Addicted to this place! I've been going frequently since I work in the area. Clean ,cute space with seating. I usually get the strawberry matcha latte but definitely have to try some of their other stuff. Service is always nice and friendly :)

Stopped by a few times for their refreshing boba options. I would say they're a solid spot, and I'm glad they're in the area they are because they're aren't toooo many options around. It was a really hot summer day and I got their watermelon refresher drink and it was exactly what I needed. so refreshing, light, not too sweet, and tasted like real watermelon with green tea. I also came when it was really cold and got a warm boba tea with bubbles and it was also perfectly not too sweet and just what I needed. It's not a destination spot, but an old reliable you will find yourself coming back to. The prices are reasonable, you can order and pay on the tablets as well as talk to the cashier. It's a small space but there is some seating if you want to chill for a bit!

We stopped by Jooy Tea Shoppe to pick up a couple of drinks, as we were parched! We ordered: +the Strawberry Tornado +and, the Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea Unfortunately, both drinks were extremely mediocre - the Strawberry Torando, which was more of a slushie-type of a drink, was watered down and had hardly any of the strawberry taste; note that there's some type of a jelly in there, so if you're not into toppings, just avoid. The Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea was also extremely watered down and tasted like weak milk - not a good drink at all. There are two kiosks to order from, and this is mostly a pick-up/carry-out type of a place, as there is only limited seating available that seems to be reserved for those who are waiting for their order(s). There seemed to be a lot of mobile app ordering going on; definitely a longer wait to get your drinks as well. +watered down drinks +kiosk ordering system

Great selection of fruit teas and way less of a wait compared to similar shops nearby. I tried the Guava Grape drink and it tasted like real fruit and wasn't too sweet! The drinks are big and you get your drink pretty fast. I also appreciate how you can order on multiple tablets to see the whole menu.

Tried JOOY after seeing everyone in Union Square holding the same orange drink -- now I get the hype! The persimmon latte was super fresh and not too sweet, and the black sesame cheese latte was amazing. Place was packed but worth the wait. I'll be back for more!

Love their brown sugar bubble tea. Tea is good and the brown sugar smells fantastic. Their bubble is definitely on top of my list. Self kiosk to order or you can order at the counter. Staff is very nice and helpful. Some benches inside for customers to wait for their drinks. Decoration is cute. Very trendy vibe.

Omg. SO GOOD. I ordered via uber eats. I forgot the name of the drink but this was with mango, coconut milk and purple sticky rice. Heaven in a cup! Ive had so many different versions of mango coconuts drinks and this beats them all! This legit is like the thai mango sticky rice dessert in a drink! Do not hesitate! Will keep ordering from here again and again!

I've been here a few times and like to get the fruit drinks, like the Mango Pomelo. Very refreshing and perfect drink on hot days. I do like to try the unique seasonal drinks and I recently got the Cloudy Peach. It was icy texture and tasted like a slushie, but the peach flavor was good and not too sweet. The drinks are average priced and there's a handful of spaces to sit while waiting for your drink.

Wow! There were SO many options on this menu it was hard to pick just one thing. I went for their specialty dragonfruit lychee drink because it sounded light and refreshing and it was exactly that. It was frozen which I didn't expect but absolutely didn't mind for the summer. The crystal boba was a bit hard but was fine, and there were pieces of fresh lychee at the bottom too which was delish!

this was the first time i've seen persimmon on the menu at a boba shops and it did not disappoint !! other places need to take note!!!! persimmon coco 30% sweet with sago was the perfect drink. would definitely get again !

Bubble bubble! Bubble tea! Quick on the go bubble tea! Location: it is located along 14th Street, the location easy to find. The interior is nice and clean, few seatings inside. Service: I just ordered on the kiosk. Food: I ordered HOJICHA LATTE with BOBA. I love hojicha and I felt like their hojicha is very authentic but I should have put 100% sugar instead of 75% because I felt like it needs more sweetness. The boba was chewy and soft! Price rating: 7 out of 10. I mean it is a regular bubble tea price. Paid around 8 bucks for the hojicha. Well all recommended! Will try other flavors next time!

The persimmon boba here is a true seasonal treat! It's not overly sweet, allowing the natural flavor of the fruit to shine through, and the large chunks of fresh persimmon make every sip feel extra special. What seals the deal is the undeniable freshness. Walking into the store and seeing towers of persimmon boxes stacked high reassures you that you're getting something made with care and the best ingredients. If you're a fan of seasonal flavors, this one is a must-try! I ordered my drink from the Kiosk and it came out relatively quickly even though there were a good number of other people in the store. There are also some seating in the store, but somewhat limited.

