I had the pleasure of working with Darren Rogers at this location. I was in desperate need of finding pants that fit the way I like them to fit. If you're used to pants that have a generous amount of room in the leg area and are boot cut, good luck finding something with this description in 2020. Darren did a good job of being patient and helping me find the closest thing to what I was looking for (all over the state of Illinois). In regards to Buckles brand: The quality of the clothing is pretty good for the price point. I was really relieved to find these with the help of Darren and his team. I shop here frequently for the past 4 years. Always an article of clothing I find and decide to purchase. Staff is always very helpful, friendly and knowledgable. They make it fun to shop. My place of choice to stay in style. Yes they have mens clothes / half of store is mens and half is womens. I just choose to stay away from the Affliction section. I wore that over 4 years ago. I am addicted to Miss Me Jeans. This place has the exclusive line and its the only place that does. I bought a few pairs last year and one got a small tear in the near the seam. I called the store they said bring them in we will see what we can do. I assumed they would send them out to Miss Me for repair or replace. To my surprise they just told me they would exchange them out even though they no longer had that style number and it was discontinued. I got a brand new pair same basic style same brand and only paid the 4.00 difference. It is stores like this and employees like this that keep me going back to my favorite upscale brands. Try doing that at forever 21. Macy's wouldn't even do that for a expensive pair of jeans. Thank You Buckle! I don't fit that traditional female stereotype of 'fashionista' or 'shop-a-holic'. I abhor retail shopping with all of my being. That being said, I waited until my last pair of jeans split up with me (and themselves) after 7 glorious years together, before facing the reality of jeans shopping. I'm 5'11", I lift weights (meaning I have a muscular body) and I have a 37" inseam. This basically makes me an anomaly in the world of pants. I have a thin waist, thick (strong) legs, and to further complicate things...a booty. So I begrudgingly (after cleaning everything in my apartment as an excuse to delay the endeavor) made my way to Woodfield, parking as far from the entrance as possible, while still being on property. My recently departed jeans were originally adopted at the Buckle, and I know they're one of the only stores who caters to individuals afflicted with "height". I walked in and was immediately offered help from Liz. I cited the parameters of my quandary, complete with photos of my old tags, and she quickly compiled a stack of potentials for me to try. First pair: They were 'skinny' jeans. It was almost comical (ok, completely comical) to see me in them. My quads stretched the material to its max, threatening its well being, while the waist hung loosely around my stomach, revealing my skivvies without warrant. Liz and two other associates gasped in horror, and one exclaimed "you have really large quads...." I quickly shed the hipster atrocity and ventured on to a pair of Buckle "Black" jeans with a 37.5" inseam. I stepped out of the fitting room, and time stood still. These hugged my muscles and curves perfectly, but still were a tad loose in the waist. Liz to the rescue, bringing a size down (I didn't think this ever happened). Size down was a perfect fit. When I had them on, I wanted to date me. Liz helped me find a total of 4 pairs of jeans (mind you, I've lived with only one pair that fit me the last 4-5 years) and helped me sign up for the store card (to save 10%). She also assisted me in my exploration of their clearance section- ultimately resulting in a really awesome pair of jeans for a fraction of the cost of the amazing Buckle Black jeans (which I purchased in two washes). In summation, the Buckle, and Liz, turned a situation I was dreading into a truly great experience. I came in listing my body as a problem, and walked out with 4 solutions that made me feel phenomenal! The jeans are expensive, but they are high quality, and the service is second to none. If you ever have found it difficult to find the right fit for you, I can honestly say there's no better place to trust when it comes to complimenting ANY body with the right jeans. read more

I really love this store. They have some CUTE jeans, and as a woman who is 5'9", and pretty much all legs, it's hard to find jeans that are long enough. Enter Buckle. I am super picky about my jeans. Unless I am specifically looking for skinny jeans, then I do not care for boot cut, so there needs to be a wide leg opening. I also have that long-leg issue, but this has NEVER been an issue for Buckle. They even have jeans that are TOO LONG for me. Craziness! Their staff is really great at helping without being too pushy about it. They recognize me by now, which is nice since I drop about $100 every time I am in there on jeans alone. I think I only own one pair of jeans that I didn't get at this store. :) read more

This isn't just women's clothing. They have some really great men's clothing too. I actually have done more shopping for/with my boyfriend in there than I have for anything myself but it's not exactly my style in there either. The faux leather jackets are really cute but I'd be really worried the way the material is that they'd be scratched up and ruined WAY too easily. But the designs themselves are really badass. Their accessories/jewelry collection is REALLY awesome and I would recommend either sex shopping around for something on those racks for sure. The clothes are a little expensive, but it's a really neat style of clothing in there which is probably worth the extra few 'pennies' (har har) The sales people in there are really helpful and do have actual opinions but they may clash with your own personal style so beware haha. read more

Love love love this store! Many don't think to go in but they have some very nice pieces and nice tops. Both male & female items are awesome. I think their male collections are tip top. I mean I can always find something cute for my man. He loves when I get him items from this store. Lemme tell you how much I LOVE this store! First of all it's for men and women- the store is split in half-Girls stuff on 1 side, guys on the other. You can find the coolest jeans, hoodies, T-shirts, hats, shoes, jewelry, watches. This is your 1 stop shop for a great wardrobe. They have jeans for girls that run LONG- I'm 5'11 so trust me- my jeans are draggin' on the ground just the way I like em. They have the newest, hippest brands- Affliction, Sinful, Lucky, etc. Kim is the manager and she is the bomb for helping you find what you like and need. Megan is also awesome- and they remember you and what you like- they remember my daughters name for Gods sake and always are super friendly. They get to know you're style and instead of pillaging through the many racks they just bring you what they know you'll like, which comes in handy when you are shopping with a crabby 2 year old. This store is awesome- definitely my fave at the mall. But be prepared to drop some cash- jeans are usually about 60-100 bucks- I just bought the coolest hat for 45 but it was worth it- I've already gotten like 100 compliments on it and people wanting to buy it right off my head. You can also apply for a Buckle credit card- you know that's how I roll! Lol! read more
