My first time coming to a Primark at the strong suggestion of my friend. We ended up spending two hours here because the pricing was pretty good. This is like an H&M but with lower pricing. I found some cute winter jackets and winter clothing for 50% off. Some of their regularly priced items were great too and felt like good quality. I did notice that some of the sale sweaters may not last too long plus I noted some loose thread of some other pieces of clothing. Since there was a winter storm, the store and mall was not busy at all. They did run out of bigger bags so we had to stuff everything into multiple thin plastic bags. One of the salespeople was pretty friendly and pointed out a few cute jackets that were on sale. The self service kiosk was easy to navigate. Make sure you keep your receipt on hand since you need to scan the barcode when you leave. I definitely will return again since the price point was great. read more

I cannot stand going to an indoor mall, it makes me feel claustrophobic because shopping is NOT my thing, but I will fight for parking the weekend before a major holiday to shop at Primark. (True story!) The formally $10, now $12 jeans are SO comfortable, I have even slept in them if I didn't dirty them by leaving the house. They wash really well and even stand up to my thunder thighs rubbing. They do need to be replaced after some time, but definitely far beyond what I would feel is a fair time for $12. Their men's section of sweaters carried me through the holidays (I taught my kid clothes are clothes and I don't like the cropped look of their women's sweaters for me) with an Irish looking sweater for $20 that is so warm that I didn't even wear a coat to the downtown symphony! In a Midwestern winter! I got 5 sweaters and 2 pairs of jeans for about $100! AMAZING! The clothes, even though they are affordable, wash well. The sweaters do not pill and I dry them by laying them flat so I have not experienced shrinkage either. The jeans are stretchy and move with me. I rocked a pair to a slide park and I was happy with my choice. The staff is usually pretty friendly and will help when necessary. My card was having issues so he helped me check out and the next time my receipt bar code would not scan to let me out of the self checkout area and I was helped right away. They have collegiate wear (Harvard), pop culture wear (Stranger Things, the Simpsons, Billie Eilish, Disney), and sports teams (Chicago Bulls) at affordable prices. Since my favorite blue doored store near where I live closed, this has become my go to for jeans, statement pieces, and dress up clothes! read more

We visited and made a purchase here for each of the two kiddos we had in tow. They have a good selection of kids' clothing at reasonable prices, and it's even better when items are on sale. If using a credit card, the checkout here is now all self service. You can grab a free plastic bag, but if you want a paper of canvas bag, it's $0.55 to $2.20 respectively. After paying, you need to scan your receipt to leave the checkout area through an electronically operated gate. It's all quick, seamless, and efficient once you know their setup. read more

I do love me a good Primark shopping trip, but the location at Woodfield is always so busy and chaotic. The one thing to note is if you know what you're looking for it'll be easy to be in and out. If you want to look around and peruse you may be there for a while. I love shopping for seasonal fun stuff, and baby clothes. You are getting what you pay for with the adult clothes but for the baby clothes you get great quality for the price. The clothes are thick, and usually have multiple pieces that you can wear together or apart. I also love stocking up on their pjs too, they are so soft and most of the time for a matching set it's only $10! They have fleece ones for a bit more but who doesn't love a good matching set. Their home and beauty section has fun Disney items and cost effective makeup that I haven't tried but I always see tons of folks stocking up. My husband also love looking around the men's section for staple pieces for everyday wear. Overall we have a great experience shopping around! read more

It was my first visit to Primark and I found some good deals today. I would describe this store as H&M quality of clothing with Old Navy type of deals and pricing. The racks are pretty well stocked, but it also made it a little hard to find sizes since the clothes are packed on the rack so tightly. There's a lot to browse here, due to the size of the store, but if you have the time and patience to look, you can find some decent bargains. There are some cute-ish holiday sweaters right now. However, some of them look and feel kind of cheap, like they may not last or hold up in the wash. I like the many self check-out kiosks and the ease of scanning the tags to pay. There are plenty of staff around if you have questions or need anything. The lightweight reusable bags with short or long handles are nice too. I paid around $76 for two tops, a pair of pants and a lightweight men's jacket. read more

Well despite my bad experience for dining at a really poor quality Japanese teriyaki place at the food court I stumbled upon this retail store which used to be part of Sears long ago when I go to woodfield Mall. Just browsing around I found a Hawaiian shirt and some other Hawaiian shirts that were made in Bangladesh or made in India I did buy one and surprised it was even under $10 it was $7.70. to me I compare this to a more bougie place without breaking the bank within any of the other retail stores. Most of the shirts were not made in China which is what attracted me they were mostly made in India or Bangladesh or Vietnam or Cambodia. I'm surprised tariffs did not affect this place?. Only being made in China there was these leather shoes. Other than that I found a shirt a Hawaiian shirt made in India the only trouble why three stars is sometimes you can't find your size but there was another shirt I like but they didn't have an extra large or xl. I'm glad I found a shirt that I like from India and the fabric was nice for it being Hawaiian looking t-shirt even though it's not made in Hawaii USA. Other than that I would come back to the store again for all these really great deals for certain things I compare this to a more upgraded version of another store I went to called foreman Mills but most of those places are catered to poor African Americans with the exception of one in North Riverside mall by cermak and Harlem close to Berwyn which I'm surprised they placed one in the mall versus its own individual store which there is one close to me by Cicero and North avenue in Chicago which is very ghetto. Anyways do come here you'll find a lot of bargains I even saw something interesting if you know the Addams family daughter Wednesday they sold some outfit like that. Otherwise three stars read more

