This is the first time I used Laundry Valet. I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were very helpful and the prices extremely reasonable. Most importantly for me, they offered to deliver my item to my house for no additional charge. It would have been difficult for me to get to them during the week to pick up my item because their hours correlate with my work schedule; however, they suggested they deliver it same day. It was delivered within a couple of hours. This was a huge plus for me. I'll definitely be using them again for the reasons above but also because my item was cleaned so well. read more

You don't usually say that about a place where you get your laundry done, but in my case, I needed to look at complicated wedding dress alterations and I was invited by the owner to come in. She and the seamstress spent a great deal of time with me, going over every option and every concern that I had. They used their own creativity to come up with ideas and solutions. They were amazingly generous with their time, very reasonably priced for the work that i'm considering doing, and overall just really lovely people. It's a friendly atmosphere. I am so happy with the convenience of Laundry Valet. It's owned by a local Thousand Oaks woman entrepreneur who also has a passion for rescuing dogs. Seriously- like she spends lots of her own money & time flying around helping the helpless. I like pressed Duvets instead of wrinkled & I can do it on my ironing board without the Duvet getting all over my (dog walked on) floor. They pick up my back-log of laundry when I'm working extra hours and don't want to make laundry a priority. Mary the owner is real, available, honest, thorough and reasonably priced. I leave my laundry outside my door in their special bags with a post-it note of any special instructions. My credit card is safely on file with them. My laundry turns back up all folded and pressed my Duvets are crisp pressed. I forget I have the chore and soon enough it's done and delivered to my door. I've used her myself for over 3 years and I have clients how absolutely have depended on them for massive laundry jobs while my business is organizing their house. This review is two-fold, it is for the home cleaning service and the laundry service shop in Newbury Park. First, I've had Consider it Done clean my house since moving to this area over a year and a half ago. They know clean. Everything is spotless when they leave and they are extremely professional. They are friendly, trustworthy, quick and efficient as well. They also bring and use the Caldrea cleaning supplies which are earth friendly. The plus is that you don't have to worry about supplies because they bring everything including this super powerful vacuum. I've also used the laundry service for my comforter and it came back super clean and fresh. The price was great too. When discussing the fact that I just spent $40 to replace the 10 buttons on my duvet cover, Mary the owner said they could have done that for me for less. I guess when she says Consider it Done there are many things that they can get done! I will always ask. I'd like for them to do my towels next. My washer and dryer just can't do what Consider it Done can. read more
