I had a very nice experience shopping for my wedding gown at this David's Bridal in Naperville. They were very accommodating and really put the bride first. No matter what my concern was, they immediately put my mind at ease and understood where I was coming from. I had a breezy time selecting my dream gown and the alterations was a positive experience where the alterations manager made certain that I was happy with all aspects of the dress fit. I liked David's Bridal because I needed a dress fairly quickly within 3 months. They have some more affordable designer options. My dress was Oleg Cassini, and I was able to stay working my budget and get a designer dress.

Finally found my bridesmaid dress! Awesome help from David's Bridal in Aurora!

I have been looking for a grey bridesmaids dress forever and have not found one. At this point, the wedding will be next month on the 21st and I was starting to panic. I just wanted something fitted that was flattering. Hard to believe that there were no stores almost anywhere on earth that carried a nice grey lace dress until I looked online. I needed the dress asap so I decided to go to the David's Bridal location near me (Aurora). Sales associate Kristina L helped me gather dresses in styles I might be interested in (lace and grey) and also helped me when I needed assistance getting in and out of dresses. What was great was that I found what I was looking for-a grey lace dress that was flattering and that it was on clearance for $50 when I even went as far as buying a $109 dress that did not look good on me at all from ASOS. So I was happy spending that $50 already. The dress needed to have its hook and eye re-sewn since it was falling apart, but Kristina L said they could get it done in just a few minutes. I did not wait long at all and the dress was ready to buy. The hook and eye were sewn on just right. Another awesome thing was that I could just buy the dress right then and there. The dress has a simple style that can be used again for other occasions also. When Kristina rung me up, it turned out that the dress was marked for an even lower price than what she originally told me. The dress was $32.46 with tax. How do you beat that?! Kristina L. was nice, helpful, the store's selection and styles were great, they were able to reinforce the hook and eye so that it was secure, and I was able to get my dress that very day without any fuss of measuring or ordering. David's Bridal really saved me from the bridesmaid-dress hunting mess! Thank you so much! I am very happy with my purchase.

The workers here were extremely rude and judge mental. They were talking bad about me while I was trying on dresses. I would NOT recommend.

I walked around the entire store and not once did any sales person acknowledge or ask me if I needed help but they fawned over every other customer there. I was the only non Caucasian customer, btw. And every salesperson there is Caucasian. Like I said, this wouldn't be so obvious if it didn't happen EVERY SINGLE TIME I have walked in. Never again. Mediocre overpriced clothes anyway. I'd rather take my business elsewhere where people aren't so blatantly rude and prejudiced. And not that this matters, but I was dressed properly and had on a designer handbag (in case they were wondering if I had any money to pay for their items )

They do not carry plus sizes in store, but they have many similar pieces available so you can see the quality, fabrics, and fit in person before ordering online, which I really appreciate. I definitely recommend checking out Anthropologie if you're looking for something beautiful and unique, whether it's for yourself, family, friends, or especially a special gift. When I received an email that there was a 50% off sale, I decided to visit the Naperville store to check out the new winter coats. The store was well organized and a good variety of sizes and styles. We were promptly greeted by associate #956617 (sorry didn't catch her name, but her number was on the receipt) who was very helpful. The Superior Parka caught my eye in a Bronze color. Unfortunately there wasn't one on the floor in that color. Luckily secret agent #956617 scoured the back room and found one in my size and color tucked away. My latest addition to parka collection is in the closet awaiting cold weather to be put to use. It's actually quite amazing how my Eddie Bauer coats have held up over the years, as none look any worse for wear and tear. I find it an incredible value to have jackets literally lasting for decades and a testament to their quality. I'll be donating a few jackets to charity with confidence they will keep the new owners warm and serve them well.

I am far prior to that stage of life and am here to tell you that this store has much about it to like. For one thing, their habit of cutting tops and jackets in loose, boxy shapes is improving; styles are looking more fitted in recent times, so that quilted jacket doesn't look like it could double as a microwave cozy. I particularly love the Travelers line: skirts, dresses and so on made of a microfiber that doesn't wrinkle, so you can wad it up and throw it in a suitcase and it will forgive you. I've had a skirt from this line for several years that's calf length and printed with bold flowers; it still looks stylish, i get compliments on it all the time, it flows beautifully and no wrinkles! Chico's really has great jewelry: if you like big, bold, unique and interesting pieces, check it out. I was told recently that they got a new buyer and their style is being reflected in the jewelry choices. Along with jewelry I will include accessories: I am not normally a belt person, but I found a FABULOUS metal-accented belt there that I have been wearing with various skirts and jeans; quite literally, every time I have worn it I've gotten at least one compliment on it, generally more, and I love it, so it was definitely a worthwhile purchase. I bought a second belt but it didn't quite work (stiffness made for difficult adjustment, and also it just didn't sit right on the couple of pants that I was going to wear it with), so I had to return it. Easiest and fastest return I ever had to make anywhere, so the staff is to be commended. The staff is to be commended in general for personable and efficient service. Jeanine helped me both on my shopping day and today when I made my return, so kudos to her for good work. The downsides here: price range is on the high side. Also, they have a weird size scale, (0,1,2 & 3, with some half sizes on some items), so it takes a bit of work to determine where you may fall. Overall, unique pieces and friendly service add up to a nice shopping experience. Though I am on the younger end of their clientele, I will check out Chico's particularly for unusual jewelry, accessories and the Travelers line.
