I tried to have a pair of overalls dry cleaned here for next day pickup and when I came to get them they weren't ready. Apparently they had lost the ticket or misplaced the write up, and I get it that mistakes happen, but the lady had attitude with me when I said that i was there to pickup an order. She was apologetic once she realized they messed up but seriously wth. The guy I dropped them off with was also rude. He asked what the overalls were for and I said I sell them on Etsy. If I could give them zero stars I would. I dropped off my bedding to wash, and two pillow cases to wash and add a zipper. They told me it would be ready in like a week to pick it up. It's been almost a month and I've called almost every other day after the date they told me it would be ready to check if it's ready for pickup and they kept telling me I don't know where Julian left them, or it's not ready, or that I just missed Julian. I dropped off three of my wife's jackets on a Wednesday and was told they'd be ready the following Wednesday. When I came back to pick them up, I was told they weren't ready and that they were at another location with no real apology, just "come back tomorrow." I couldn't make it the next day, so I returned Friday at 2:30pm, only to find a sign on the door saying they'd be back at 3pm. I came back again on Saturday, and was told the jackets still weren't there and wouldn't be available until Monday afternoon. At that point, I asked for the owner's number. When he called me back, instead of taking responsibility, he was rude and gave excuse after excuse. I explained that I didn't care about the reasons and that, given the inconvenience and poor service, the fee should be waived. That clearly upset him and he refused. He said I had to pay in cash, and even mentioned making a note in their system. It's not about the $27, it's about basic customer service, which was completely lacking. This was a frustrating and unnecessary experience from start to finish. I will never go back, and I'd strongly recommend others think twice before using this cleaners. I needed to clean a bridesmaid's dress and get it fitted; I wore it once inside but there was a strange stain. Choice 1 Cleaners did an excellent job getting rid of it, and they were professional and polite. Regarding the alterations, I couldn't be happier with the job they did. I went to their other location on Cochran street, and after the first fitting, it still wasn't prefect, but they were happy to fix it, and now it looks great! I'm so excited, and so is the bride. Originally brought my suit pants in to have the waist extended. After getting the pants back and wearing them to an event, the seam next to the zipper came undone. I took the pants back in to get the seam repaired, a button tightened and the suit dry cleaned. Was quoted a week. My wife came back in a week to pick up the suit and was told "try back next week". I came back the following week and was told "the lady who does alterations has been sick and you suit is not yet ready, but we will call you tonight with a status update". No call. Waited two more weeks (now 4 weeks total) and went in today to pick up my suit. Walked in and was told they are closed (at 4:45pm - apparently they now close at 4:30pm for "summer hours"). Let the woman know I have been waiting 4 weeks for the suit and could she at least check to see if it is available and was told "the system is down, I can't check." So now we are going into week 5 of waiting for a suit based on a mistake their company originally made, 3 trips made in attempt to pick up the suit, and no answers.... I have been going there forever a couple of months now, and I've had the best experience ever with her. A couple weeks ago, I brought my 2-year-old daughter with me, and she LOVED the Halloween decorations. There was a specific spooky clock decoration that she talked about the whole way home. She kept saying "tik tok tik tok muahaha" . I just went in yesterday to drop off some items, and I told Taline about the clock and how much my daughter, Charlotte, loved it. She handed it to me and told me to give it to my daughter! She treats her customers and clothes the same way . I bring clothes and comforters for cleaning. They also do a wonderful job at tailoring. Needed some pants hemmed and called on a Saturday. Both locations had a person to take measurements that day. But a five day turnaround. Went back next Thursday, plenty of parking.
