I came here in a bind needing last-minute ironing for my daughter's photo shoot that was only a few hours away. I appreciated that they were willing to take the outfits on short notice -- but I quickly realized I was being taken advantage of. These were two small little girl outfits -- one was thin cotton and barely wrinkled to begin with, and the other was a light corduroy-type material. No cleaning, no repairs -- just ironing -- yet I was charged $50. On top of that, she insisted I pay in "CASH ONLY"which I felt was wrong and honestly came across as very sketchy. I'm always one to support local small businesses. To make sure I wasn't overreacting, I called a few other nearby dry cleaners afterward to compare pricing -- and not one of them quoted anything close to what I was charged. I expected help, not opportunism. I walked out feeling completely taken advantage of. I won't be returning, and I strongly recommend asking for pricing up front because that was my mistake. read more

I've been going here for years. They always do a great job, and I trust them with my most expensive clothes. Today, I needed a rush done for an upcoming trip and they cleaned linen, silk, and cashmere for me in 4-hours. Not only were they cleaned quickly but they were cleaned well. Thank you, Clearwoods! read more

Great quality of service and ownership. Most of the dry cleaning service have the owners running the business as well, for most that's a terrible thing, as majority are rude and have no time and are low on patience. BUT NOT THIS BUSINESS, the ownership are on site and very kind, caring and polite. Plus they provide and amazing service. read more

I have been a customer of Clearwoods for a few years now, I'd say since mid/late 2021, and I cannot praise their services enough. Every time I bring in my clothes, they come back looking immaculate, as if they were brand new. Everyone is incredibly friendly and I get excited to see the ladies at the front because they always greet me with a smile and are quick to address any specific requests or concerns I have. Whether it's a delicate silk blouse or a heavily stained suit, they handle everything with the utmost expertise. What sets this dry cleaning business apart is their consistency. No matter how many times I return, the quality of their work remains perfect and I always feel like family here. read more

I don't have enough words to say but wow! This establishment I would rate 10/10. I was in a jam this morning and needed something pressed last minute and these guys came in clutch. It was pressed very nicely and professional. Definitely recommending to my friends and family. See you guys soon! read more

WOW!!! What a change since the new owners took over and NOT in a good way!! The females who work the counter are RUDE, to say the least. Took a uniform in to be cleaned and pressed...then took it to Choice 1 to be pressed correctly! It's just sad, the old owners went out of their way to make things right if there was a problem. These people could care less if customers are happy. Will never go back to them read more

The ladies here are amazing, thoughtful and loving. They always take good care of my sons suits and all my tailoring needs.

I have been going to this location on and off for the last 1.5 years. Though my visits are infrequent, every time is a wonderful experience. I was helped by both Nana and Ena that are extremely friendly and have great attention to detail. I mainly bring in items for tailoring and appreciate their thorough questions to ensure that I am happy with the changes being made. They even have a changing room to be more precise in the fittings. Their pricing is fair for the great experience you receive :). read more

Had a swimsuit that needed altering and wasn't even sure it was possible. When I arrived the team reassured me that it was and exceeded my expectations! I'll definitely be back soon read more

Done quickly at a fair price. Rarely have need for dry cleaners but if I do this is my place.

Great customer service! They were able to work with me so last minute for tailoring. Super grateful for that!

Had them dry clean 3 shirts and a suit. They lost one shirts day before a wedding, but they made it right and refunded me. The even worse part is when I took off the plastic for the shirts on the day of the wedding, the other 2 shirts smelled like mildew! It's like the smell when you leave clothes in the washer overnight. Unacceptable. Take your business else where and stay away from this place. read more

Service is wonderful. I have taken dress shirts to be dry cleaned. I had my work pants to be hemmed.

If a customer service focused dry cleaner that exceeds your expectations is what you're looking for, Clearwoods is the dry cleaner for you. I was warmly greeted, then my concerns and questions were professionally addressed. My blazer was in rough shape, but now it looks almost new. Thank You for doing such a terrific job, Clearwoods! I'll be back soon. read more

I totally procrastinated on getting my wedding dress cleaned. Took me 2 years! Anyways I was aware that that was a long time for stains to set in so I was pleasantly surprised to see a COMPLETELY CLEAN DRESS! Wasn't going to hold it against them if they couldn't get it out but THEY DID! My dress that I danced in ALL NIGHT in and sat soiled for 2 years in a bag was made to look brand new! It was reasonably priced and put in a beautiful box. I will definitely be coming again soon. read more

Excellent service! They are always friendly, they get their job done when they said they would. I definitely recommend it.

