It's a cute store. It first caught my eye a few years ago because of the beautiful mural by Ryan Tova Katz, perhaps my favorite muralist. I didn't realize it was a consignment store and probably wouldn't have stopped in had I known that, but I'm glad I did. I bought a cute little rain slicker for my daughter and I almost can't wait until spring so she can wear it. There's a lot of clothing and she has them sorted well so it's easy to find the sizes you're looking for. In the back, she even has a dollhouse which I think isn't for sale, but is for kids to play with. Maybe I'm wrong about that, though! There's lots of toys and tchotchkes here too. I bought some little bath bombs that look like donuts because I think my kiddo will be amazed when they start to fizz. I also picked up some crayons and a couple other things. There's no parking lot but you may find parking along Montrose or Ashland. The entrance is a little funny; it opens at street level but there's a steep ramp down to the store, which is below grade. I assume that like many shops at this level it had steps to get down and as a children's store, a ramp definitely would be in order to accommodate strollers. But it is indeed a bit steep so be mindful of that. read more

Holy guacamole. Do you like unique and cute things? Do you want to be sustainable? Do you want to shop local from a shop that shops local? AKA local shop-ception? So many highlights! I will go here all the time now: -They try to sell largely local items -They sell quality USED kids clothes and shoes on consignment-- so much cute stuff! Keens for kids! -They try to be sustainable -They may offer you alcohol and/or to hold your baby while you shop. Delightful and basically everything I need. I try to use hand me downs for my older daughter and then pass them on to the younger, but now she's growing faster than some of our friends. :) Instead of going on Poshmark, this is even more sustainable-- no shipping! And you can actually see it. Like, my kid could come with to shop here. We bought a book "A Major Mexican Misunderstanding" which is going to be amazing for my kiddos since we celebrate Dia de los Muertos. I bought non-toxic PEELABLE nail polish for my daughter (who is very into painted nails for some reason)-- you run it under warm water and THEN you can peel it off. YES. Even better than the soy-based stuff! Not only will you shop local, but you will find everything you could possibly want (or discover you want) crammed artfully into a super organized small space. :) read more

Went in to get a gift for my baby niece. The lady (who I assume runs and owns the shop) was super friendly and super helpful! We had a lovely conversation and she wrapped my gifts in the shop. Great customer service! I knew I wanted to buy a couple stuffed toys, and that I wanted a contactless pickup. I was pleasantly surprised: the proprietor sent me photos, let me pick which ones I wanted, and processed my order over the phone. Pickup was smooth. The reason Cloud and Bunny has five stars from every reviewer is because it deserves them. I usually go to Second Child on Armitage for cute kids clothes but was looking for something closer to home. C&B fit the bill. The clothes are not exclusively name brand like at Second Child, but I don't care (especially given the price delta). C&B is like someone else went thrift store shopping for you and pulled out the maybes. All you have to decide is whether it's the right style/size and then you're golden. Plus, the owner asked me if I wanted a glass of wine. I mean, no one has asked me that question since I made the twins. Sold! I will be back. read more

This cute little store is a great addition to the neighborhood! The owner, Maya, is nice and very helpful, and she's got a great eye for kids' clothes. She offers both new and consignment (and, parents, she gives a really great percentage for consignment!) and also some toys, books, and accessories. Since she's a parent herself, she understands what parents need, and selects and prices accordingly. You can get some very nice things for reasonable prices. (Also handy- it's right by the 78 bus stop.) Even my toddler loves this place; whenever we go past, she points and says "Maya's store!" read more

