When you first walk in, you get knocked over by a sweet smell. Candles? If you're scent sensitive, beware. Anyhow, I LOVE this adorable, Southern charm, Christian-inspired store! There are so many adorable knickknacks, books, inspirational wood decorations (with various phrases about Jesus or God, and Bible verses) I felt right at home. I wanted everything! Only problem were the prices. I know good quality clothing usually has a higher price, but as I've gotten older, I've realized that spending so much $$ on clothing just isn't that important. I would have thought a Christian store would have understood that when choosing their prices, being that we are to be good stewards of our money. I am disappointed that I always leave empty-handed. But I always go back to see if there are any good clearance items! The clothing is all sweet, frilly, trendy, with a country modern, southern belle type of look - a little of everything. Oh, and cute skinny jeans! Cozy sweaters! Cozy jammies! Cozy tshirts and jeans! I really would love a free shopping spree - please and thank you!!! My wardrobe needs an upgrade! The ladies working there are all super nice and helpful. I WILL keep going back until I find something affordable - just because I am thrilled with their store and would rather support a decent, Christian store than the trashy, sex-appeal stores that are everywhere. Keep it up with the decent/modest items!....but please decrease the prices, if possible. Not everyone can afford $60 sweaters and $28 small wooden/painted decorations.

Altar'd state is exceptional! This mall is the best! Really love their customer service, a big 10 out of 10. Their stalls are very much organized, highlighted with great things. Actually, some might be quite expensive but the quality is just worth it, I'm telling you. Their employees there was all very friendly, decent, nice, and also very patient with me since I would usually always ask them directions and stuff. The clothes were all very great, such neat textures and very unique designs, one of the reasons why I just love this place. Also, I like the vibes. It is very peaceful, cute actually, and just calm. Neat décor items and their perfumes are a big chef's kiss. The smell of them are so nice and this is actually the place where I would always buy my own perfume (clothes as well to be honest). Very fashionable place. Love the vibes, the service and the products in here! Definitely going for another time. Also will recommend this place to all the people I know. Thank you Altar'd State for such a wonderful experience. Your staff really made my experience much better. Can't wait to visit again for some great and quality items. Thank you and more customers to come guys! Cheers!

This Altar'd State is so great! Their place is so cozy, very clean, nice, neat, and bright. They are well-maintained and organized. You can easily choose whatever you want, you can clearly see the items inside, and checkout so quick. They have so many great things and huge selection of items to choose from. All of their items are so good, high quality, and worth the price. This place is one of the most visited store here in Woodfield Mall. Their place is also as a gem to this mall. Their employees are so decent, very personable, and attentive. They all know how to manage and treat all of the customers so well. They are so caring and friendly. Their place has an outstanding customer service. This Altar'd State is so easy to find, they are so near, and located inside the Woodfield Mall. You all must visit and give this place a try. Especially to those people who really love to buy great items like accessories, jewelries, clothing, and other items in such an awesome price. You can literally buy anything you want at this store without breaking your pockets or your limits. They are so fair and reasonable in terms of pricing. They are cheaper than other stores around the mall. So nice place to go to treat yourself or if you need a gift for someone special. I would love to go back here again soon! Can't wait to buy more of their quality items. Thank you Altar'd State for giving us such an amazing experience! Please keep it up! Thank you!

She called me and said there was a long line at Zara & she was near the front of the line. Out of curiosity I moseyed on over. We found out that Zara has their annual sale this time of year in January. Evidently a lot of people knew about looking at the line outside of Zara waiting to get in. When I got there she was a couple of people from the front (great timing). It's not like I needed anything but I thought what the heck why not take a look. When we got into the store I quickly looked around the store front to back and noticed that they had nothing but women's clothes? I asked someone if they had men's clothes. They mentioned that the men's section is on the other side of the cased opening. As I perused the clothes, shirts (don't need any), pants (don't need any), coats (don't need), Just kind of killing time while my wife was shopping or so I thought. That's when I saw a long hooded winter coat. I have a heavy wool coat that I use when I get dressed up and play adult to go out but it's seen better days. I wanted & needed a long warm winter over coat. I found a coat that I really liked and best of all the price was reduced to $69.99 reduced $100 from the original price. The only problem was the zipper was jammed & wasn't working properly. I tried 3 different coats before finally finding one that works. I did find a salesgirl named Adi that was very patient & helpful w/trying to find a coat w/a zipper that worked. When we came out of the store there was a long line of people trying to get in. Like I said this was the first time I had ever been to a Zara store, but I'm glad I stopped in despite the issue w/the zipper I managed to buy the coat and at the same time I saved $100

