Greeted by a friendly, but busy employee at peak dinner rush on a Thursday night. I feel like Five Guys has gotten quite expensive over the years with inflation, so I decided to get the patty melt and a small fry. Somehow, the patty melt was cheaper than the cheeseburger even though both have a single patty and all the add-ons are complimentary (what a deal!). There had got to be at least 7-8 orders ahead of mine so the 15-20 minute wait was not surprising, but it definitely wasn't "fast-food." The staff were working as hard as they possibly could, so I don't have an issue with it. While I waited I helped myself out to the complimentary peanuts! I think because of the short-staffing and dinner rush time, the tables were left pretty messy; basically not the most tidy. But, a few swipes of a napkin did the trick and I was still able to enjoy my food! Of course, I have to mention, in my own words, the "Five Guys Way", where I order a small fry, and then what I actually get is arguably a Medium-Large fry since they fill up the cup, and then take another scoop and dump it on top and into of the takeout bag. The cashier called out a friendly hello & was wonderful while we ordered. I got a bacon cheese dog all the way, no tomatoes , no onions w/ a side of fresh jalapeños, a large fry, & a chocolate shake. The shake was chocolatey, like I had a spoonful Hershey's chocolate syrup!!! Delish!!! The French fries were piping hot & well seasoned. And the bacon cheese dog, super YUM!!! These burgers have no business being so good!!!!! Literally one of the best cheeseburgers!! Love going to this location, the staff is so friendly and always greet you as you walk in. If I order online, it's always ready or if it's not ready they will acknowledge you and let you know the status of it. I love how you can customize the shakes, bacon peanut butter banana is a fav of mine. And I love the free peanuts to eat as you wait!! There's always space to eat inside and seats outside as well. Mind you, I love me some Five Guys. The food always hits, and that's why I keep coming back. But what I will not stand for is rude and discriminatory behavior from staff. After I placed my order, an unhoused man came in and also paid for his meal. Despite the fact that he was a paying customer just like everyone else, I watched and heard a female employee repeatedly ask her coworkers to remove him from the restaurant. What made it worse was that she spoke in Spanish -- assuming no one would understand -- saying things that were dismissive and demeaning. Unfortunately for her, I understood every word. Luckily, one of the male employees stepped in and told her clearly that he is a paying customer and has every right to sit and eat his food. I respect him for showing the basic humanity and professionalism that should be the standard in any customer-facing role. To treat someone differently simply because of their circumstances is unacceptable. If a person is respectful, calm, and paying for their food, they deserve the same dignity as anyone else who walks through those doors. Period. Five Guys corporate needs to see this, and management at this location needs to address it. Staff should be trained on respect, inclusivity, and professionalism, because I come here for great burgers -- not to watch someone be humiliated for existing. Do better. read more

I am sick of discussions with people on the "best fast food burger"... In 'n Out, Shake Shack, Five Guys... if you care about quality ingredients, you should go for Five Guys. Parking is plentiful and easy to find. A bit chilly inside. Seating is ample. There were little people. The ambiance was average. There were several workers that livened the place. I ordered Bacon cheeseburger all the way no mayo (5/5): wow this burger was really loaded! The first bite really just hit. The pickles had the first punch in and everything else just followed. The fries were also really good. They also gave a generous amount. The fries were big and crispy yet the interior was still soft. Google/apple pay is accepted here. Though Five Guys is on the pricier end for fast food, their food tastes amazing. The interior was clean, parking was easy and there wasn't a line. The bacon cheeseburger is my favorite (cut in half) and the cheese was melted and gooey (my favorite!). For the burgers (if you've never been here before), you can choose available toppings and condiments for free. I love that you can add items like grilled mushrooms and not worry about additional charges. My favorite is their fries! They're always extremely crispy with a soft interior. If you come in knowing you'll have a slightly pricier / slightly soggier burger than most chains. You'll be content. I actually like their burger size and I'm always full afterwards. It does get messy and the oily fries added directly to the bag don't help the fact all your napkins are going to be pre-oiled now. Their bacon cheeseburger is off the hook and not too greedy! The Cajun fries tasted like it's aroma! It was crunchy on the outside but soft inside! Wasn't mushy at all or veggie like fries lol. I like this location rather than the one off of Brokaw. I have been here twice.. twice w/ 2 different colleagues. I was recently here on Tuesday. He Skyped to ask me to lunch to console me for my advanced age. I just turned 37. And it's not like he's younger than me... haha. Check your orders! The lady who helped us was super sweet and helpful. We ordered 5 burgers, a plain hot dog and 2 large fries to go. Order didn't take too long. We did a quick count as we're driving away and was missing a burger so turned around. They apologized and quickly made another. This is probably my favorite Five Guys location. Great customer service, and the food is almost always very good. There have been a few times they have been very slow and twice the fries were a little colder/rubbery than I would have liked, but they have always been really nice about remaking them. The burgers are great, they'll make it without a bun and with a ton of toppings too, which is my favorite way. And I always get the cajun on the side and ask for extra and sprinkle it on the burger too. I also had the "little fries" which is little but overflowing into the bag which was oily and soaked as a good Five Guys burger does. I also took some peanuts to go. Everything was great and I was doubly stuffed! I do appreciate the all you can put on your burger toppings like the grilled onions and mushrooms! Only word to the wise is that you can't come here if you have a peanut allergy. They cook everything in it and there's boxes of peanuts so peanut allergens beware!
