We wanted something that the boys would be happy to wear (they are not normally suit wearers), semi-trendy, but also handsome because the wedding was formal. I believe Nicky was the woman who helped us (it's been a few months and seems like a lifetime ago lol), she was so nice and helpful! My husband ended up getting a Navy Tux, and the boys did a Gunmetal Gray. The blue ties were perfect with our color theme and we loved the brown shoes. A few of the suits still needed altered when the suits first came in, and after the first round of alterations they looked great! I can't say enough good things - the only thing is it can get busy so always make an appointment and give yourself plenty of time. And save yourself a lot of time and stress - let the professionals put on the cufflinks ahead of time, adjust the vests, do the fancy buttons on the shirt, and adjust and fold the pocket square! As a wedding photographer I can't tell you how many times I've watched the guys stress over this and if you ask Men's Wearhouse will do this for you!! They called on the tailor in the back to help. This was an eastern european lady as I was told after. She barely tried to help. I asked for the sleeves to be shortened and more fitted - - she barely placed the needles on and did a half hearted effort to see what it would look like. Then, she turned and sneered at her friend and rolled her eyes because I asked for an alteration for the sleeves for a casual button down. Due to her abrupt, rude, unprofessional behavior, I decided not to buy the shirt. I spoke with another employee (Jackson). He tried to explain "She's from Eastern Europe and very blunt. If you ask for things she is not used to, you will get made fun of." After I purchased another shirt I liked, Jackson apologized for her behavior which I appreciated and offered to help me next time I come in. Unfortunately, this will be the last time I visit a Men's Wearhouse. I have been to Nordstrom Rack before and the lady tailors there took one good look at me in some of the shirts and told me they look too baggy and would benefit from altering. They were kind and presented options in a reasonable way. Respect your customers and offer good customer service - they will return and give you great word of mouth.

We had gone to another shop and when we came to this store we were immediately impressed with their tie and tuxedo selection. We were able to try on tuxes and find the styles that we wanted. Ed was able to spend a lot of time with us. We chose the style we wanted and decided on having each of our groomsmen wear a different tie color. The only difficulty came when our groomsmen waited until the last minute to get measured for their tuxedos, but blame should go to our wedding party and not the shop. My sister wanted to be dressed like everyone else in the wedding in a tuxedo and they were able fulfill her request without any issues. Most people cannot say that they have a two year relationship with their tuxedo rental company but that's what happened to us. We first went into their store in early March 2020. After the pandemic hit we were forced to delay our wedding twice. Ed and everyone at Gentlemen's Quarters Formalwear were easy to work and communicate with. Phones, voicemails, and emails were answered timely. Both times we had to postpone our wedding, our arrangements and deposits were honored and shifted to our new date. Everything turned out the way we originally wanted. I highly recommend Gentlemen's Quarters Formalwear for weddings, proms, or any other important event.

The store was pretty vibrant with customers also and that was good to see for a good 'ol fashioned brick-and-mortar store. It's also a bright, clean, neat, and airy store. I ended up buying a pair of Brooks gym shoes and Macy's athletic shoe supply is provided these days by Finish Line, an affiliated vendor to Macy's. I'm also excited to try the well regarded Brooks brand as I have never done so in some 70 years of gym shoe wear lol. I was helped by a friendly young lady named Valerie and it was refreshing to have someone bring out some selections with the right sizes etc, and it nicely felt like the good old days before AI and useless chat-bots. I found Zeglio by accident years ago when I needed to get a cheap tuxedo altered for my sister's wedding. When I walked in, I was quickly greeted by Richard. He happily suggested a nearby place for alterations, but before I left, he put one of Zeglio's bespoke jackets on me to show me the difference in fit. When I left that day, I knew I wanted to have my wedding tuxedo created by these people. When that day finally came, I called Zeglio's Lakeview location to begin the process. My call was warmly answered by Richard and the experience began. Richard is an incredibly talented and knowledgeable designer. During the design portion, he was informative, patient, and considerate, which made the whole experience really enjoyable. I did my fitting and alterations at Zeglio's store in Loop. The place is super slick inside and the tailors really make you feel important: from the professionalism all the way to the small details most people would overlook, but makes a HUGE difference (suggesting I have the length of one of my shirt sleeves shorter than the other so my watch can be visible or altering the length of my pants so my socks show when I'm sitting down). Just an amazing attention to detail! My tuxedo only required a few minor adjustments. When I finally put everything on I was shocked at how flawless everything felt--I've never worn anything that has fit me so perfectly. This tuxedo made my wedding experience so much better. I wasn't nervous because I knew I looked good! It's amazing how your confidence is affected by the clothing you wear in a situation.
