The salesman was very nice and helpful. I ended up buying 1 shirt and 2 pair of socks. I was in a hurry and didn't pay enough attention to the bill total. I wrapped the shirt and socks and gave them to my hubby. But when I was going through my bills a month later, I noticed they had charged me for 2 shirts plus the socks! When I went to the store to explain, the regional manager was there and asked me where the shirt was. I said I never had it. It was not in my bag, and since I wasn't expecting there to be 2 shirts in there it had seemed fine at the time. She was very curt with me and said it would take awhile to look into it, review the tapes, look at the inventory, etc. She then called me the very next day! And told me basically that I was a liar and that based on their information, they had no evidence to say there was an issue. I work in retail and we have video cameras pointing right at the cash wrap. We've referred to them more than once, but it does take time. Either they have no video surveillance, or they are lying to me. I think they are lying. They tried to offer me a 15% off coupon on my next purchase. What a joke. I was eager to help out a new business and I got screwed. There are plenty of nice men's shirt stores. Don't bother with this one. Stay away because they don't care one bit about you.

The shirts are limited run and always great styles! You can even have a personal stylist and do their "Shirt of the month club" which I highly recommend! Sorry, ladies, this one is for the men... Finally! . Go here and find some great shirts, jeans, socks and many other things!

I had one of the worst retail experiences I've ever had at the SKIMS store in Oakbrook Mall. I've…read morenever been treated this poorly in any retail environment. From the moment I interacted with Melanie, she seemed completely uninterested in helping me. When I explained that I was looking for a long sleeve black cotton top, she tried to sell me a pajama set instead. When I clarified again what I wanted, she rolled her eyes and said she would "get it." She then asked for my size. When I said "extra small," she paused, looked me up and down, and then walked away without saying anything. When she returned with the top, she grabbed it from the drawer and tossed it onto the counter before walking off to assist another customer. The whole interaction felt dismissive, passive aggressive, and extremely unprofessional. As someone who works in healthcare and interacts with people all day, I would never treat anyone the way I felt I was treated. Thankfully, Alyssa stepped in and completely turned the experience around. She was kind, attentive, and apologetic, and she helped me with everything I needed. She mentioned they had a large shipment earlier that morning, but even if that was true, it doesn't excuse the behavior I experienced. SKIMS as a brand promotes body positivity and inclusivity, yet in that moment I felt uncomfortable, unwelcome, and judged. The atmosphere felt tense, and I left feeling worse than when I arrived. I will not be returning to this location unless things change. Alyssa deserves recognition for her professionalism and patience and I truly hope the store addresses what happened. And I praise Alyssa for her mental capacity to be working with Melanie.
