The Spicy Chicken Joy here is the best! They are always crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and has the perfect spicy kick to them. The fried chicken at Jollibee is hands down my favorite compared to other fried chicken fast food shops. Service here is mostly friendly, but when they get busy, they can be a bit snippy. They have an online order and pick up system now, so it makes takeout a lot quicker if you don't want to wait in line during rush hour. read more

For fast food fried chicken, Jollibee is decent but I I might have a different benchmark for fried chicken. This was only my second visit, as I was sent on a mission by a friend to grab the Final Fantasy collab code. The place was packed out the door and most people seemed to be there for the collab meal. That said, they were out of the blue drink, and it didn't come with the Moogle-themed cup, so for anyone who actually cares for it, that's already a letdown. This is just day 2. As for the basics, there was one odd miss. I ordered mashed potatoes as a side and had to walk around looking for a spoon and napkins, only to find out they're kept behind the counter. In a packed store, having to go back to wait and ask for something that should've been included with a dine-in order feels unnecessary. The ube pie was good though. Flaky, hot, and not overly sweet. But overall, it's hard to justify the $21 price tag when the experience feels incomplete and doesn't match what's being advertised for this collab. read more

This Jollibee is located in Seafood city supermarket and in the same plaza as Walmart. It seemed decently busy. I used the app to order online. I was disappointed to see that I could not only order chicken and had to order a combo with fries and biscuit. I didn't want to eat too much food, so I wish I could just order chicken. I ordered the 2 pieces of chicken (spicy) with a biscuit, and side of fries. I also got the Ube pie which was free because I had my birthday coupon. Everything was delicious! I love how tender the chicken is. What disappointed me was the slow service and the way the app notified me it was ready when clearly, they hadn't even started assembling it. I feel like their service is very slow and inefficient. The workers were nice and checked on me, but I almost wanted to clock in and get the food myself lol. Ambiance is very casual. For my lunch I got the adobo rice and mashed potatoes. Washed down the meal with the pineapple juice. When I visited during lunch it was a bit busy so some of the tables were not cleaned. You can get fried chicken regular or spicy. You can also get chicken tenders. The sauce options are nice. The staff is always friendly and the location is very clean. We stopped by this location as we are staying in Irvine, and my lovely lady was in the mood for some good spicy fried chicken. I found it odd that this location is found in a Seafood City supermarket, as I live near the corporate US headquarters in West Covina, and the two locations near me are both standalone locations. Apparently, it's not uncommon to find locations in Seafood city locations. In any case, this location is quite busy. There was quite a line of people there at 4pm, with every table full and quite a number of people waiting for their order to be called. We placed our order for 6 pieces of spicy dark chicken and a side of mashed potatoes and adobo rice. We were informed there is a 20 minutes wait, so we spent that time walking around the grocery store. In terms of food, we weren't disappointed and the chicken had a nice flavor profile and a nice crisp. The mashed potatoes was decent but seemed to be low on gravy; luckily, they usually give a cup of gravy for dipping your chicken into. The adobe rice is ok, but nothing too special. Overall, this visit wasn't bad, and we would likely pick up some chicken at this location again when we are in the area, but I don't think we would ever dine in here. read more

Family was craving some jollibee fried chicken this weekend so husband drove to the nearest one and picked up a dozen chicken pieces. We got the spicy flavor and the Korean tangy sauce flavor. Both were good but I prefer the original spicy flavor. The Korean one was so sour, but husband loved it. We also got 6 mango pies, these are so delicious. The line was so long so I ordered online for easy pick up within 15 minutes, you can even earn reward points that way to get some $ off on the next visit. I'm honestly pretty disappointed with my order tonight. I specifically ordered spicy chicken, and the box was clearly marked spicy with the flags, but it turns out only about half of the pieces were actually spicy while the rest were regular. I was sharing the meal with my family, and the people who wanted spicy chicken barely got any because most of the pieces weren't spicy at all. It kind of defeated the whole point of ordering the spicy option. I even got a drink expecting the spicy kick like usual, but it wasn't really needed since most of the chicken wasn't spicy. I usually notice a small injection of spice inside but only two I've noticed had the obvious spice. This is normally my favorite location and I've had great experiences here before, which is why this was such a letdown. I love Jollibee. One of my favorite fried chicken chains ever. The breading is so crispy and full of flavor, but what makes it so special is how juicy the chicken is. Every bite seems to gush with chicken juices and it's so delightful. I always get their spicy chicken. They changed the spicy chicken recipe a while back and made it even more spicy which I absolutely loved. Not to mention dipping the chicken in their signature gravy. Ughhh it is to die for. My favorite side is their adobo rice. It's super flavorful and so good when you eat it with gravy and chicken skin. I am personally not a fan of their spaghetti since it has that sweet taste that I am not accustomed to, but I can understand why it's so popular. In terms of service they are always very quick. My only complaint is that sometimes they run out of the spicy chicken which sucks, but the regular standard chicken is still good as well. The ambiance is exactly what you expect at any fast food restaurant. It's usually a little bit loud dude to high volume of customers coming in and out, but that is to be expected. Still gets crowded around lunch time and inside is kind of oily/dingy (probably d/t lack of open windows/circulation) but service is relatively fast ( not too friendly). Surprisingly after all these years the quality remains the same, which can't always be said about chain stores. With inflation, I wouldn't say its the cheapest thing. I don't think they have week- day deals, but they have meal deal specials that are more worth it than the og menu (price similar to like burger King of $12-20) order online to pick up fast at the cubby beside Spicy fried chicken- nice crisp, slight cayenne spicy aftertaste kick. Goes well with the gravy that comes with. Not too salty or oily, juicy chicken inside. Usually a drumstick and a thigh piece (2pc meal deal) Upgraded side to spaghetti (+1.50), comes in a cup and had around 3 hot dog slices. It's normal spaghetti and they pour over the sauce which is slightly sweet and less tomatoes. Its more neutral so if you don't like the acidity of Italian spaghetti you might enjoy it. Its less sweet than I remember though Peach mango pie - top recommendation for me is actually the pies. It came out so hot and fresh that the outside was crispy and inside was oozing liquid. Its not too sweet or oily and taste relatively fresh for a handheld pie compared to some mcd pies. They really fry a nice light bubbly crust. They momentarily forgot my soda at first because of how busy it was. The bathroom requires a code so remember to ask. read more

