I don't come here often, but when we have big loads, or the mattress cover to wash, etc. we do come here. Today it was the mattress cover. I walked in on a Tuesday afternoon with a bag of cards my wife had given me left over from our previous visits and not much experience in using the machines. Angela and Carlos got me sorted out with a smile! Carlos showed me how to check the balances on my cards and even how to merge them together so we didn't have so many. Angela helped me get connected to the WiFi and before long I was settled in while the clothes took a spin. Everything was clean, the machines were in good order and there were plenty of options for various sizes. Staff at the location today failed to respect the posted "last wash" hours. Even though I arrived at 2:45 to get my wash started since the sign said last wash was at 3:30, the staff turned me away. I first came here about 6 months ago and the place was clean. The guy working was walking around cleaning countertops, washer tops, and the floor. Came in this evening and the place was filthy!!! All the floors had something on them, tables had black stuff and scratchers silver all over them. And many items had stickers saying they weren't working. I needed fifty cents added to my card and the guy working (on his phone behind the counter) told me that he couldn't add it to my card I had to add it from the machine and it was a $1 minimum. I get to the machine and it tells me it's a $10 minimum. So I go back and he tells me it's a $1 cash. I had a $5 so I asked him to break it for me. He starts yelling that I need to calm down and stop yelling at him. I told him I wasn't yelling and he kept saying I was yelling at him. I told him he needed to clean the front room because it was filthy!!! He didn't clean anything, just stayed behind the counter on his cell phone. I will never return to this place!!! Update: very condescending response and doesn't mention that the person working was confrontational and on his phone instead of working. I come here once, maybe twice a month to do my laundry and the employees are always nice. Angela is super sweet and helpful, making sure people know how much to put in the wash and what amount of soap. She makes me want to come back every time. That kind of customer service is what I'd expect at a hotel or restaurant, not a laundry center. It's great. The bags that are sold here are amazing and hold so much, plus you just throw them in with your wash so they're clean afterward. I rarely use the laundromat but when I do I have always used Simi Valley Laundry. But this last time I went a few days ago I had stuff stolen out of the washing machine. I literally left to go to my car to take a phone call for 10 minutes and I was missing several items when I put them into the dryer. When I asked the management, they were very unsympathetic and said oh well, it does happen sometimes. NEVER leave your clothes, unattended at this store. I came here this morning to wash some large comforters. Right when I was inside, I was greeted with a Hello and a smile. I walked over to the smiling team member. She said her name was Angela. She helped explain how the machines work, how to get a payment card and even stood right be me to make sure everything went smoothly. Angela made sure my wash was working perfectly and then helped me with the Dryers. This laundry-mat had several team members to help any client with their questions and assisted if needed. Great large washing machines. I was able to wash a comforter & a few blankets in one washer & one dryer. Staff was very nice and helpful.

Pricey place First off this laundromat doesn't take coins. You use dollars (1, 5, 10, 20) and add them onto a card. With that card you insert it Into the machines and pay that way. A 8 load giant washer is about $9.50 Next washer down is $8 to $7.50 (depending on extra wash or not) Then to dry your clothes, I used the biggest one, it was about 1 $ for every 10 mins. For three comforters it took about an hour to fully dry. This place is definitely on the pricier side, but there was and employee working at the time. In case you needed help with anything. I've been going to this laundromat every weekend for the past 6 months. Often times I am doing laundry until nearly closing at 11:00 pm. The gentleman that has been working is very polite to me, never rushing me although I am usually the only customer left. I am very disappointed this evening because when I went in to get my clothes from the washer the men working had corralled all of the carts to the back of the laundromat. I used one and put it by the dryer as my clothes dried. I went back in to get the laundry out and thinking I could use the counters to fold it all as I always do to find they used the carts to block off all of the counter tops leaving me and a few other customers with nowhere to fold. It's 10:00 & they don't close until 11:00. I felt like it was a passive aggressive way of telling us to leave. read more