I have worked for this company for three years and I would say the fashion aspect is very amazing…read moreand worth investing in good quality materials, but when it comes to this company since it is ran by Israel and fast fashion is their motto. I would prefer quality clothes over quantity that just fall apart easily and not them having a campaign just for a moment to "teach" customers how to sew/mend their brand new purchased items, which is something that everyone should know how to do, but I shouldn't have to purchase a new wardrobe that only last barely once when I wanna keep them for a lifetime and when it comes to managing staff/training new employees. It's like throwing dogs into the wolves, especially on sale days WS/SS(winter sale & summer sale) where we are the most busiest and a company that wants to push for inclusivity, diversity and mental health most people that have worked there that I have seen only want to cause drama(unprofessional) about old useless arguments that has to do with personal reasons and a lot of bickering, but I would say I did love the hospitality of surgeon employees and I have seen good wholesome customers come and shop with us as well. It was also nice to assist them during work travels, but not when it came to only sending a few people to try to help stores that are absolutely falling apart other states just make a quota w/ extremely low staff members. Caring about the human being comes first, not dragging them to the ground to be the next carbon machine. Thank You.

The sales associates used to put the clothes I collected to try on in a dressing room for me. I walked that store for at least half hour without a single sales associate approaching me even though there were 3 or 4 at the register talking and no other customers in the store. Once in the dressing room, not one sales associate approached to see if I needed a different size or if they could remove items from the dressing room, something that would have happened in the past. I checked out, spending about $400, on 3 items. Normally, I would keep my items on the hanger but that's not an option anymore unless you want a drycleaner wire hanger. Unfortunately, my story doesn't end there. When I got home, I discovered I had been charged $59 for a tee shirt that was clearly marked $49. I returned to the store the next day with the tee shirt and receipt and explained what happened. Instead of 'I am very sorry that happened, let me take care of that for you', the women made me feel like I had come to rob the store. After double and triple checking, I received my credit. I never received an apology, just a look of why I would bother for $11. Will I shop at the Eileen Fisher Company Store again? Yes. Will I expect customer service? No. Will I check my receipt? Definitely?

This is like an H&M but with lower pricing. I found some cute winter jackets and winter clothing for 50% off. Some of their regularly priced items were great too and felt like good quality. I did notice that some of the sale sweaters may not last too long plus I noted some loose thread of some other pieces of clothing. Since there was a winter storm, the store and mall was not busy at all. They did run out of bigger bags so we had to stuff everything into multiple thin plastic bags. One of the salespeople was pretty friendly and pointed out a few cute jackets that were on sale. The self service kiosk was easy to navigate. Make sure you keep your receipt on hand since you need to scan the barcode when you leave. I definitely will return again since the price point was great.

(True story!) The formally $10, now $12 jeans are SO comfortable, I have even slept in them if I didn't dirty them by leaving the house. They wash really well and even stand up to my thunder thighs rubbing. They do need to be replaced after some time, but definitely far beyond what I would feel is a fair time for $12. Their men's section of sweaters carried me through the holidays (I taught my kid clothes are clothes and I don't like the cropped look of their women's sweaters for me) with an Irish looking sweater for $20 that is so warm that I didn't even wear a coat to the downtown symphony! In a Midwestern winter! I got 5 sweaters and 2 pairs of jeans for about $100! AMAZING! The clothes, even though they are affordable, wash well. The sweaters do not pill and I dry them by laying them flat so I have not experienced shrinkage either. The jeans are stretchy and move with me. I rocked a pair to a slide park and I was happy with my choice. The staff is usually pretty friendly and will help when necessary. My card was having issues so he helped me check out and the next time my receipt bar code would not scan to let me out of the self checkout area and I was helped right away. They have collegiate wear (Harvard), pop culture wear (Stranger Things, the Simpsons, Billie Eilish, Disney), and sports teams (Chicago Bulls) at affordable prices. Since my favorite blue doored store near where I live closed, this has become my go to for jeans, statement pieces, and dress up clothes!