She was so sweet and patient. I couldn't figure out what to order just because there were new items on the menu I didn't recognize, or maybe I just didn't remember they were ever there. It had been a few years since our last visit to any Jollibee. After ordering at the front, you can sit inside anywhere you'd like. In case you're wondering, restrooms are to the back right inside of Jollibee. What we order or have had; 1) fried chicken - it is so darn delicious. Light crunchy crust with a juicy and tender chicken on the inside. They give you gravy but I never eat it with that. I think it takes away from the flavor of the chicken itself. The price for a bucket is reasonable and it's all dark meat which I prefer. I don't ever have to worry about getting white meat in error which always happens at P...s chicken. 2) palabok - the serving size for this is quite small in my opinion, but that could just be me. I can literally eat a ton of this stuff. It's not the best palabok I've had and it could use some patis (fish sauce) for more saltiness and flavor, along with tangier lemon juice. When we buy palabok here, I usually purchase a half tray for the family. I don't ever like not having enough palabok, otherwise I am just not going to be satisfied with my meal. 3) spaghetti - I DO NOT order this. It is extremely sweet for my taste. I also don't like the hot dog that is mixed in. I prefer my spaghetti chunky with just a tad bit of sweetness. 4) peach mango pie - this is actually not bad. I love the crust. I usually take out the extra jam or whatever is in there. I like sweets, but I enjoy sweets that are just on the brink of sweetness. 5) just an FYI. They have a soda fountain towards the back right when you pass the counter. For me, the chicken is five stars, but the rest of the food I have had here is a three. Better than KFC, I've been to this Filipino fried chicken spot over 20 times! I always order the 6-piece Chickenjoy Bucket, just enough to fill me up. The Spicy is tastier than Original, but it can make bathroom trips uncomfortable... They provide a bowl of dipping sauce (extra costs more), which is enough for six pieces of fried chicken. I see the Peach Mango Pie as McDonald's crispy apple pie, but with a peach and mango filling instead （same as the Ube Pie）. Quick easy meals, good to dine in and take out. I appreciate that the restaurant is usually clean with plenty of seating. Located at the entrance of the supermarket, their giant bee mascot at the door is hard to miss. The servers are also nice and make sure that the line moves quickly. For a family of 5, we usually order the 12 piece bucket with one side of fries, three chicken strips for the littles, and that's enough to feed the family with enough left over for a couple of sandwiches. Normally I feel like the food is a bit on the salty side, and definitely carb heavy, so we dont stop by too often. Their main sides are fries, mashed potatoes, spaghetti and rice, not to mention every chicken order comes with a side of gravy - that was surprising the first time but totally made sense once you dipped your chicken in. My main complaint was that I needed something green and refreshing to cut through the fried stuff. Thankfully they've added coleslaw to the menu! This location is located inside of the Seafood City, but you don't have to go far, because right when you enter, it's on the left side. I placed a togo order on their website, and was really happy with their communications. The order was running late, but they provided me with a heads up via text. This location does not have a drive through, or drive up option, so you have to go in and get it. The food was ready at their updated time, and we were able to pick it up quick and easy. If you wanted to dine in, there were a handful of seats in their store. The spaghetti itself was delicious, and I probably gobbled that up in less than 15 minutes.