AMAZING SERVICE AND CLEANLINESS. Carlos went above and beyond in terms of customer service for someone like me who looked like a deer in headlights trying to figure out what to do as I walked in! I felt very comfortable, especially since they have big windows with the sunshine out. Comfortable temperature inside the laundromat. I can't tell you how impressed I am by this place! Like the other reviewers mention, it's super clean and really is a nice destination for people seeking to do their laundry. There are tables and chairs, TV's, games for the kids (or the kids at heart)... They've done everything to make it comfortable for you to hang out and wait for your laundry if you choose to. I was visiting this laundry center to use their awesome drop off service. I have a cat who likes to splurge and purge :-( And she purged on my nice, new comforter. (Note to self: Buy duvet cover) So I dropped it off and they gave me a ticket and let me know that they'd call me when it was ready to pick. Yep,it was just that easy. They called the next day letting me know it was ready. And get this folks - a real, live person called and spoke with me! Not a call center or a robotic voice. That's when I knew this place was a true gem. My comforter was spotless and carefully wrapped in a plastic bag for transport. And the price was incredibly good. My washing machine has been broken over a month and half. So I have to take my laundry to the laundry mat. I was taking my laundry to another laundry mat. But that place wasn't being kept clean, so I decided to visit SImi Valley Laundry Center. I have to say I am so impressed with the cleanliness and the fact there are attendants there all the time! Today was the 2nd time I saw and talked to Angela. My first visit, she kindly showed me how to preload the payment card and answered some other questions that I had about the different washing machines. Today when I arrived, Angela was throughly cleaning the dryers inside and out! She was smiling as she worked and always kept an eye on the desk in case someone needed her assistance. I went to this laundromat to do laundry because my washer and dryer has not been ordered yet. Upon entering the laundromat it was very clean and I saw a maintenance person cleaning the machines after every wash. The only downside was you had to buy a card and load the card with money in order to use the machines. read more

Looks nice enough, but advertises false closing time. Their postings and signage say they close at 11pm, but they will not allow you to start a wash after 9pm, when I asked what they do when they are open for the two more hours, the guy working their explained "those two hours are just for me to clean the place up" By my definition the time when customers are not welcome and employees are cleaning up is not considered open hours. I drove 20 miles based on the false posting of operating hours that end at 11pm. Please update the posting as this is a disservice to anyone foolish enough to believe the posted hours. read more

Laudromats have modernized a lot since college days. From account cards, clean countertops, spacious aisles and wifi. Especially hardworking attendants like Brett Lefton, cleaning and keeping things in order, and courteous too. When the washer at home breaks down, this is more hygienic than borrowing a neighbor or friends machine because of hidden dirt and mildew trapped under the washtub. To respond to the owner, please note that I came to the said laundromat at 7:10 AM right after the place opened for business. I was expecting the machines were already cleaned and ready for use. Your comment of "checking the machine dispensers are clean before you start" is completely ignorant. Unless you are taller than my height of 5'2, you won't have a full view of the dispensers as the machines are large. You will need a step stool just to have a clear view of the top part of the machine. Besides, isn't that the job of the attendant to make sure that the machines are checked for cleanliness and efficiency? This just proves that your washers are NOT cleaned every night like you claimed. If it was cleaned then it should have drained properly with no issues in the early morning when the place opened for business. On another note, the attendant has NOT offered to rewash my clothes. Other than apologizing, she took the matter frustratingly as a recurring issue that is awaiting resolution from management. read more

Pros and Cons. Pros are that they have tv's, A/C, non coin op machines and large facility. Cons are their employees are rarely on time to start their shift. They used to have automatic unlocking doors but did away with that. The employees end up taking all the large machines. Some of the employees are very rude. I find it concerning that one employee brings her children to work and they help her. I've tried to reach out to the owner on the email listed on the website but my emails have never been returned. Update to my initial review. It's been 2 months and as per the employees the owner doesn't want to fix the A/C. Several of us here are talking about going elsewhere. It's definitely not the place it started out as being. Pretty disappointed. It's like a sauna in here. Poor employees have to work in conditions like this! read more

I'm sure this place works for some people, but my experience has been nothing but awful. First of all they're open until 9pm not 11pm their doors are open until 11pm but don't plan on doing any laundry after 9pm. I get there right before 9pm and load my machines, get a laundry card and it is a few minutes past 9pm and the machines won't work, they automatically shut off at 9pm and this is irreversible. An employee mentioned to me the last wash was at 9pm but how am I supposed to know that means "the machines shut off at 9pm no exceptions." It could mean make sure you're in the door about to start your laundry before 9pm, as I was getting bags from my car still. It isn't stated anywhere I checked every sign. They aren't open late they are unclear on purpose about their "last wash" policy and now I'm stuck down a bottle of detergent I had already put in my machines and stuck with a laundry card that's useless to me, with $15 on it I'll never get back cause they are very clear about their being "no refunds." If you're able to do laundry during the day then sure it's probably a great place but I don't have that option this was the soonest I could get here. To me these policies are scammy. If I had known that was the rule I would have changed the way I went about the situation or not even took the risk of trying to make it on time but I've never seen a laundromat with this policy and if I had I'm sure they would state clearly what they mean by it instead of some vague sentence that could mean almost anything. I'll avoid this place at all costs and bring up this story whenever I can in conversation. Terrible business. read more

