The gentleman who is there cleaning the spot is was doing a good job. Sweeping and tending to the customers. I had to pick up my children and sadly their clothing was dirty. I needed a place to wash their clothing before I took them home to my place... My ex wife had passed a few weeks ago and my 13 and 14 year old were really out of it. I didn't want to be at a coin laundry doing the laundry. However, doing it at my old home just didn't feel so good... There was a man there who seemed very empathetic and noticed the expression's on my children's faces, he then told them he too lost someone he loved. I always have advised my children not to speak to strangers but I didn't get a bad vibe from this guy... an elder, rugged and I don't even think he even worked there... No matter, it was getting late. The lights flickered, people in the building were taking their clothing out. I still had another load to do and the other guy sweeping said "take your time", so I did (He didn't kick us out- ). I folded their clothing in silence then my children began to help. We finished: my daughter seemed more uplifted and my son did too. We placed our items in our truck. I went back in to thank the men that were there with us... The place was neat, the new and old washing machines worked great, were clean and the dryers did their duty. At 10:39 the place was empty and spotless. As for that man he was nowhere to be found: thank you Sir. Who ever you were. To the guy cleaning and sweeping thank you too, he was nowhere either. I laughed a little thinking hmm slightly creepy but then again I did over stay a little... they probably went home quick... any how... If your looking for a spot to get clothing washed quick and be in out in the City or T.O. Do it here... I never had to but it was an experience for my children... they have never been in a Coin Laundry before - I had a good chat with them all while reminiscing my days as a kid helping my family do laundry at a coin op, when times weren't so good financially but glad that is over an done with... forgive me for my rant. 5 stars T.O. Owner is a middle age women very rude. Was talking about me in Spanish to her other workers thinking I didn't speak Spanish. One of my blankets had different dogs printed on them and she processed to make a loud scene telling me I needed to leave. I explained my blankets just have animals printed on them and am not using for any animals. She processed to cut me off and make a scene saying I can't have complaints! well here's one! Home laundry machine is broken so came here out of necessity. Don't understand the good reviews. This laundromat is dirty and many of the machines are broken. The woman who works here is not helpful - when it turns out the washing machine here "got stuck" on hot water, her entire solution was to slap a "Sorry, I'm temporarily out of order sign" on the machine. She told us it would take at least an additional 20 minutes for the load to finish because it "got stuck." You have to stand next to your machines because even a 2 minute delay in emptying your machine means another customer will dump out your clothes so they can use the machine. read more

My elderly uncle lives here in Thousand Oaks and I have been coming once to twice a week to do all his laundry. I really like it here. The machines are reliable, and there is almost always someone on site at all times to help you if a machine isn't working. Not always, but mostly. The mostly Latino clientele is awesome too: no one talks to me, which I like, ha ha! (Maybe they think I don't speak Spanish because I am white? I do, and no one has talked smack about me so everyone is nice and they leave me alone!) They have three quarter machines on site which are always working, and I really love those rolling baskets that they provide. They also have snack machines and soda machines that you can pay for it with your phone. Being right next to a donut shop doesn't hurt either. It is as clean as it can be for an older place. It ain't spotless in the sense that there are older floor, tiles and older walls so everything is scuffed, but it is clean for how old it clearly is. read more

The owner was super kind and provided me helpful tips and guidance plus gave me change for a $20. This was super helpful since I'm traveling and just needed to do a quick load. Kindness is not something you see everyday. I loved that he greeted me and immediately offered to help me! His laundry business is clean, prices are very fair, and there are vending machines for single use detergents and softeners. It's important to note that the business doesn't allow you to dry items if you don't wash them there which I think is a fair policy and it's clearly posted. There's plenty of parking and a few shops nearby to visit while you're waiting. There are also tables with umbrellas outside to sit and enjoy that California sunshine. I was somewhat nervous leaving such delicate items at a laundromat, instead of a dry cleaners. Martha, who works there did an amazing job!! The comforters came out beautifully!! The ladies at this laundromat have been very very rude to me and my friend on multiple occasions. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt every time but it's truly just terrible on how they run that place. When I first went there they said that the blanket I had thrown in the wash was making it too heavy so I had to take it out. Ok, my mistake. The washer broke on me the next time. They never gave me the $3.50 I spent on the wash back and they blamed the machine breaking on me. Another time I had asked to use the restroom since they lock it. " it's for paying customers only" so I point to the dryer that full with my clothes and I still had to pay 25¢ to use it (?!???). I acted as if she didn't see me for the hour that I had already been in there for and please note that the place isn't that big. Lastly today I go in to see how much cash the machine can take so I can get quarters. I have my soap and dirty clothes in the car. As we fill my little pouch up with the quarters the lady comes out from the office and said that I'm not allowed to get quarters and then leave. I told her my clothes was in the car and I was just going to grab it. And she still said that I can't do that. I got it my car and drove away. Never. Ever. Going back there again. Lady inside is rude and contradictory. I can wash a jacket covered in bunny hair (white on black so it's very obvious) but I can't wash a normal blanket I use for the same bunny. This is a typical laundry may except with lots of washers and dryers. Some I've been too have been extremely cramped and people watching you. I've been here a couple times already and have never had a bad experience. It's really cheap to wash and dry here. I never spend more than 3$ here. They are also convienently located in a strip mall where you can get a donut and coffee while you wait. Also if you in the afternoon they have a meat market here. They also have a haircut place and nail salon. Perfect also because I am here 45 min for my loads. I usually go right after work and it's very easy. Perfect place to go!! read more

