Very quick responses and my dress and pants were hemmed quickly within a week which gave me plenty of time!

Fantastic tailoring at great prices. Quick turnaround time. Really happy with all that was done! Great experience.

I was just looking for a dry cleaner here in town and reached out today 3 different ways: 1) called - no answer 2) requested a quote here via Yelp (says quote delivered in 20 min) - no one responded 3) decided to drop in - the woman at the counter said she couldn't provide a quote! Honestly, three tries and I still came up empty. Won't be giving them a 4th try. Went elsewhere. read more

I am a new customer ,I Had to find a new cleaners because the one by my home went out of business found this place on yelp ended up staying there for about 30 minutes talking to the owner. Great service. Helped me out in getting thru a pinch. Needed a quick turn around on a alterations.

So I bought a really cute dress for Xmas on fashion nova. It was to big in the waist, so I needed it altered. I hopped on Yelp to find someone who could alter before the holiday. Chris answers the phone snd told me they could do it the next day! I was beyond thrilled! Chris goes above snd beyond, with his customer service! We laughed and had a good time while he pinned up the dress. He also put a hook and eye on a blazer I bought that didn't come with any type of closure. I'm so happy with both! They do a great job here. Thanks again Chris. read more

I want to update my review to include photos of the work done as seeing is believing that these guys are great! They were friendly, professional, within budget and COVID safe! I highly recommend them. My problem was the dress was way too big and with the open back there wouldn't be much they could do. But, as you can see they made it fit perfectly around the bust and hips. The wedding was a dream thanks to these guys! read more

This place is always a pleasure to visit. They are very nice, professional and seem to have photographic memories, especially the owner Chris's son, when it comes to customers. For example: Who else in town leaves out a full box of See's Candy for their customers? Anyhow, back to the topic at hand. I've used them quite a bit before Covid, but as my business travel diminished so did my dry cleaning/ laundry needs. Now that things are picking back up I am happy to be using them again. I hope once my volume stabilizes, Chris, will cut me a deal as he has in the past. Prices are high everywhere and unfortunately - here too. read more

I cannot say enough nice things about the business acumen of Simi Cleaners Owner Chris & his assistant Kathy . We have been coming here for about a year now. Everything is terrific. We had an oops. A bad oops . Details not necessary. However what you need to know is that Chris stood by his work, his word and never faultered. I want to shout it from a mountain, he is one of the most honest small business person I've dealt with in my career and as a consumer. Business always have "fine print" some people stick by that and some people actually care about their reputation and doing the right thing. Chris /Simi Cleaners has the integrity you want in a small business. We will continue to patronize this business and share our message with all of our friends and you should definitely bring your clothing here for dry cleaning . We adore you Chris & Kathy and big thanks for all you did ! read more

I had curtains made for my home and they ended up being too long. I called all over the place to find someone that would be able to hem them. I sent out messages on Yelp and Chris answered immediately! Wow, talk about amazing Customer Service. He asked me to bring in one of the panels and he would give me an estimate. After I received the estimate I brought all the panels in for hemming and I can not thank Chris enough for calling me before they hemmed them. I had given him the correct measurements but I did not take in to account that I measured where the curtain rod was and not the curtains. If Chris would not have called me to verify where I measured them from, they would have been too short. Chris, Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being so diligent and double checking my measurements. Simi Valley Cleaners Rocks! Thank you Chris! read more

5 stars for beautiful and amazing service!!! Goodness where do I start off... long story short I needed to get my wedding dress altered pretty much within a day (the person who bought the dress got the wrong size and it was the battle of fighting teeth and nails the day before my wedding day) I had went in, told the amazing alterations lady and Chris my situation and what I had wanted for my wedding dress. Wanted the corset back with the privacy screen, and goodness, I was so thrilled and so HAPPY it was done the day before my wedding! It fit beautiful, got so many compliments, Chris and the staff was so nice and sweet, would definitely recommend this place to anyone! Truly a hidden gem of GREAT customer service!! Thank you both again!! !! read more

I didn't realize that the long formal dress I bought for my niece's wedding had 3 layers. Since it was coming from overseas I didn't want to take s chance so I bought 2 size up. Hence, it required the hemming and adjustment on the width as well. I was charged $90+ dollars for the work involved and he gave me free steam cleaning. It was almost the price as the dress but at least I know the dress fit me perfectly. Friendly and gift customer service read more

Customer service was excellent. Will recommend. To any one . Very friendly and always willing to make it right.

Chris and the tailor here at Simi Valley cleaners are amazing! I brought in my daughters 7-LAYER prom dress in to the store about 2 weeks before the dance, and they were able to do all the alterations perfectly within a week!! Considering the time it took the tailor to hem allllll the layers, add a sash and the straps, the price for the alterations was reasonable for a 'rush' project. David's Bridal (where we purchased the dress) did not even want to provide us with a quote because they said they did not have enough time. One of my best friends used SVC for her wedding dress during Covid, and we had the same experience: excellent, quick and reasonable alterations. I highly recommend this business for alterations and for all your dry cleaning needs! read more

I took my 1 and 5 year old's white flower girl dresses there after they got so incredibly disgusting at a wedding and got them back looking amazing, the 5 year olds was as good as new, the smaller one is still a teeny bit dark at the very very ends but they told me they cleaned it 3 times and it still couldn't be perfect but I'm honestly surprised it came back as clean as it did, I wish I had before and after pictures because it was so horrible going in. read more

This place is easily 5 stars. Everything about it from the service to the end result is amazing. I called them on Monday to see if they can help me modify my pants for a wedding. The first time I've been to Simi Valley Cleaners and I'm excited about it! I finally found a reliable and affordable cleaners! I dropped off a leather jacket on Monday and picked it up Thursday. It was perfectly clean and softer than I remembered. I took this same jacket to Cleaner 1 off sycamore and they charged me double the cost, put an internal barcode and didn't do that great of a job. So glad I gave this cleaners a shot! read more

Highly recommend Simi Valley Cleaners (alterations)! After being quoted between 600-700 for alterations on my wedding gown by bridal boutiques and other tailors, Simi Valley cleaners did an excellent, professional job for a mere $75. They were super quick and flexible, and made second adjustments no problem! They even put up with my crazy mother! Thanks so much! read more

After my old tailor retired I was looking for a new place to go. I read the reviews for all of them, but was especially impressed by the good words people were leaving of this place. I walked in looking to get my pants hemmed and tapered, but unfortunately Chris was not there and his son (who was there) thought it better that his father do the measurements since he was more experienced. He gave me his father's number and told me to call him, that he'd be happy to stay at the shop longer if need be so that I could come in whenever I had the time. Luckily, my class the following day did not start until 11 am so I had time to drop by the next morning when Chris would be there. Although I never called him, I was still really blown away by their eagerness to help and their willingness to accommodate. With regard to the actual experience: with my old tailor I was used to just telling him how I wanted my pants tailored without further input on his end. But when I was telling Chris, he actually suggested subtle changes to both the taper and hem that I originally requested. Taking into consideration that he has far more experience than me, of course I went with his input; and upon getting the pants back a few days later I was really glad that I went with his advice because it came out better than I imagined. And this experience is why I will continue coming back. Thank you to both Chris and his son! read more
