I just purchased a baptism outfit for my son from this store after it being highly recommended by a friend. We went in 2 weeks ago on a Saturday and found one that we absolutely loved. It was cream color with blue trim. Ivette (I believe she's the owner?) said she wasn't sure we'd be able to get it in time as it's coming from England but she'd verify with the manufacturer on Monday and let me know before taking payment. She showed us several other options in a catalogue and we didn't like any of them. Monday she lets me know that the outfit should come on time - as a backup plan, I said I'd be happy to take the floor model from her store and have some alterations done as it was a little big for him. Earlier this week she called to let me know the outfit came in, so we went to pick it up today and to my dismay, it was not the right outfit. It was the same outfit in solid cream with no blue trim - we discussed how much I liked the blue trim at length, and she even texted me a picture of the outfit with the blue to confirm that was the correct one (screen shot of text below). When she brought out the solid cream outfit my mom and I both said that's not the one we ordered. She got extremely defensive and argumentative, blaming me!! Saying that was the outfit I ordered and basically it's not her problem. I understand mistakes happen and I would have respected her if she admitted something got lost in translation - instead she continued to blame me and tell me it's not her fault I didn't look at the wording on the invoice. Which by the way, said "ivory". The outfit is ivory but with blue trim. She claimed that she sent the picture of the outfit via text to show me the one from the store that I've already seen - that's a lie; she sent it with the invoice to confirm that was the right one. And Apparently I'm supposed to know that she baited and switched my order and also know how the manufacturer words their colors on invoices. It's obvious to me that she just wanted to charge me $400 for an outfit that's sold for $200 online. She continued to say that i was being disrespectful when all she was doing was LYING about what I really ordered. I could tell she knew she made a mistake the minute we walked in the door. We ended up taking the floor model which will require significant alterations on my dime. She didn't offer up any kind of a discount for taking the outfit that's been hanging in her store for so long, but she slammed $20 on the counter as a refund for the shipping for the WRONG OUTFIT (fun fact, the shipping was $27 hut what's $7 at this point?). This place is an absolute joke and Ivette is a complete liar and scammer and overpriced. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND this place. read more

Hi Yelpies! I came in today to browse through their selection of flower girl dresses for my 4 year old and 1 year old. I was greeted warmly by a young lady and she asked me what I was looking for. I'm very specific (Type A) so I told what I like and don't like. Sure enough, we did find 2 dresses that were waaaaaay under my budget. We got 2 dresses with a sash for under $150. I had budgeted $500 for flower girl dresses and that extra $350 in my pocket felt good. The service was great, aside from the young lady, there was an older lady and she was so sweet and friendly to my husband and I while checking out. I definitely recommend this place for their pricing and customer service. I was a little hesitant coming in because of all the bad reviews they got but I'm glad I gave them a chance. We visited this store on a Friday, many dresses to choose from right off the rack! They offered an array of dresses for First Communion in many sizes and styles even having a refreshing handful of extended sizes above the standardly stocked size 12 ... we found many in sizes 14 and 16 (much appreciated) and were pleased to try on, select and leave the same day with the dress. Mia was very attentive with pulling sizes and making my daughter feel special. We also obtained the veil and tiara while there. A must check out if you are seeking reasonable, but embellished not plain wear for First Communion, Baptism or even a Flower Girl dress. A one stop shop and worth the drive. Found a one of a kind, most unique and stand out Christening gown for our little princess here. I've searched all over, including websites, boutiques and other stores for the one. I couldn't find what I liked. I walked into the store and immediately found the most perfect extravagant gown. And, the price was entirely reasonable for the quality. The store also carries beautiful booties, gowns, headpieces and etc to match the gowns. In addition, they carry beautiful clothes from brands such as Baby Biscotti and the like. It is just an amazing find. Everything down to the beautiful headpieces and socks and stockings, etc. I cannot recommend this place enough. We could have went to a big department store but we would have never received the service, support and selection offered at Bebe Elegante. The ladies were extremely kind and they were able to provide detailed insight of dresses and accessories. They were so friendly and allowed my daughter to choose the dress which fit her best and DID NOT ever try to upsell her. I recently purchased my daughter's communion dress here. We had to do a special order because they did not have the dress we wanted in her size. The ladies here were very nice, professional and helpful. On my first visit, we tried on several dresses and the one I wanted, they did not have in her size. Not wanting to order a dress before trying it on, I decided to visit another boutique where (1) they had the dress and (2) they had the size! I would have purchased it there on the spot, but the women in the other boutique were just awful, so i came back to Bebe Elegante to order the dress (phone order). The dress came in on time and I was very happy with the service I received. I had an AMAZING experience at this place. I had a hard time shopping for a baptismal outfit for my godson. Once I walked inside the store, I was surprised to see the huge selection they had for baptismal outfits for boys! Most places only had less than 4 outfits to select from compared to the girls. Also, the customer service was spectacular. The sales woman was very patient and helped me pick out the right size for my godson. Really disappointing experience here. They measured my daughter and said to order a size 2 dress flower girl dress ($200 dress) and it came 8 weeks later and was so small I couldn't even zip up the back. She is a petite 2 year old. Since they said I signed the paper work, they wouldn't let me return it and they wouldn't order a difference size and have it rushed for us for the wedding. They told me I was l was lucky they were letting me exchange it for a size 4 off the rack (same dress but visibly was in the store a long time, did not look as nice or new as the one I ordered and paid full price for). The girl working in the store said my daughter must have grown 2 sizes in 8 weeks. Please! I asked to at least be refunded to receive the "off the rack" discount and was denied. Will not be going back for anything in the future. read more