Washed my clothes here on a Saturday morning (11am). Almost nobody around. Clean and all machines function. 2usd normal wash, 5.50, 6.25, 6.50 and 7.50 for big loads (incl. rugs etc). 25cents for every 5 min. in dryer. And yes, if you got a lil' racist hidden away inside you, don't come to this laundromat since it's oriented towards our Latin countrymen (women).......btw they've also got the option for you to just drop your clothes of and they take care of them. I really wish I had a better experience because this place is so close to my work, but I will never be back. The lady who runs it overcharged me and is very rude. She asked me to pick my laundry up the next day before noon. I went there at 9am, she wasn't there, came back at 12 noon she wasn't there. I came the next day at 9am she wasn't there. Then finally I showed a few hours later and she was there but rudely ignored me as I waited. All in all this place is overpriced and very inconvenient to try to get your clothes back. I went here on Friday morning to wash my comforter, it's too large to wash at home. Everything was clean and kept up. It's older so some of the machine were not working but I didn't have any issues. I spent 10.25 to wash and dry. And I probably could have used the next smaller machine but I like lots of room. The lady that was working was very friendly and when the machine wouldn't take my older $10 she gladly gave me a roll of quarters. Overall my experience was great read more

Zero Stars if it were possible. I come here 2 times a week to wash and dry clothes. When I went to get quarters from the lady worker she harassed me for getting too much coins, when I only in reality got enough coins to wash and dry my clothes, felt very Disrespected!!! Other people were getting $10-20 dollars in quarters ahead of me in line with no problems before I came up to her. Based on my only visit to this place today, I will say the below: The good: None of the washers ate my quarters and worked as they should. None of the change machines shorted me any quarters. The bad: One of the change machines would just keep randomly kicking back crisp, relatively new dollar bills.. Fortunately, there was 2 more change machines. The neutral: The place feels worn and tired (Kind of like myself, today). You'll see handwritten signs galore, faded printed signs, etc.. But most everything seems serviceable. The place was largely empty at 4PM on this Saturday afternoon. I paid $6.50 for each jumbo washer I used to wash my comforters. Not sure if $6.50 is the going rate, as I'm spoiled with my own washer at my place.. I'd come back here. My expectations aren't set high for laundromats. :-) read more

If you're not fortunate enough to to have a washer/dryer at home or yours died, this is a great place to go. It's very clean and the staff is attentive. Decor is from the 70's, but the machines worked great. Plenty of change machines so don't worry about bringing quarters with you. Regular wash is $2 and $.25 per 5 min in the dryer. read more

I like it here because of the hours and it's close to my house. They put in new washing machines which I think made the prices go up to $2.50 but that's okay. I'm kind of lame when it comes to laundromats so if I need to do a load of laundry with bleach, I go to my parents house and use their washing machine because I don't use the $5 machines. read more

It's a laundry. The washers work, and the dryers dry. Its coin operated, don't have to worry about smart cards. Its clean. They have working change machines, working soap machines, they even have a hanger machine. Did I mention the dryers dry? If you get stuck in Thousand Oaks, and you have to do laundry, this is it. I have used their fluff and fold drop off service for years and have always been satisfied. The laundry come back clean, sorted and neatly folded. They don't lose stuff. I can't comment on doing laundry there yourself, but the place is usually fairly crowded, so it it sucked they wouldn't have the the traffic that they do. read more

Honest review of this place if your doing your own laundry. Theres good parking, the place is not big, only 1 bench inside to sit, theres benches outside with 4 tables, theres 2 old tvs inside about 17inch, not good for anything. The noise of the machines will not allow you to hear the tv if many of them are on. The stations are in spanish, not sure if you can change the channel, so basically bring something to keep you occupied. Washing machines come in 2 styles, top loaders for your basic 1 load at $2.50 each, and front loaders at $4, $5.75 and $6.75 for heavy duty loads. They're old type machines, not modern, same as used in the 80s or 90s. They work, so cant complain. The dryers are average. The price is $0.25 per dry cycle @ 5 minutes. The good thing is you dont have to pay full price for only 5 minutes of drying. You can load 30 minutes of drying for $1.50 then come back, if you need 5 more minutes its only $0.25 These dryers work more efficient on heavy loads, as per a big sign above the dryers. These dryer look even older, like they were made in the 70s. It uses quarters and sometimes the quarters dont go all the way in, and you have to keep trying. Not the best dryers but still get the job done. The laundromat is not up-kept much, it is clean but its just an old facility. Overall, its its just as good as using the laundromat at an apartment complex. They also provide you the option to drop off laundry while you do your errands. Its a good option, haven't used the service so cant really review it. So in all, this place is not the best nor the worst but works just fine. read more