Date of visit: November 30, 2024 We love Primark after really discovering it overseas and while the stores are still decent here in the States, they just don't have the same overall feeling on this side of the pond. One of our favorite things to scoop up here are the licensed merchandise for gifts especially the Disney items for the young ones in our life, and here Primark continues to do well, overall though one item we were looking for in particular this time: Stitch slippers left a bit much to be desired. Add to that a bit of a confusing experience in terms of layout ("Is this boys? Is this mens?") and an incredibly frustrating self checkout experience that required significant assistance from a very patient employee, and we will likely go back to the downtown Chicago location next time we need a Primark fix! All that being said, we still dropped money here like it was a Costco run! read more

This store has women's clothing, cosmetics, lingerie, men's clothing, kid clothing, home goods, and luggage section. The clothing has a lot of basics. What's nice is that the boys clothing goes up to age 15 so you can get some patterned clothes (Pokemon, Minecraft, etc) at kids price levels. I can't say how the quality is for the clothes after washing, but if you are looking for some inexpensive short term pieces this is a good option. It is difficult to find common sizes and there are not a lot of color options. The one thing you will notice is all of the security guards. Also be aware to keep your receipt out if you use self check out. You will need to scan your receipt in order for the automated doors to open for you. read more

I debated giving this Primark location either 1 or 2 stars. 2 because the customer service is terrible. I had to make returns from two different shopping trips. When I go to the cashier, we put my bags and said it was a return and it looked like he was almost going to say we can't do returns here. Then turn me away. The whole time he was annoyed and I felt like I shouldn't be making this return at all. When I was done, all he said was you are done. No goodbye or anything nice. It makes me not want to buy from Primark again. It was a pretty quiet night, but this Primark usually is busy. Although I still couldn't get out of the store without someone walking in front of me or cutting me off. I think the only reason I'm doing 2 stars is that I could find my size here and lots more options than the State st location. read more

I was really excited to see Primark open at Woodfield Mall, occupying the second floor of the former Sears because seeing half of a large mall anchor empty is better than seeing a full one empty. Also, I really liked going to Primark's State St. location. Sadly, this store didn't thrill me much. The store is broken up into men's, women's, accessories, shoes, cosmetics, kids, and home departments. I liked seeing some licensed character stuff, like Garfield, available. Women's clothing is mostly boring, drab colors of black, white, and brown. Lots of basic stuff like t-shirts and sweatshirts that look like stuff I could buy at Walmart for about $5.00 less. Nothing colorful or stylish or a quality level that impresses me. Some of the Rita Ora x Primark stuff was interesting, but again, styles that are very simple and basic and look like stuff you can get elsewhere. Primark is basically like a bigger version of H&M and Woodfield already has that just down the corridor. I might come back here or take a random stroll in passing. Unfortunately, seeing half of a former anchor become occupied is about it for me. I can't see myself buying much here. read more

Staff are seemingly always near me and every time I've checked out in my 5 visits I have had a "random check" pop up. I've never witnessed it happening to any one around me. Hi, I have shopped at the Woodfield store in Schaumburg. It's been a good store the security folks are more friendly than anyone in the store. The Manager today 2-13-2025 was especially inconsiderate toward me. I had several shirts with red sale prices on. One however one did not show up with the correct price on sale. When I asked the store employee person in self check out, 'why it didn't come up right?' He said I will check on it. The lady store manager said some one put the red sale sticker on it. Well it wasn't me, I said and she began to make a big production about it. Would not give me the sale. The regular price $5.00 vs sale $3.00. It looked like last years supply as it was the last capri legging in its size. I felt insulted and angry she told me just leave the store. SO I DID keep the merchandise I don't ever want to come here again. read more

The worst absolute shopping experience I have ever had. Witnessed a guard getting yelled at by I believe the security manager as he called himself. More like a stuck-up asshole! Anyway, I felt so bad for the verbal abuse the other guard was getting from this man and it made my whole shopping experience super uncomfortable. I've witnessed this multiple times with different guards as well. I would hate to work for this security company! I wish this man, (he's dark haired, short, round in case anyone shops here and sees him your prepared for what may happen, would learn some manners! As for his boss he or she needs to learn manners to because he gets it from somewhere. The store itself though is nice, as are the stores regular employees but these security "managers" are the absolute worst thing about this store, so just be prepared to witness the utter disgusting verbal abuse the guards get. read more
