We stopped by this location as we are staying in Irvine, and my lovely lady was in the mood for some good spicy fried chicken. I found it odd that this location is found in a Seafood City supermarket, as I live near the corporate US headquarters in West Covina, and the two locations near me are both standalone locations. Apparently, it's not uncommon to find locations in Seafood city locations. In any case, this location is quite busy. There was quite a line of people there at 4pm, with every table full and quite a number of people waiting for their order to be called. We placed our order for 6 pieces of spicy dark chicken and a side of mashed potatoes and adobo rice. We were informed there is a 20 minutes wait, so we spent that time walking around the grocery store. In terms of food, we weren't disappointed and the chicken had a nice flavor profile and a nice crisp. The mashed potatoes was decent but seemed to be low on gravy; luckily, they usually give a cup of gravy for dipping your chicken into. The adobe rice is ok, but nothing too special. Overall, this visit wasn't bad, and we would likely pick up some chicken at this location again when we are in the area, but I don't think we would ever dine in here. read more

She was so sweet and patient. I couldn't figure out what to order just because there were new items on the menu I didn't recognize, or maybe I just didn't remember they were ever there. It had been a few years since our last visit to any Jollibee. After ordering at the front, you can sit inside anywhere you'd like. In case you're wondering, restrooms are to the back right inside of Jollibee. What we order or have had; 1) fried chicken - it is so darn delicious. Light crunchy crust with a juicy and tender chicken on the inside. They give you gravy but I never eat it with that. I think it takes away from the flavor of the chicken itself. The price for a bucket is reasonable and it's all dark meat which I prefer. I don't ever have to worry about getting white meat in error which always happens at P...s chicken. 2) palabok - the serving size for this is quite small in my opinion, but that could just be me. I can literally eat a ton of this stuff. It's not the best palabok I've had and it could use some patis (fish sauce) for more saltiness and flavor, along with tangier lemon juice. When we buy palabok here, I usually purchase a half tray for the family. I don't ever like not having enough palabok, otherwise I am just not going to be satisfied with my meal. 3) spaghetti - I DO NOT order this. It is extremely sweet for my taste. I also don't like the hot dog that is mixed in. I prefer my spaghetti chunky with just a tad bit of sweetness. 4) peach mango pie - this is actually not bad. I love the crust. I usually take out the extra jam or whatever is in there. I like sweets, but I enjoy sweets that are just on the brink of sweetness. 5) just an FYI. They have a soda fountain towards the back right when you pass the counter. For me, the chicken is five stars, but the rest of the food I have had here is a three. Quick easy meals, good to dine in and take out. I appreciate that the restaurant is usually clean with plenty of seating. Located at the entrance of the supermarket, their giant bee mascot at the door is hard to miss. The servers are also nice and make sure that the line moves quickly. For a family of 5, we usually order the 12 piece bucket with one side of fries, three chicken strips for the littles, and that's enough to feed the family with enough left over for a couple of sandwiches. Normally I feel like the food is a bit on the salty side, and definitely carb heavy, so we dont stop by too often. Their main sides are fries, mashed potatoes, spaghetti and rice, not to mention every chicken order comes with a side of gravy - that was surprising the first time but totally made sense once you dipped your chicken in. My main complaint was that I needed something green and refreshing to cut through the fried stuff. Thankfully they've added coleslaw to the menu! I love Jollibee for one thing, and one thing only. That one thing is their Jolly Spaghetti because something about it is always so good! This location is located inside of the Seafood City, but you don't have to go far, because right when you enter, it's on the left side. I placed a togo order on their website, and was really happy with their communications. The order was running late, but they provided me with a heads up via text. This location does not have a drive through, or drive up option, so you have to go in and get it. The food was ready at their updated time, and we were able to pick it up quick and easy. If you wanted to dine in, there were a handful of seats in their store. The spaghetti itself was delicious, and I probably gobbled that up in less than 15 minutes. I specifically ordered spicy chicken, and the box was clearly marked spicy with the flags, but it turns out only about half of the pieces were actually spicy while the rest were regular. I was sharing the meal with my family, and the people who wanted spicy chicken barely got any because most of the pieces weren't spicy at all. It kind of defeated the whole point of ordering the spicy option. I even got a drink expecting the spicy kick like usual, but it wasn't really needed since most of the chicken wasn't spicy. I usually notice a small injection of spice inside but only two I've noticed had the obvious spice. This is normally my favorite location and I've had great experiences here before, which is why this was such a letdown. Let me set the stage here lol. First time visiting a Jollibee, first few times of ever having Jollibee (I may have had there chicken once in a lifetime ago but, honestly can't remember), first time having any menu item other than their chicken. We walked in about 15 minutes prior to close (I know.. the worst kind of customers) but, regardless the staff was very friendly. Realizing now that their food is pre-made so there was really no extra lift from the staff to make any of the items we ordered. We ordered a bucket of chicken, the spaghetti, chicken strips and the pallabo (the thin rice noodles with minced pork?) Everything we had was delicious, with the exception of the chicken strips which were extremely dry and just looked sad lol (photos for reference.) I was pleasantly surprised with how tender and juicy the chicken was, even knowing that we got the last bits before close. Everyone always raves about their gravy and I will admit, they have good gravy. The consistency was better than KFC's gravy although, the taste was pretty comparable. The spaghetti, which is a sweet spaghetti, with chopped up hot dogs, was honestly so good! I can see how it is a love or hate for each person's pallet but, I personally really enjoyed it! Lastly the pallabo, was so good! The rice noodles are super thin, and soft enough that honestly you could feed it to a child and not worry about a choking hazard lol. The minced/pork paste was also very flavorful! They provide a packet of lemon juice to add on top, and I would recommend asking for a few extra packets to enhance the flavor. She was straight asking for money to get something for her son to eat. When she got to our table, we offered to buy her son something from jollibees but she was quick to say no not from here.
