authorized to ring someone up. So I asked, "I just want to buy shoes, so I have to wait until they are done with their customers? She said yes. I walked up to a guy and asked, can you just ring me up? He stated, "I'm going to ring up this customer and you will have to wait until one of the associates are done as I have 3 other customers. So, I just walked out and they didn't get a sale. What that associate could have done was - "I can ring you up after I ring up this customer!" I wish they had someone hat can just ring up customers that just want to buy and go. I was not going to wait for who knows how long just to buy a shoe. I won't go to this location anymore and just order online since I have a discount with my membership. I will weigh my options with other running stores when my membership is up.

I had arranged for the suit to be picked up at a location in Florida because I was attending a wedding. Fast-forward to the day that I went to pick up my suit not only did they have the wrong shoes listed, but they did not add the tie that I had requested on the order form. Thankfully, at least the store had the right shoes. But we had to spend additional time picking out a new tie. After much back-and-forth, the location decided to give us the tie that we had selected for the inconvenience. What should have been a 20 minute visit to pick up a suit and tie turned into about an hour ordeal because things weren't written down properly and or missed.
