"How can I put my kid in a dress without her diaper showing?" Well, you can get them at Gymboree. They also have boy clothes here, but the girl clothes are what really sets this place apart because you can get oodles of matching accessories. While they are pricey, they do have some great sales, and the high-quality fabrics make it a good buy if you do end up paying full price. Because the full matching outfit sets (for example, a dress and a romper with matching diaper cover, hat, headband, and shoes or booties) are so coveted, people will get nasty trying to get them during a sale. On a recent visit, one woman bumped my stroller and pushed me out of her way to grab the last romper in a certain pattern (relax, b*tch, my baby is already out of that size)! Luckily, my kid was not in the stroller but being held by her papa, so I didn't have to rip that woman's face off and cram it up her crusty butt hole. Still--not OK! Try to come in during off-peak hours to avoid some of the crazier clientele and avoid fisticuffs. The store is also very well organized. The staff is on top of keeping sizes in their correct sections, and there are not clothes scattered across the floor. Things are generally easy to find, unlike the clothing departments of most of the big box baby stores. Note: this is not a location that has play events. They do have information here about what locations do offer them, though.

She called me and said there was a long line at Zara & she was near the front of the line. Out of curiosity I moseyed on over. We found out that Zara has their annual sale this time of year in January. Evidently a lot of people knew about looking at the line outside of Zara waiting to get in. When I got there she was a couple of people from the front (great timing). It's not like I needed anything but I thought what the heck why not take a look. When we got into the store I quickly looked around the store front to back and noticed that they had nothing but women's clothes? I asked someone if they had men's clothes. They mentioned that the men's section is on the other side of the cased opening. As I perused the clothes, shirts (don't need any), pants (don't need any), coats (don't need), Just kind of killing time while my wife was shopping or so I thought. That's when I saw a long hooded winter coat. I have a heavy wool coat that I use when I get dressed up and play adult to go out but it's seen better days. I wanted & needed a long warm winter over coat. I found a coat that I really liked and best of all the price was reduced to $69.99 reduced $100 from the original price. The only problem was the zipper was jammed & wasn't working properly. I tried 3 different coats before finally finding one that works. I did find a salesgirl named Adi that was very patient & helpful w/trying to find a coat w/a zipper that worked. When we came out of the store there was a long line of people trying to get in. Like I said this was the first time I had ever been to a Zara store, but I'm glad I stopped in despite the issue w/the zipper I managed to buy the coat and at the same time I saved $100

I have worked for this company for three years and I would say the fashion aspect is very amazing…read moreand worth investing in good quality materials, but when it comes to this company since it is ran by Israel and fast fashion is their motto. I would prefer quality clothes over quantity that just fall apart easily and not them having a campaign just for a moment to "teach" customers how to sew/mend their brand new purchased items, which is something that everyone should know how to do, but I shouldn't have to purchase a new wardrobe that only last barely once when I wanna keep them for a lifetime and when it comes to managing staff/training new employees. It's like throwing dogs into the wolves, especially on sale days WS/SS(winter sale & summer sale) where we are the most busiest and a company that wants to push for inclusivity, diversity and mental health most people that have worked there that I have seen only want to cause drama(unprofessional) about old useless arguments that has to do with personal reasons and a lot of bickering, but I would say I did love the hospitality of surgeon employees and I have seen good wholesome customers come and shop with us as well. It was also nice to assist them during work travels, but not when it came to only sending a few people to try to help stores that are absolutely falling apart other states just make a quota w/ extremely low staff members. Caring about the human being comes first, not dragging them to the ground to be the next carbon machine. Thank You.