Small pickup boba and tea shop by Union Square with a huge menu and fun flavors! I love persimmon as a seasonal item and feel like it's rare to find it in a boba shop, so I was super excited to see it was offered here! It's a tight, small space and you order primarily through two kiosks. The service is friendly if a little bit overwhelmed by orders. It's cool that each drink contains ~2.5 persimmons, and I got the persimmon coco which includes coconut milk. I wish I could recommend the persimmon drinks more, but I think it's better to just eat the ripe and fresh fruit. The texture and flavors are just a bit more pronounced. It was also a fairly expensive drink (around ~$8). I would, however, want to try other items from their menu like the seasonal pomegranate drink!

I've never been to a yogurt store that makes you pay a set price first before selecting toppings, which also means toppings are limited based on the yogurt size (something I only realized later after looking at a picture I took in the store). The employee who was supposed to help me immediately gave me attitude, as if I was supposed to already know all the "rules" of the store. I said nothing that would have warranted that reaction -- I simply went over to the display. At the register, I scanned my rewards app then couldn't find the card reader to pay. After about 20 seconds, I realized it was sitting on top of a case of water bottles (pictured). The topping limit signage was also placed off to the side of the register where customers wouldn't naturally see it -- it wasn't even on my side and was partially blocked. I only found this out when I went up to the counter after I got my yogurt. While choosing toppings, I asked how many I was allowed, and she responded, "How many toppings do you think you're supposed to choose?" with a noticeably rude tone. When I chose cookie dough as my fourth topping, she only gave me a few pieces, dropped another on the counter (pictured), and ignored it. The cookie dough topping was stale too. I also noticed she did not seem to treat other customers the same way. I eventually went back to the register - I asked her if the yogurt was actually strawberry matcha because it tasted like vanilla. I also asked about her rudeness because I genuinely didn't understand why I was being treated that way for asking simple questions. She said the information was "on the wall," even though it was difficult to see. I actually ended up apologizing earlier because she made me feel like I was burdening her. The only personable thing she said the entire interaction was that I didn't need to apologize, but the tone still felt unfriendly. Two customers sitting nearby ended up leaving without ordering. I understand it was Super Bowl Sunday and she appeared to be working alone, which may have contributed to stress. Still, I left feeling extremely shaken and even spilled yogurt on my jacket afterward. I would not return to this location. I used to come to this location sometimes, but after this experience -- and a previous visit where I ordered a tea and received very little -- I would not return.

Ahh, grass jelly loeng4 fan2 涼粉 is my childhood favorite dessert and summons nostalgia! It is my mission to search for bubble tea businesses that offers grass jelly as a topping for my primary reason to patronize. It was abundant which filled one quarter of my medium sized drink. The grass jelly topping is New York City standard priced at $0.50 at least there is sustainability and a sense of normalcy. I requested regular ice, but the entire ice dispensed disappointedly melted and the drink became room temperate. Heat wave medium $6.00 Passionfruit green tea with grass jelly, 50%, light sugar. The drink alone was good quality. While scanning the electronic menu the drink names appear very comical and not business appropriate as well as this bubble tea business name Ho Ho Te. The sound speakers is boisterously loud blasting music directly at my face by the ordering counter. The cashier associate was 90% inaudible of her customer service questions due to the boisterously loud blasting music as I had to fight loud vs. loud by blurting loudly several times: "WHAT?" Why would a business intentionally place sound speakers in front of a ordering counter station where customers must communicate their food/drink orders? How can customers place their drinks orders with clear specific description/instructions only for the cashier associate to inadvertently obfuscate by misinformation because the message conveyed was utterly misinterpreted? Communication is vital for ordering and order fulfillment accuracy in the food service industry! The cardboard paper straws available are environmentally sustainable friendly for biodegradable and compostable. However, these cardboard straws taste AWFULl!! The drink selection is very limited menu compared with other bubble tea competitors. Disappointedly there is no Jasmine green tea on the menu. There are some food items. Takeout menus are available for grabs. Loyalty card is available which also serve as business card where the back is printed in gold foil. This business is very accessible by MTA NYC Transit at Port Authority 42nd Street's A, C, E trains and buses near the peripheral of Times Square.
