We have used this business in the past and had positive experiences, which is why I chose to use them again. Unfortunately, this last experience was extremely disappointing. When I dropped off my dresses, I was told they would be ready in approximately seven days and that I would receive a notification when they were completed. After not hearing anything, I gave it some time. Nearly a month later, with the event approaching, I stopped by their location at the town center to check on the status of my dresses, only to discover they were no longer there. I never received any notification that they had moved, nor did I receive any communication that my dresses were ready. I called the number on file to find out what was going on. After some time, they were able to locate my dresses and informed me that they were ready for pickup. They then provided me with a new address a few miles away. The most disappointing part came on the wedding day when we put the dresses on and discovered that one of the alterations had not been completed. After waiting nearly a month, receiving no communication, and having to track down my dresses myself, finding out that the work wasn't even finished was incredibly frustrating. Very disappointed with the lack of communication and quality control during this experience. read more

White Nike jacket got embroidery done, 5.11 pullover had its pockets combined into a single kangaroo pocket, the two Nike pullovers to the right had zipper pockets added to them. Getting more pullovers done with zipper pockets since it's just makes them more functional! I came to Style Adix Alterations & Custom Apparel with two jobs: 1. Re-designing my mother's wedding dress from 1978 to create a fun wedding rehearsal dress for me. 2. Alterations and bustle for my wedding gown. Style Adix came through majorly and successfully and beautifully created, essentially, two dresses for me. The re-design of my mother's dress was not only new and fresh, but stayed so true to and respected the vintage feel of it...something that I wanted to keep. My mom also massively approved of the final outcome. Such a fun way to pay tribute to our moms! The alterations of my dress took a beautiful gown and transformed it into MY beautiful gown! The dress ended up hugging my body so comfortably, enhancing all my bodies curves and best qualities. And dancing the night away was no problem with my beautiful bustle...which seriously changed the look of the gown in the best way possible (why would I even need a second dress!?). The owner, Chelsea, was such a pleasure to work with. She was informative, friendly, insanely talented, and could not have been a more genuine individual to communicate with. Adding things, taking away details from the dress and making sure it hugged my body but I still felt comfortable. I took Chelsea's advice to add a bustle for the dress. Oh my what a treasured find! I wanted to give kudos to Chelsea for turning my dress from drab to fab!!! I went out on a limb and decided I wanted to go to a personal seamstress for my alterations. It's a little bit of a drive but glad I did. She booked me right away for my fitting. She made me feel super comfortable and was very personable. I really like how she was able to make suggestions and give options on what I should do on my gown. I got the sleeves shortened near my wrist, she also fixed the shoulder sleeves to stay on properly, she added cups to the chest area and hemmed the bottom. Everything came out perfect!! I brought in a leather biker jacket that needed to have the sleeves shortened by like 4 inches. they had zippers on the sleeves.
