I went shopping for baby clothes and it had a surprisingly good selection of cute clothes at a relatively decent price. There was not a great selection of toys but that was to be expected. I wish there were more associates on the sales floor. I would give it 3.5 stars. I was looking for a few more things to buy but could not find them. Word of advice to department stores- get a more associates on the floor and sales will go up. read more

I do not shop at Nordstrom. However, my mom today asked me to go to Nordstrom and pay her credit card bill. Today was my first ever visit to Nordstrom Rack, and it was also the LAST time I will ever go there. The place is nasty. So I come in. Huge line, 2 cashiers are working, 4 more are standing next to them, telling jokes and yapping. GREAT first impression. After I pointed out the side of line, they all went to work, but they had an attitide as if they are doing US a favor by taking our money. It was plainly written on their faces and concieted, dismissive tone of their speech. Finally my turn comes and I give money to the cashier. I tell the cashier that my mom spent 50 dollars at nordstrom rack with their card. NEVER received a statement, and today received a letter that her bill is past due, and she has a $40 penalty. My mom is 78 years old, now has bronchitus so she could not come to the store, but she called the number in the letter, and they told her to go to the store, saying "The store can take care of everything". The cashier told me that she can't take the late fee off, I called my mom, and she told me to pay just the original amount. Which I did, I gave the cashier $100. She took it and... refused to give me any change saying "The cash register won't let me give you any change". I called for store manager. A manager name Heidi (Heidi -HO?), showed up. She showed the cashier how to give change. The cashier didn't even know how to give someone change from cash register. Great training, guys. BTW, the cashier wore NO name tag and REFUSED to give me her name. Manager also tells me that there is nothing she can do about late fee, and my mom should call back the credit card, the same people who told us to go to the store and that store can take care of everything. When I asked for a phone number of DISTRICT manager, that manager Heidi (ho?), REFUSED to give it to me, claiming that she, one of the managers in the store does NOT know the phone number of the district manager, does NOT know his email, and doesn't even know their name. I asked her if her District Manager is called Pokahantos, because, obviously, they communicate with smoke signals. That manager, Heidi, told me to come back in, when the store manager will be on duty, or to call the store manager. When I asked when the store manager is usually in, she refused to give me that info. She then attacked my mom, telling me that my mom is an adult, and she should take care of her bill, and probably she just set the bills to come electronically and forgot about it, after all, Heidi said, your mom is 78 and she could have forgotten. So there you have it. Store where 2/3 of cashiers joke around rather than work. Where cashiers do NOT know how to give back change. Where manager does NOT know the phone number or email of the district manager. When you are told to talk to the store manager, but then they refuse to tell you when she will be in, and when they will blame YOUR ELDERLY MOTHER because their credit card didn't sent your mom a statement. Meantime they will hit you with $40 late fee. Those witches with a "b" are rude, obnoxious, dishonest schysters who prey on the elderly. STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS MANURE HOLE AS YOU CAN. They should change the name form Nordstrom Rack to Nordstrom Drek (Drek in German means "CRAP") STAY AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE. HEIDI is utterly rude and unprofessional manager. read more

Always impeccably clean. Wish they had more stock... but I like that it's not a well-known or highly trafficked location... Because that means I can find some things I wanted at the Schaumburg location, but was unable to find on a boomerang trip... By this I mean I found a pair of aviators I loved... And went back to Schaumburg to get the second pair I saw there as a backup maybe 4 days later... And it was gone! But on an inspired thought, I tried this location and found them! Normally, I would let something like this slide, but I am absolutely disgusted by how I was treated at the Nordstrom Rack in Kildeer. I was peacefully trying to pay for my items and was bullied and insulted by the woman working at the register. To start, the woman (who, according to the receipt, is named "Mariya P") would not take no for an answer about the stupid store credit card. Then, this monster had the audacity to insult my weight under her breath in Polish... not realizing that I, too, am fluent in Polish. To the management at Nordstrom: Are you really comfortable having this woman body-shaming your customers? I, for one, certainly hope you are as appalled as I am! read more

This is my favorite Nordstrom Rack location. I always find unique items here. Love the shoe selection. The last time I visited (about 4 days ago) my cashier was wonderful! She helped me save a little more on my purchase with a phone app. I thought that was thoughtful, and sweet of her. She was engaging, friendly, and truly thoughtful towards her customers. Great job with the customer service Nordstrom Rack. This is what keeps us coming back. This location is very clean. Bathrooms are also always neat and tidy. So far so good, this location has a good variety of women's shoes and I enjoy browsing through the kid's selection.

On 6/26/22 around 3 pm- 4 pm, my husband, 2 year old son and I were shopping at this location. I was in a different isle looking at candles while my husband kept our 2 year old son busy in the toy section. During this time my husband was holding my son and a toy that we wanted to purchase for our son, the toy did not have a tag so he was looking around on the toy for a tag. At that moment, a geriatric female employee of this Nordstrom Rack location walked up to my husband and rudely said to him: "are you buying that toy, because you need to control your kid, this is not a playpen". We immediately walked out and will not be returning or spending any money at any Nordstrom or Nordstrom Rack locations. The audacity for a female employee to walk up to a parent and bark at them about whether they are going to be making a purchase or not, otherwise they need to "control their kid" is insane in this day. Shame on that employee and shame on that location for employing a person like that to represent the company. My advice would be if you're out shopping with your kids, don't come to the Nordstrom Rack/Kildeer, Illinois location because their employees clearly have no respect for parents. God forbid a parent want to go out shopping with their child. read more

They had a lot of cashiers , so even though the lines to check out were long, it went quickly. Also, the fitting rooms were well attended so clothing wasn't just laying around. Very nice and clean.. well organized and lots of stock product. Compared to other Nordstrom Rack this is the cleanest but they are lacking in the bow tie section which was what I came here for. But my girlfriend was able to find all the beauty product and shows in her size there. Wish they had more bags as well but over my girlfriend seem to enjoy this location alot read more

I have been at this store for a few years now, always a organized store like today; unfortunately today was my last time at this location after a very unfortunate experience with Kate on of the sales associate; she was disrespectful and rude when putting back a few hangers on the rack right in front of us passing them thru our faces (¿where is the social distancing?) not once but twice, after the second time I asked her if she didn't know how to say "excuse me", she rolled her eyes and walked away. My thoughts are, why it is so easy for a sales associate to mistreat a CUSTOMER ? Maybe because I'm a Latina?? Did she not like my attire? I did not have lots of items in my cart (maybe $150) but after talking no to Mike who did apologize I didn't really feel the urgency of going the extra mile and do something about it and left the store without those items and extremely disappointed by the way he handled it. I really expected more professionalism but I left feeling profiled for being Latina and not as elegant as your employees probably expect everyone to be. read more

I spent an hour and 15 mins trying to find pajamas for a themed party. All the sets were missing the other half so I chose different pants from the other missing sets to go with the tops from the other missing sets. I brought both the 1/2 sets up to front to pay. The cashier and manager both told me I have to pay full price for the set that they have missing and then pay the full price for another set to get a similar piece to match the other missing set. They would not combine the two 1/2 sets to make it one full set (they were both the same price) even though it is their fault they do not have full sets. So basically I pay $60 for $30 pajamas. I would think since it was their mistake not keeping them together in the first place they would be somewhat fair and flexible instead of expecting the customer to be ripped off. read more

This NR is my favorite in the area, it is very well laid out and there is never a wait for the fitting room. Northbrook doesn't seem as well laid out and doesn't have a large parking lot like this NR does. read more
