I have been coming to Joe's Cleaners for many, many years. Freddy and his staff have always done an outstanding job at a great price. It was always nice to come in and be greeted so friendly. I am truly sad and disappointed that after so many years the property management won't renew his lease. It breaks my heart that Freddy is being forced to close his business. Especially after struggling during the Covid closures! It's a huge loss for Freddy, his staff, the community and for all his customers. Freddy, I truly wish you and all your staff the very best in the future from the bottom of my heart. You will be greatly missed and I hope to see you land somewhere great! read more

Came here while looking for a reasonable cleaners. 4.00 each pre paid for two pairs of pants. They were ready in three days, even better! They are busy both times I came, so you will be waiting. But they do a good job and are friendly. They are closer to the end of the strip mall. read more

I been coming here as long as I can remember, my mother would come here all the time when I was a child and teenager. Now 33, I come here still because Freddy is an awesome man, he's a great man. It makes me really happy to see him, it just brings back good memories. Besides all that, service, the price, professional, any altering I've done here. My mother did as well, but she died when I was 20, but I continued to come here and I always will. Designer brands, I have had no problems bringing it here as well. I'm very thankful for this place and for knowing Freddy throughout the years. read more

This is a great loss to our local community if Fred does not return somewhere else to deliver the valuable, extremely professional dry cleaning services the business has provided for so many years including when Fred took it over subsequent to working there earlier in his career before becoming an owner, and bringing his fine family to work inside the business also. Armando, the tailor, will be sorely missed also considering the excellent work he had provided to our family. We wish Fred, and his family great things ahead while hoping they re-establish their valuable business somewhere else soon! read more

A story of absolute HONESTLY !!! My daughter Took her husband's suit to Joe's cleaner not knowing he had cash in the jacket pocket "$5000." When she got it back her husband was frantic the cash was gone. He went back to Joe's cleaners and the owner, Freddy handed him the cash wrapped in his receipt. The absolute honesty in this company is so overwhelming. Thank you Joe's cleaners for your great karma and making this world so positive. read more

Freddy is amazing! My family members have been going here for years and built a friend like relationship with him. He is Very professional but very personable as well. I had uniforms cleaned every week for 6 months and he always took care of me and my uniforms always looked sharp. Sometimes I would see him twice a week and he would always have my clothes ready to go as I walked him. He is also reasonably priced! I will miss seeing him weekly ! read more

My family has been using Joe's since we moved to Simi Valley in 1986. Freddie is the BEST! Definitely recommend for all your alterations and dry cleaning needs. Service is amazing. read more

They keep me looking my best! Very fair prices, always done when they said it would be ready for PU, they have never lost anything of mine, helpful friendly staff. I moved out to Moorpark earlier this year, but the dry cleaners I've interviewed in MP are too high and hard to talk to. Joe's discount cleaners on Cochran by Staples store is still getting my business. Nice family owned operation. Tailor on premises too! read more

I have been going to Joe's Cleaners since Freddy, the current owner was just a hard working employee. The service has always been great. I am always greeted with a smile and they will often see me approaching and have my pickup ready before I get to the counter. In one of the reviews below, someone mentioned leaving a large sum of cash in a pocket and having it returned promptly. I collect high end pocket knives and more than once have left a very expensive one in a pocket and Freddy always finds them and has it put in a drawer for when I come in for my pickup. Now that his kids are old enough, they work in the family business, so it truly is a family affair as well. I see a couple low star reviews below from many years ago, but there's nothing but five stars since Freddy took over. With the Covid 19 virus and everyone working from home, the dry cleaning business has been hit hard. This place is highly recommended and worthy of your support! They will not disappoint! read more

What do you say when you experience an act of kindness....you tell others!!! I was driving down the street and saw this business. I walked in and asked if they fix broken zippers. The next thing I know my jeans were picked up by a gentleman and carefully examined. He then went to work. He promptly fixed the zipper and returned it to me. When I asked what I owed him...he said I owed nothing! Thank you, sir, for your kindness. You are a good and thoughtful man....may your business continue to thrive! read more

I am a new customer, first and last time. Took in 6 shirts and they turned out shabby. Not worth the price paid. First dry cleaners to demand paid in full before service is rendered. read more

I dropped a bridesmaid dress off for alterations. Came back the day AFTER I was told it would be ready and discovered that the dress was lying in a heap on a shelf, untouched. The excuse was that the person who was supposed to do the alteration had been sick all week. If that was the case, why didn't someone at least call me and let me know? They had plenty of time to find someone else to do it! On the plus side, they seemed to realize that they made a HUGE mistake and steamed the dress right away for no charge. I had to get someone to help me carefully pin the dress so I could wear it in the wedding the next day. It looked funny in the back, but at least it was wearable. read more

I had such a wonderful experience with Freddy! My wedding is in 1 month and I was desperate to find someone to dry clean my dress before my big day. Ruined my clothes, and poor stain removing effort. You get what you pay for. Bummer, my quest continues for a good affordable dry cleaner.

Went there for the first and last time. I brought my baseball jacket in, it needed the collar stiching redone. I dropped it off on Friday(11-13-15) and was given a pick up date for the following Wednesday. I came in the next Wednesday and it was not done. He said his guy called in sick but promised me, as soon as his employee came in the next day, he would have it done . I said I would be back the next day to pick it up in the afternoon. When I went to pick it up on Thursday, it was still not even started. I said, let me have my jacket back, I saw the owner and lifted up my jacket and said you had this for a week and did nothing. I did not hear an I'm sorry. In fact, he had the ticket with my name and phone number. I waited to see if he would call and apologize but nothing. I would not refer them to anyone, period!!!!!!!!!!!! read more