I highly recommend Clearwoods Dry Cleaning. I found them on google review with good results. I recently graduated and was returning to La while in TSA the lady behind me (small splash) vomited on my lower pants leg. I immediately cleaned it with paper towel and Lysol. I was in need of dry cleaner when I landed I came here in fear of stains from the situation and the Lysol. I got my garment back. Stain free looks new how I purchased it from Nordstrom. I am so appreciative of their customer service. Most companies would have refused to clean it. I was open and honest about the situation. She took standard precautions, and accepted my business and honesty. She saved my investment I assumed I would have to through it away. Clearly my washer would have definitely destroyed my garment. I am so appreciative of the service provided and the excellent quality and customer service. Beautiful smiles ladies thank you so much. Please support Clearwoods family owned business. I am now a customer. I have a dress that's to long for me that was a gift she is going to make adjustments so it will fit me perfectly. I can't wait. . Yes prices are affordable, read more

Clearwoods Dry Cleaners - This is what I took in to have cleaned, however I can't upload photos right now because it's raining. - Dry Cleaning Near Me - Simi Valley, California

Took my daughter's $40 SUNdress in for a zipper fix at the end of last July before moving her to college. I picked it up a couple of weeks later and it was $25 for a 10 inch zipper on a size 3 dress. I kept it in my daughter's closet for her at my home since she had moved away. She came home for Easter and put it on to wear for church. The zipper would not pull up when it was on her body although the dress fit perfectly. My husband tried to pull it up as well and could not. I took it into Clearwoods explained my situation with my daughter being away in college and asked for it to be fixed. The woman at the counter said the dry cleaning tag wasn't hers although I had proof on my credit card and when I showed her that, she said it had been too long although it hadn't even been worn & the dry cleaning tag was still on it. She refused to fix the zipper then when I said that was not good customer service, she said she could give me a 50% discount to fix it again which would mean I would be paying a $40 fix for a $40 dress. Horrible customer service. She interrupted and argued with me as well. read more

Great Family business, always friendly and helpful. My clothes look great. So happy to support a local family business.

I have a uniform that I bring in once every couple of weeks to this place, and it always comes out spotless and beautiful. I started going because I had accidentally burned that uniform and I was too scared to burn it again, because it's $500. Not only has the burn mark now almost impossible to see, but now I can rely on the lovely ladies at Clearwoods to make sure my uniform comes back absolutely beautiful. My uniform pants are always smooth, with their pleats on full display, and there is not one wrinkle in sight. The people who work there are absolutely fantastic to interact with. The prices are incredibly reasonable, and they do their job in the most timely manner imaginable. I love this business and the employees. :) read more

Clearwoods has been my dry cleaners of choice for about a year now, and I couldn't be more pleased. The high quality and timely service is something I can count on, and although my dry cleaning needs are occasional, Ena and Nina have gone to the effort to REMEMBER me when I come into the shop, even calling me by name! I feel like I am living in a small town in a by-gone era! Clearwoods has earned my loyalty! read more

Best cleaner in Simi, Great customer service I recommend this cleaner to everyone to give them a tr.

Came in a couple days before New Year Eve after realizing I needed a coat for my outdoor plans. Edna took great care of me and found a solution for my problem. I hadn't realized there was damaged from moths on a favorite coat of mine. Edna made sure to catch me before I drove of to talk me through the care of my garmets at home so I could nip the problem right away. I always procrastinate to go to the dry cleaners because I'm nervous I'll get judged. Edna and her husband were very kind and it was such a comfortable experience. Will be taking all my dry cleaning here now on. read more

We have been going to Martinizing,- Clearwoods dry cleaners for several years. One of the best places I found to take my husband's suits, quick easy reasonably inexpensive. There was a southern lady working the counter, Glenda, but she has long since passed God Rest her soul. Owner and alterations lady Soco, works miracles! I bounce between weight and she can let out and take in my jeans and blouses. I also find bargains online and take them to her, for an extra nickel she fits them to me. Soco altered and pressed our daughter's wedding gown and fitted my son-in-law's oversized tux, both turned out perfect! Five stars for a great service! read more