Beautiful store. Great selection of communion dresses. Only here I could finally find that special dress of a particular style we needed. Prices are reasonable - between $50 - $200, depending on a style. One can also buy matching accessories, shoes, crown etc. Good fabric quality. However, the flower crown we needed was a bit pricey. We ended up buying one at a European ( Polish) store on Belmont and Central for twice as cheap. I have referred my friends to check out Bebe Elegante for their kids. I was a little hesitant to visit the store after seeing the other review. However, overall I had a good experience. The store was empty when I went in, so I was surprised that it took a little while for someone to come out of the back and acknowledge me. I worked with two women, one helped me search and the other rang me up (internal controls maybe?). The selection of dresses with color was not very wide, but there were tons of white/christening/bridal type dresses. The price range was kind of high, but the quality was fair. I wasn't sure if the dress I was purchasing would fit, but the women servicing me reiterated being able to bring it back if it didn't work out. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase. read more

Unfortunately, I have to write a bad review for this place. I recently bought a suit here for my son, and it was dirty. I asked for an exchange. They gave me another suit, and it was also dirty. I called them asking why yet a second suit would be dirty, and they said too bad, it's my problem. No exchange. I went there with my neighbor to buy his grandson a christening outfit. Unfortunately all I could see was from the window and door. We arrived at 11 when the store said they open and there was a sign on the door saying "We'll be back in 15 minutes." I was a little confused seeing that they just opened at 11 but whatever we need an outfit and decided to wait. After 22 minutes and even trying to call the store there was no answer and no return. Was recommended to come here. When I arrived I figuered I wouldn't be able to take a look since they close at five and I arrived 10 min before their closing time. I was happy they still pulled out dresses for us. However, when I said I didn't like any of those( the owner I believe) got offened. I kept looking and found two dresses both me and my daughter liked asked to try on and they said yes. While I was in the fitting room they shut the lights off on me. Then was asked to come back or look at there selection online. I had a couple questions still since I live 2 hours away from the location (i dont have social media). Then I stood outside looking at the dresses they had on the glass display. When i went to get in my car i realized i forgot my keys in the dressing room. Since i basically rushed out because they shut the lights off. I called the shop like crazy and since that didnt work i messaged them in facebook (thankfully my mom was there and she has fb) The owner was very rude asking if I was sure I left them inside. She was ferious. I said those are my car keys I know I ledt them inside I live 2 hours away. She answered well I live far too. I then said I dont mind if i have to, just let me know when you can come back. It was very nice of her to come back, but she was so mad she had to. When I got my keys back I said thank you. She did not hear and basically told me off because I didn't say thank you. I'm sorry but if you cannot attend a customer no longer. Don't let them in, show them dresses, let alone try on a dress and then shut lights off. If the lights had not been shut off on me maybe I wouldn't have forgotton my keys in fitting room. read more

wow... my dog could run a better business than these ladies. i should have known to go somewhere else when i walked into an empty store and stood around for 15 min before someone even acknowledged my presence. i ended up ordering 2 flowergirl dresses for my wedding. they promised me it would take 3 weeks to get them in... 6 weeks later they come in and they don't even call me, i'm the one who ended up calling them to see if they had arrived. the dresses were the wrong sizes and had to be altered. so after all that i should have known better than to order shoes through them.... same story... "no problem, they'll be in, in a couple of days." a week goes by and i hear no word from Ivette... i call them the friday before my wedding and said i was coming by to pick up the shoes. i get there the shoes were the wrong size... and it wasn't even the shoe i ordered!! and they looked at me in amazement when i got upset.... i don't know if these ladies are totally clueless or if they just don't care... but with crappy business practices like the ones they have exhibited, i doubt bebe elegante will be in business for much longer. read more