Today I went to wash at my favorite laundry Center. As I'm unloading my clothes I notice a very aggressive brown Doberman- cornering a homeless man. The only thing that was between him and the dog, was his bike. I hear a voice of a man as he yells " BACK UP! BACK UP!". Well this was the owner of the dog. As I go in the guy goes in with his dog. The dog had no leash and was again barking at people coming in and out of the facility. The guy was continuing to yell at the dog, while pulling him from the collar. I tried to mind my own business and put my laundry to wash. I realized I need some more cash on my laundry card and headed to the cash loading machine. I saw the guy with his dog and the dog came towards me and I stopped and gave him the stern stare. I also took out my pepper spray as I thought it was going to charge at me. I think it realized I wasn't too afraid and it walked back to his owner. The owner took the dog from the collar and yanked it back and took it to the other side. I noticed there was lots of families with small kids. Also noticed everyone was more towards the back in groups talking but looking towards the guy and dog. I told a lady that the dog was too aggressive and should at least be on a leash. She agreed and said; " Yea and there's kids here who are afraid too. That's why we are on this side till our clothes finishes. I asked the lady has anyone told the attendant and she said no. I saw a lady ask him if the dog is aggressive. I hear him say he's not at all and is just playing bark. If a dog is cornering people and barking that's a bad sign. Then he takes his dog and walks out. I'm thinking he's finally leaving. As I'm walking back the guy comes back in with his dog unleashed again and barking at people passing by. I see people trying to avoid it by getting closer to the walls as they pass by. I searched for the attendant and find him. I asked the attendant if he can please ask the guy to put a leash on the dog or take him out as it's a threat for us. The attendant says; " Why don't you ask the owner yourself?" I'm confused because the owner for my understanding is an older man. I'm going to second guess he's the owners son. As I walk to him to tell him about the dog and suggest he place the dog on a leash due to his aggressive behavior and everyone concerned for their safety. I said; "Sr the dog has to be on a leash and controlled, it can't be doing that, because it will hurt someone. You being the owner, should know this is against law." He said aggressively; " The dog isn't aggressive! He's not biting anyone! I wouldn't breed a vicious dog!" I said; " Well it might not be bitting anyone yet, but if it does or it tries to, it won't go nice. He started getting rude and kept talking over me. I told him; " I'm trying to explain to you-how I'm watching your dog and how everyone here is scared to speak up. I'm not, so I'm letting you know-it has to have a leash. It doesn't matter if you're the owner of the facility or not. It's for the safety of the public and the dog himself." He said; " Shut up, he won't bite anyone just shhh." After realizing there's no reasoning with this kind of people I decided to hurry up and finish my laundry ( semi drying ) just to get out ASAP. I feel the fact that this person took upon himself to put not only his dog but others in a spot that could potentially go wrong and bad for either or both parties boggles me and as well angers and saddens me. His way of acting towards the situation is disgusting and unprofessional as a dog owner and business owner. I have never Aileen this guy there or the dog, but the attendant did say he was the owner and it was also his dog. Assuming he meant ( he can do as we wishes. I can't tell my boss to take his dog out.) really shows that this facility doesn't care for their customers safety or he's just a spoiled adult who still thinks he's 13 to live off his fathers business and ruin it for him since it didn't cost him a penny to build it. Very sadden and I have been going there for 6yrs without incidents. Well I sure won't return ever again and I did make a complain to the business bureau and animal control. I will not stand and be an observer when I see that people are in danger. I refuse to stand and let things unfold to a regret of " Why didn't I do something that could have avoided this.). So I tell you all if you go know that this could be your situation or it may not but that's just something g you won't know until you go and don't see anything or go and get attacked. read more

I've been coming to the laundromat for years. I noticed the last while that when my wash is done and it goes thru the spin cycle it doesn't get the clothes dry they're still wet when they come out.
