Despite of their store being closed for the day, the staffs willingly opened the door to accomodate our son and gave him his chicken joy and fries and did not even made us pay. We are humbled. Wait time is ridiculous ordered over an hour ago and the order pick up area is so unorganized.

I came here to this location to get dinner. Instead I got treated like a prisoner. After waiting 25 minutes for my food, my name/number was finally called and the lady that called my name/number quickly turned away after tossing my food onto the counter. I tried to get my food, but was intercepted by another employee who was insistent on checking my receipt which I already tossed into my bag. So now this worker who was probably just cleaning tables with her dirty gloves is now fishing around my bag with her dirty ass gloves. Apparently they thought I was trying to steal food because I had been standing waiting for so long they apparently forgot I actually placed an order 25 minutes earlier!! Come to Jollibee at the great mall if you would like to be treated like a criminal! BTW, I was only in the area for a layover after working a flight from Kona. So when my favorite muckbanger raved about this place, I knew I had to try it stat! My family and I came for the first time to have lunch and since we are newbies to this place I asked the guy at the register what he recommended. He said the chicken and spaghetti meal was very popular so that's what we got. 2 pieces dark meat chicken, plus a side of spaghetti and a drink was almost $16! Wow, for fast food that's hella expensive. We ended up with 2 meals of chicken and spaghetti and 1 meal of chicken and palabok. Plus 3 mango pies. Total was about $60!! Wow, for 3 people to eat at a fast food joint, that's a ton of money. Damn. We did try the pineapple juice and that was nice, I liked the spaghetti more than I thought I would. And the palabok was good too. The spicy chicken was better than the regular, but both were nowhere near as good as KFC....not sure why there is such a hype?? Not even close. I did love the pie. My daughter did not like the food much. I would definitely come back, but probably not too soon. Overall I thought it was tasty, and different. However I do think it's way way way overpriced. $60 for 3 people is something I would expect to pay at a sit down full service restaurant not fast food. The app really helps circumvent this, though picking up you still have to wait to be seen in the pickup area. The staff is friendly and had staff cleaning the eating areas and trash which can be difficult with the amt of customers they had that day. While many people rave of the chicken. The steak burger comes with a free soda or pineapple juice so I chose pineapple juice. After ordering I waited about 10-15 minutes before my order was ready but there's a manager who will check on the status of customers' orders. I got my order after a bit and was on my way. The chicken was still warm by the time I got to my destination. It's crispy and crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. I didn't really put too much gravy on my chicken but it was good both with and without the gravy. Adobo rice was packed with flavor and tasted delicious. I tried the spaghetti and it was decent. Jolibee? No, I wasn't very jolly when I received my meal. I came to this place after reviews peppered my TikTok and Instagram recommendations. The hype felt very authentic - a new take on fast food, something never before seen in America. As I waited in line, I was excited. The workers were kind and the ambiance was very nice. I received my food in good timing. About 5 minutes for 2 pieces of chicken, fires, and a peach pie. My mango drink I had was ok, although very sweet. I've eaten mangoes and I don't know about that drink. I think i'll stick to the mango drinks from the Indian store. When I received my food I felt myself fly into the hair as the smell wafted to my nose. Almost as if I was in a cartoon, where I was mickey mouse sniffing a delicious treat. As I took my first bite, I knew something was wrong. The chicken was alright, but the flavor was lacking. I ordered the spicy chicken and felt it was more of a mild taste. Excusable if the other food was good, but it was ok at best. Honestly, the highlight of my meal was the pie, which had a great flavor. Ironically, the pie was crispier than the chicken. I love Jollibee! Was my first time at this location finally. Went after going to Calibunga in SJ. I used to go to the one in Ktown in LA the time when I lived close to that location. I normally am a bit turned off by this location cause there's always a big line of people probably since it's in the great mall. However when I went the line moved quickly and my food came out only a few mins after I sat down. The ladies working here are so sweet too very kind! My go to is the spicy chicken sandwich, this time I tried it as the deluxe one with the lettuce and tomatoes which it was a nice touch! But I think in the future I'll stick to the regular spicy chicken sandwich cause it wasn't as spicy with the lettuce and tomatoes added. Still tasted amazing of course! This is my 3rd time eating at Jollibees, and I wanted to try it a few more times before I write an honest review. (I've lived in countries before where there were no Jolibees so these were my first times trying it). Out of all the fast food chains, Jollibees does the best fried chicken. It is always served piping hot, fresh, the skin is extremely crispy (no heavy batter) and the first bite sends you to heaven. I've tried the original Vs spicy but after 3 times, I would recommend to just go for spicy for more flavour. This round I tried the Aloha burger - generally ok but I'd concentrate on the chicken. I go to the outlet at Great Mall and it can get crowded - I would advise to just order it via the app, and collect it (usually ready in 10 minutes). They are fast and efficient though. Tip: You can download the app to get some coupons (only for delivery and pick-up). P.S.- I've also noticed that different countries have different types of chicken in Jollibees - in America they only give drumsticks and thighs which is great! You can't go wrong with jollibee man. They recently got a renovation and the place looks great, lots of space to eat inside the restaurant. This place is busy no matter what time you go, so best to bet on getting there early. The fried chicken is always a hit, especially with the gravy and rice. Try out their burger steak, and don't forget the pineapple juice cause that pineapple juice has to have crack in it or something cause I can't get enough, and I don't even do crack. Surprisingly the burger and fries are really tasty too. I never thought of getting a burger here but it's worth it.