I don't often feel like a place deserves a 10 stars, but for places like this I wholeheartedly wish there was a better grading system on Yelp! The owner couldn't have been more accommodating, caring, patient and beyond welcoming! I'm upset at myself for not stopping here ages ago, but know now that this is the place That I will be buying all my future gifts for children's birthday parties and other occasions... I will also be setting my themed-parties based on her products for my own son's birthday! I wish her so much success since I see how much love is put in her Choices of items and how clean everything is. I had no idea that they did A combination of used and new stuff, but everything looked new, so it was a dream to go through everything. Great place if you work in Early Childhood Education. They have many Melissa and Doug items that haven't even been opened yet i definitely plan on making a trip there soon to find gifts for a few baby showers I've been invited to. A delightful collection of well-curated new items- Big Sister/Brother and Little Sister/Brother shirts, new baby gowns (gifts!), toys and books, all in one store with a fantastic selection of well-organized, well prices consignment items. I stopped in to put a few baby things on consignment and wish this place were in business when my child was young. There are some gems in the store. A reasonably priced Patagonia jacket, clean good as new dresses (one was white and looked new), cute books and the thing that really caught my attention is the owner had the stairs modified to be stroller friendly. I remember the days of struggling with a stroller at businesses that were not in tune with their targeted clientele. This store was very clean and the young lady at the register was very friendly and helpful. I am the kind of person that will go to Ravenswood Books (up the street) and have a grand time hunting for a book. This store is like a used bookstore in the aspect that you don't know what you will find and can find something very nice depending on when you go so I would not write this business off if you go one time and do not see anything that peaks your interest. As someone who went with things for their consignment end of the business, do not pay attention to the bad reviews for this store owner being selective in what she will put up in her store. I brought in three items, two of which were in the box with all the original information. Of the three items I brought in, she would only agree to put up one item on consignment and it was the only item not in a box with the original documentation. She has a right to be selective or everyone would dump their garbage in her store and it would end up like a thirft store. She does sell gently used items, not junk and there is a distinct difference so I do believe that you must consider this when reading bad reviews from people that are upset when she declines to sell their items that have been used by 3 children and would likely be discarded even by Goodwill or Salvation Army. As a consumer, this is good because the consumer doesn't have to sort through junk with baby spit up, food crumbs and teething damage. As I said when I began this review, I wish this store were around when my child was young. read more

Wow, this store is incredible! All the children's items have been carefully curated to hit the trifecta: Super cute, quite reasonably priced, and very high quality. It's such a charming shop (and the owner was so nice!). Looks like it would be a great place to sell on consignment, too - I would definitely check that out if you have some nice items to part with. And because of the consignment element, seems like this is a place to stop by often if you can -- you don't know when some really great new find will walk through the door. Overall, what a gem! You feel instantly cheery walking through the door - the shop is so bright and colorful that you can't help but smile. The adorable clothes and other kids' items will make you smile even more. I was just visiting, but I am so jealous -- I would LOVE to just take a stroll, grab coffee and or brunch down the block, and then pick up something cute. I love this shop and I'm so happy it's in the neighborhood! The consignment clothes are all in great shape and very reasonably priced. You can get a great deal on bundles of things in the same size and you can also find clothes from gap, Tea collection, and other higher end brands for a good price. I'm about to have my second kid (in a different season than my first) and I feel truly blessed that this store opened up!! The only negative of having this store around is that I'm finding myself buying some extra things for our new arrival knowing that I'll be able to sell it with Maja and get 50% commission! read more

I was able to get some off-season new items (cute prints on cotton onesies) on-sale and some consignment pieces (adorable baby jeans and chords) to match. I've never written a Yelp review before, but was inspired to today after visiting this wonderful store in my hood. Cloud and Bunny is a breath of fresh air ... a kid's clothing/gift store where the merchandise is first rate and extremely affordable, and where the owner is as lovely as they come. The store, for the most part, stocks consignment items (many with brand names like Egg and Tea) that are in excellent condition, but there are many new items as well (Everbloom is a favorite) and, in addition, toys and books. This store is certainly a welcome antidote to the upscale boutiques (with attitudes to match) that sell overpriced kids clothes. And I can't say enough about Maja, the kind and delightfully down to earth owner (who, btw, will offer you a complimentary glass of wine as soon as you set foot in the door :) read more
