Especially when national stores such as Neiman Marcus, Tory Burch, Anthropologie, Kate Spade, J Crew, Nordstrom, etc., etc., have actual year round, fantastic sales and/or gifts with purchase, it doesn't seem necessary to buy what all too often wears like a "seconds" quality from a second tier outlet. Not so at Eileen Fisher. I'm not certain where the "Company" comes in to the fold, since quality and style at the outlet, so to speak, appears the exact same as EF on sale at NM, etc. Either I'm a complete fool, or they're the real thing on a clearance sale. Most items are in no ways cheap or fast fashion prices. EF sells the classics in natural fibers and recycled fabrics. It's not unusual to see a cozy soft Fall coat made of Alpaca and sewn in Italy to a Tencel jersey dress cut & sewn in NYC, knit & dyed in Montreal. Each clothing label tells how the fabric was responsibly made and the final product manufacturing that went into completing each item sold. Be forewarned, the store is packed to the brim, and dressing rooms force a waiting line, albeit, an efficient waiting line. Especially during one of their fantastic (advertised) sales and sample sales. It's worth the wait, and worth one's time combing the racks for something sharp, fashion forward, well made and comfy. For shorter girls, they have a lot of petite items and for taller girls, there's a huge amount of regular sizes. Same for style. There's things for grandma's, 20-something's and everyone in between. A great store all-around, and what's best about the brand is their clothes last and last longer than you want to wear them. They also have an exchange policy of $5.00 towards new EF's, which I'm not certain how that works, other than I am familiar in the quality of their clothes which endure and can thus be recycled from one wearer to another. No fast fashion to sadly end up in a landfill, here. EF clothes can potentially last a lifetime!

If you're searching for the best boutique for womens clothing I will recommend it to you. They have a great product. They have a different design and variety of dress and clothes. The surrounding was clean and the atmosphere was chill. The lighting was perfect to make it look elegant. They are so organized in every selection. The customer service was great. There are staff who will accommodate you and help you. They will also recommend some tips for you if you can't choose what to buy. They will also talk about their products. So that makes it a great service. I just bought a dress for my church outfit. It looks simple and perfect in the church. The price was a bit expensive so expect that it has a good quality of fabric on their clothes. You will not regret going and shopping here I assure you. I will definitely be back here again. read more

However, the store in the Schuamburg Shopping Mall was the greatest and the most customer-focused! A BIGGGGGGG SHOUT out to Neriza, the Opening Manager who provided superior service and her Store Manager, which I must also congratulate for running a top flight store. I figured she must be confused since there was nowhere in Wilmette that made sense to put a Love Shack Fancy, but she was correct. About a month later I heard that they would be turning Wilmette's Plaza de Lago into a shoppers paradise, which included Love Shack Fancy! There's so many amazing stores going into Plaza de Lago, but all my 14 year out cares about is Love Shack Fancy and she's been eagerly awaiting opening day. I went to exchange and return a few full price items I got with my 20% coupon last month and the manager walked by and said I could not do an exchange since a used a coupon and now the coupon is expired. What? Since when is that a thing? Multiple people in the store told me what I was doing was fine already, its a normal exchange of full priced items, with tags, unworn that I happened to order with a 20% off coupon. I'm like "what? that's seems odd, what if something doesn't fit? "You can only return not exchange or you pay the difference." "What if something came damaged?" "You would have to return it, no exchange" What...? that's like the opposite of lululemons entire warranty policy. Also please note he is being rude, not even looking at me when saying this and just being dismissive and curt. At this point I'm anxious AF and want to get out of there so I end up just returning everything and leaving. I know I'm my gut he was wrong and I find the email with the coupon and what do I see?! HOLIDAY RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLCIY APPLIES. Which is legit just more than the normal 30 days and I was at day 26. So I go back in and ask the girl for that guys name because he was wrong and now I returned all that for nothing and lost my coupon. She is like...you will have to speak with him (ahh so he is the manager). At this point I'm so nervous and awkward that my hands are shaking a little and my heart is racing. He reads it FOREVER only to tell me I'm reading it wrong, he doesn't see what I'm talking about. "How am I reading it wrong? It says HOLIDAY RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLCIY APPLIES" The girl chimes in and says yeah and that's actually the extended one with more days. He dismisses her and keeps reading it like it's some secret code impossible to understand only to tell me that it has nothing to do with the coupon and the blurb is on all lululemon emails even the ones without coupons. "What?? No it's the actual coupon disclaimer, the entire paragraph is talking about the coupon rules, that wouldn't be a staple of every single lululemon email" I realize this guy is not going to do anything so its time for me to go and I turn to the girl and say "I'm not mad at you, you were nice" (why did I feel the need to tell her that? Idk because i over think things) but then I turn to him and say "but you're an a$$hole, what's your name?" "WOW!!!!!! GET OUT OF MY STORE!!!" Your store? Really? "I will just tell me your name" "No." Looks to girl "please just tell me his name" ‍ she gives me a "he's my manager shrug" and looks away awkwardly. Next thing I know the manager is saying "I'm calling security!!!" What??? Security??? I'm not even yelling, I'm standing here with my shaky nervous hands in the pockets of my cost but you need to call security? "What? You're gonna call security?" "Yep! SOMEONE CALL SECURITY!" "Umm ok?" I turn around awkwardly and walk away in embarrassed silence. Did I really get kicked out of a store??? Am I a Karen? Should I have called him an a$$hole? No, probably not but I had a bad day and he was being an a$$hole lol. He was gaslighting me and could not accept the fact that he was wrong. Treat people how you want to be treated as they say. I stopped in on Saturday 4/25/26 for an exchange. We had to search for an associate, to start off. Some were behind the counter on their phones, chit chatting with each other, or hiding behind racks. I felt like I was in a sea of employees with none to be found- strangest experience. I unfortunately found a counter with a lady named Cathy behind it. Cathy falls in top five worst shopping experiences I've ever had. She immediately profiled me, it was actually disturbing. Without letting me say a word about my exchange, she went on and on about why is it her problem and she's a "rule follower". She wouldn't even take the time to pull up my personal book or my mother in laws, who gifted them to my husband. Also, keep in mind, there are no "rules" when it comes to Nordstroms return policy. She was strictly there to give me a hard time and make me feel like I was doing something wrong. Things only went downhill from there when she called her MIC. A male named Eric I believe? African American with a beard. He came down with a quickness and never made eye contact with me once. The two of them together couldn't make one good manager. I found him to be cowardly and an example of the company's poor onboarding & training. It's not too late to invest in a leadership program, let me know if you're interested. My three items were like-new and only tried on. My husband has a bad habit of washing all his clothes before he wears them. He did exactly that in September 2025 to realize the pants fit him poorly on the legs. Since when is that a crime or not allowed? I've posted the return policy directly from their website with my review. It's clear that Cathy and her MIC were only trying to give me, and likely many other customers, a hard time and not service. So much for playing by the rules.