I came here with my family and we all were able to find something we liked (especially with the jean sale!) and i'm surprised with the reviews this store currently has because my experience was nice. There were three specific employees that went beyond great in customer service and although I didn't get their names it was someone with bleached blonde hair, and two girls in the front around 8:30 at night putting away jeans. All of them were so nice and helpful in finding jean sizes for me and even thought it was before closing! The only issue i had was with the lady who rung me up (sadly i got no name but she's south asian) and i was trying to be friendly with her and asking her how her day was and she stared at me like I said I hope she has a horrible day or something. I totally get being tired after a long day but when I even placed my jeans on the counter after she rung up one she looked at the other pair and said in a very sarcastic tone "you want this too?" and i said i would. Again, I get being tired, as someone who's also worked in customer service in a busy store but also it's quite disappointing how she spoke to me. There was also a mishap with the second pair of jeans not having a scanner tag and she was trying to put it in but after a while my mom and sister asked if she would like for them to get her a different pair and she said yes, they came back with a size smaller (as there was no bigger sizes on the floor) and she asked in again a sarcastic tone "so you want this size instead?" and once they left to see if they could find another one she finally brought up the scanning code. I get this might be because of an inventory issue but again, what was the attitude for? My family and I were trying to accommodate for the missing tag and she just seemed like she didn't need to be checking people out with that attitude. Otherwise I had a great experience! Although there was a small hiccup i'd definitely come again! (Just maybe at a different time lol)

From their HeatTech stuff to their sweatshirts, button ups, and jackets, I'm in love with their aesthetic. I'm super bummed their flagship multi story store closed on Michigan Ave in the city early last year as this makes it harder to shop for what I'm looking for. While, they do have a downtown location still in The Loop, this is usually the other alternative which is a pain to get to from the city, but it has a decent selection still. The employees I interacted with in my most recent time here were helpful and friendly so no complaints there either. Please re-open another location in the city though (maybe West Loop?)!

If you go during busy hours, of course expect to wait a long time if you want to try on anything. If you find anything you want, buy it quickly as things sell out fast. If you are lucky enough to find something on sale in your size, snatch it up. The store is well organized but a lot of the popular sizes do sell out quickly in preferred styles. Checkout is still relatively fast because it's so automated with you being to just put everything in and the machines do all the work for you. I did an online in store purchase and was waiting a while as there was an extra associate who was able to help, but didn't acknowledge me until the other lead at the register told him to assist me. If you do purchase online and need to do a return in store, they will just give you a gift card as they won't credit your original card.

I don't fit that traditional female stereotype of 'fashionista' or 'shop-a-holic'. I abhor retail…read moreshopping with all of my being. That being said, I waited until my last pair of jeans split up with me (and themselves) after 7 glorious years together, before facing the reality of jeans shopping. I'm 5'11", I lift weights (meaning I have a muscular body) and I have a 37" inseam. This basically makes me an anomaly in the world of pants. I have a thin waist, thick (strong) legs, and to further complicate things...a booty. So I begrudgingly (after cleaning everything in my apartment as an excuse to delay the endeavor) made my way to Woodfield, parking as far from the entrance as possible, while still being on property. My recently departed jeans were originally adopted at the Buckle, and I know they're one of the only stores who caters to individuals afflicted with "height". I walked in and was immediately offered help from Liz. I cited the parameters of my quandary, complete with photos of my old tags, and she quickly compiled a stack of potentials for me to try. First pair: They were 'skinny' jeans. It was almost comical (ok, completely comical) to see me in them. My quads stretched the material to its max, threatening its well being, while the waist hung loosely around my stomach, revealing my skivvies without warrant. Liz and two other associates gasped in horror, and one exclaimed "you have really large quads...." I quickly shed the hipster atrocity and ventured on to a pair of Buckle "Black" jeans with a 37.5" inseam. I stepped out of the fitting room, and time stood still. These hugged my muscles and curves perfectly, but still were a tad loose in the waist. Liz to the rescue, bringing a size down (I didn't think this ever happened). Size down was a perfect fit. When I had them on, I wanted to date me. Liz helped me find a total of 4 pairs of jeans (mind you, I've lived with only one pair that fit me the last 4-5 years) and helped me sign up for the store card (to save 10%). She also assisted me in my exploration of their clearance section- ultimately resulting in a really awesome pair of jeans for a fraction of the cost of the amazing Buckle Black jeans (which I purchased in two washes). In summation, the Buckle, and Liz, turned a situation I was dreading into a truly great experience. I came in listing my body as a problem, and walked out with 4 solutions that made me feel phenomenal! The jeans are expensive, but they are high quality, and the service is second to none. If you ever have found it difficult to find the right fit for you, I can honestly say there's no better place to trust when it comes to complimenting ANY body with the right jeans.
