At last, the wait is over! The store opened October 26, 2018 and is located inside Woodfield mall, Schaumburg. Sadly, I didn't get to go to the opening but got to visit right after it opened a few days. The store is neat and clean. So much convenient for me now as I don't have to drive all the way to downtown Chicago just to pick up a tee shirt or two. I love how they have kids clothing too as I have a son so I can also shop for him. Their merchandise are awesome as ever and definitely will be back to check out new arrivals. Service was also good. All in all, I'm glad for this store being near me now.

Have you noticed that so many of the baby girls you see out and about have little bloomers that…read morematch their dresses? "Where can I get those?" you might ask. "How can I put my kid in a dress without her diaper showing?" Well, you can get them at Gymboree. They also have boy clothes here, but the girl clothes are what really sets this place apart because you can get oodles of matching accessories. While they are pricey, they do have some great sales, and the high-quality fabrics make it a good buy if you do end up paying full price. Because the full matching outfit sets (for example, a dress and a romper with matching diaper cover, hat, headband, and shoes or booties) are so coveted, people will get nasty trying to get them during a sale. On a recent visit, one woman bumped my stroller and pushed me out of her way to grab the last romper in a certain pattern (relax, b*tch, my baby is already out of that size)! Luckily, my kid was not in the stroller but being held by her papa, so I didn't have to rip that woman's face off and cram it up her crusty butt hole. Still--not OK! Try to come in during off-peak hours to avoid some of the crazier clientele and avoid fisticuffs. The store is also very well organized. The staff is on top of keeping sizes in their correct sections, and there are not clothes scattered across the floor. Things are generally easy to find, unlike the clothing departments of most of the big box baby stores. Note: this is not a location that has play events. They do have information here about what locations do offer them, though.

Cute store. I hadn't heard of it until wandering around Woodfield and a friend pointed it out…read more There were some cute things, but I refrained. They had some cute holiday dresses we don't have a bunch of parties or family gatherings so I'm not sure if I need another one. They had a good selection of stuff for boys, as well, which is something that can be hard to find (my friend laments about the difficulty of finding cute things for boys, and it is indeed much harder than finding cute clothing for little girls). Though the store had a lot of seasonal stuff they also had some more everyday wear. And they had the most adorable dresses--Snow White, Cinderella, perhaps Tiana and maybe even Aurora (though I'm not sure about that last since it was sleeveless). I would have thought these were for Halloween but there were so many of them that doesn't seem possible. My little one was Snow White last year for her first Halloween, and these dresses really nice quality.

(They have many so-called "clothes on sale" but this is a misnomer. Sale prices equate to normal prices elsewhere). But when I'm looking for an outfit for a special occasion, like Easter, I head here. I got an adorable dress, coordinating onesie, tights and Easter hat. It was worth every penny.

I would prefer quality clothes over quantity that just fall apart easily and not them having a campaign just for a moment to "teach" customers how to sew/mend their brand new purchased items, which is something that everyone should know how to do, but I shouldn't have to purchase a new wardrobe that only last barely once when I wanna keep them for a lifetime and when it comes to managing staff/training new employees. It's like throwing dogs into the wolves, especially on sale days WS/SS(winter sale & summer sale) where we are the most busiest and a company that wants to push for inclusivity, diversity and mental health most people that have worked there that I have seen only want to cause drama(unprofessional) about old useless arguments that has to do with personal reasons and a lot of bickering, but I would say I did love the hospitality of surgeon employees and I have seen good wholesome customers come and shop with us as well. It was also nice to assist them during work travels, but not when it came to only sending a few people to try to help stores that are absolutely falling apart other states just make a quota w/ extremely low staff members. Caring about the human being comes first, not dragging them to the ground to be the next carbon machine. Thank You.

I came here with my family and we all were able to find something we liked (especially with the jean sale!) and i'm surprised with the reviews this store currently has because my experience was nice. There were three specific employees that went beyond great in customer service and although I didn't get their names it was someone with bleached blonde hair, and two girls in the front around 8:30 at night putting away jeans. All of them were so nice and helpful in finding jean sizes for me and even thought it was before closing! The only issue i had was with the lady who rung me up (sadly i got no name but she's south asian) and i was trying to be friendly with her and asking her how her day was and she stared at me like I said I hope she has a horrible day or something. I totally get being tired after a long day but when I even placed my jeans on the counter after she rung up one she looked at the other pair and said in a very sarcastic tone "you want this too?" and i said i would. Again, I get being tired, as someone who's also worked in customer service in a busy store but also it's quite disappointing how she spoke to me. There was also a mishap with the second pair of jeans not having a scanner tag and she was trying to put it in but after a while my mom and sister asked if she would like for them to get her a different pair and she said yes, they came back with a size smaller (as there was no bigger sizes on the floor) and she asked in again a sarcastic tone "so you want this size instead?" and once they left to see if they could find another one she finally brought up the scanning code. I get this might be because of an inventory issue but again, what was the attitude for? My family and I were trying to accommodate for the missing tag and she just seemed like she didn't need to be checking people out with that attitude. Otherwise I had a great experience! Although there was a small hiccup i'd definitely come again! (Just maybe at a different time lol)
